How to Hide reception list in BW information broadcasting

Hi All,
We are sending our BW reports from mail using Information broadcasting functionality and it is working properly.
Now we are having a requirement to hide the reception list ( All member who receives mail).
i.e when we send a mail it should not show who have been marked in the mail.
Please suggest.

Hi,
We can just create a Generic Mail Id with all Distribution List( required mail Ids) and can put this single Mail id in the Information Broadcasting. there are 2 advantages in this, First as you require, we cant see the other mail ids, and if there is any change in the distribution list, we need not to change the list in information broadcasting now and then, so less work. we can only change the Distribution list, which can be maintained by any manger.

How to change the owner of an Information Broadcasting setting?

Hi,
I have created and scheduled some reports to be distributed via the Information Broadcasting functionality. I would like know if it is possible to change the "owner" of the setting in order to cater for the following scenario.
User A has created and setup a few Information Broadcasting settings. I would like to change the ownership of the setting so that User B has access to make changes. At the moment, users only have rights change their own settings.

Found a workaround although not ideal. I can temporarily assign the user the required rights to view all setting. User can then copy the settings (using save as option) and once done I can remove the rights.
However, the report format would have been customised and saved (using save view option) prior to setting up the information broadcast. When transfering ownership I also need to transfer the ability for the user to edit the saved format without starting from scratch. Any table or transaction I could use to do this? So at the moment I have a solution to enable the new user to change the distribution list and schedule, but not the report format which is required.

How to hide the list screen

HI all,
When i am calling another screen from my report program to display the result. I am Able to display the result on the intended screen but when i click on back the back button it is returing to the list screen first and than next to the selection screen.
I dont want to get the list screen in between but only the selection screen should be displayed when i click on the back button.
How to avoid the display of the list screen.

Portal: how to define new text variables for information broadcasting

I hope the post here is placed on the right position. If not, please try to advise me, where to ask to get answer on following question:
-> In BI Portal -> tab Business Intelligence -> Bex Broadcaster -> it is possible to create PDF and post it somewhere into Portal or any other network drive. That's fact. I'm searching for possible enhancement of the F4 help next to the field "data name". There are available only following few variables <OBJECT_ID> <SETTING_ID> <OWNER_ID> <PROCESSED_BY_ID> <LANGUAGE_ID> <DATE_ID> <TIME_ID> <WEEK_ID> <MONTH_ID> <QUARTER_ID> <YEAR_ID>
We are facing this issue: generated analysis file is valid for the period from month 01 to month actual-1. So therefore I would like to implement my own variable.
Do you know guys, where to define this own variable with own logic?
Could you please give me some hints how to create a new one and fill the logic?

Information Broadcasting(Event Data change in Info provider)

Does anyone have experince on the functionality Information Broadcasting ,Can you please help me where we use Trigger event when change in the info provider in the process chains.I want to know when we use the (Trigger event in the Broadcaster) in the process chains,how will it take effect in the Information Broadcasting scheduler screen when we select the particular Info provider when there is any data change.Can you please elaborate on the topic if any one has used the event data change in the info provider.Actually I Executed and scheduled the pocess chains, when I go to the Process chain log ,It says that the Job is finished and the data change is occured for the Cube,but I dont get any error message and I dont get any mail to my Inbox.Can you please through some light if anyone has worked on this,Answers are always appreciated and rewarded.

Usually we trigger an event in SM64 tcode..if u want to create an event u will go for SM62.
In addition to time- and calendar-based job scheduling, the background processing system supports event-driven scheduling.
Triggering an event notifies the background processing system that a particular condition has been met. The background processing system reacts by starting any jobs that were waiting for that event.
Events are not saved. Once an event occurs and triggers any jobs that were waiting for that event, the event is discarded
U can monitor process chain via Tcode 'CCMS'..
Information broadcasting allows you to make objects with Business Intelligence content available to a wide spectrum of users, according to your own requirements.

I can see how you do that when using the 'normal' emailing system from my mailing box, but not when working from the contact application (the 'book' on the bottom icon bar with the @ on it)....

Found the answers:
1. The service Impl should implement the javax.xml.rpc.server.ServiceLifecycle interface.
In this way you get access to a javax.xml.rpc.server.ServletEndpointContext, which gives access to amongst others javax.xml.rpc.handler.MessageContext, which gives access to request information
2. In the Handler it is possible to store information on the MessageContext, which can be accessed in the service Impl (see 1.).
