How to hide parameters values from address way?

Hello!
I have a servlet with a simple Authorization Form.
I want to send the inputted values of login and password to the second servlet and I want to go to that second servlet.
I see the inputted values of login and password in the address way of the second servlet. How can I hide it from there?

HTP.FORMCLOSE;- When I click on the "Add" button, the procedure addSubProject is called and the parameters are well hidden in the bad adderss.
- For the "Delete" button, I made a different process because I can't put two different submit buttons in one form. In another word, the POST mechanism can't work for the "Delete" button so I do not know how to hide parameters in this case.
As for direct links, I do not know what do to.
Example :
HTP.PRINT('<a href="./c3bd7.incr2n.subprojectList?p_id_proj=' ||p_id|| '">Go back</a>');- I am using this kind of link to switch from a page to another, and once again I do not know how to hide the parameters...
The official documentation encourages to use cookies (http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/appdev.102/b14251/adfns_web.htm#CHECAHEB) : is it easy to implement ?

Hi,
if you willing to investigate how one could reuse session variables, then that might offer you some solution. Browser session variables can be passed on from page to page. Trouble is, back and forward browser buttons don't work so well.

How to select multiple values from the Parameters defined in the concurrent program...and i believe multiple selection is not a direct feature of EBS, but is there any workaround solution to acheive mulitple selection?

I think there's no way to do that using standard feature.
Some workaround I use :
1. If the number of selections are fixed, you could use multiple parameters for the same valueset. For example :
Selection1 : <choose first selection>
Selection2: <choose 2nd selection>
..etc.
If you don't use it then leave it empty.
2. Use text varchar valueset and enter it manually and separate by comma (or other value) , eg : selection1,selection2,selection3....etc.

Iam able to get the results when I am selecting one value..
and also I am able to handle multiple values the in the query by using IN :Parameter, but seems when we select more than one value from the parameter drop down i think the Bi Publisher is sending the values in concatenated form something ilke
ex: "'ACCOUNT','HR','SALES'" ,and when trying to display the parameters values in the output, its throwing the error as 'missing right paranthesis' ....on the whole do you have any solution which would handle
1.Single selection.
2.Multiple selection.
3.'ALL' Values.
4.Separating the concatenated string into individual strings and dispaly them on the output of the report..etc..in case of Mulitple selection.
Ex:
Concatenated String from BI Publisher:"'ACCOUNT','HR','SALES'"
Expected Output on the report:ACCOUNT,HR,SALES

the reason I need that is when I build seperate select for each value, I need to add the query number at the end of the select query.

I would like to do it, but without a triger that would do it before insert.
I know that there is a type DBSequence in BC where you can insert a sequence name but it does not work when I type there my sequence name.
Do you now how to fix that problem?

The newer way to do it is to make the type DBSequence and enter the name of the Sequence object in the sequence field. It must match the same name of the sequence object in the database. Next, you have to create a before insert for each row trigger on the table. Basically, something like this:

BEFORE INSERT ON THEME
FOR EACH ROW
DECLARE
BEGIN
-- Assign the id from the sequence if null
     IF( :new.theme_id IS NULL ) THEN
          SELECT THEME_ID_SEQ.nextval
          INTO :new.theme_id
          FROM dual;
     END IF;
END;
In the above example, THEME_ID_SEQ is the seuence object name in the database. If you have the name right but it still fails, then the user you are logging in as probably doesn't have access to the sequence in the database.

Hi Alebet,
With reporting services to pass values from sub report in to main report is not supported directly.
But there are some workarounds through which you can get this .
There are two ways to get this.
1- Put your sub report query into some table. i mean to say through the subreport query get some temporary table.
2- Using this temporary tables data write some Scala function in the data base.
3- Now in your main report query return this scala function as a column.
4- Extract the column value where ever you want in your main report which is getting calculated from the subreport query. so you will be getting the values returned from the subreport in the main report.
This will definitely work fine as i have done some report in this way.
Another way of doing is that
1- prepare another data set with the same query as in sub report in the data tab.
2- then refer this 2nd dataset in your main report .
But better way will be the top one.
Anyway please let me know if you get the solution.

I am using sbRIO 9633. How do you log values from RT target to the computer?
I created a shared variable on the RT target and used them on the log VI created under "My Computer", but I get error.
I get this error..

What are your data rates? If you are producing data "continuously", you might find that Network Streams are easier and more reliable than Network Shared Variables. In any case, you need an "engine" on one side (Host or Target) or the other. I'm streaming 24 channels of 16-bit data from a PXI controller to a PC this way, with three other streams handling two-way messaging and transmission of "occasional" time-stamped data to the PC.

Every webdynpro component has a global controller called the component controller which is visible to all other controllers within the component.So whenever you want to share some data in between 2 different views you can just make it a point to use the component controller's context for the same. For your requirement (within your popups view context) you will have have to copy the component controllers context to your view. You then will have to (programmatically) fill this context with your desired data in this popup view. You can then be able to read this context from whichever view you want. I hope that this would have made it clear for you. Am also giving you an [example|http://****************/Tutorials/WebDynproABAP/Modalbox/page1.htm] which you can go through which would give you a perfect understanding of all this. In this example the user has an input field in the main view. The user enters a customer number & presses on a pushbutton. The corresponding sales orders are then displayed in a popup window for the user. The user can then select any sales order & press on a button in the popup. These values would then get copied to the table in the main view.

You have a datatable in which each row is a question, correct?
Also in each row you have 5 possible answers that are in a radio, correct?
So,
You need to put in your datatable model, a question, and a list of answers (5 in yor case) and the selected one.
So you will have a get to the question, an SelectItem[] list to populate the radios and another get/set to the selected question.
ex:

Just use the appropriate API's for that. There are enough API's out which can read/parse/write XML, ini and properties files. E.g. JAXP or DOM4J for xml files, INI4J for ini files and Sun's own java.util.Properties for propertiesfiles.
JSF supports properties files as message bundle and resource bundle so that you can use them for error messages and/or localization.

getCurrentRow() would always return null if no setCurrentRow() is used.
Please check the page design and understand how many rows of VO are there. You can also use the following to get the row:
vo.reset();
vo.next();
