How to hide/show dashboards for user/groups

Please help on how to hide/show dashboard menu/sub menu to users/groups based on their profile settings.

Hi Jinu,
1) Do some or all of those subreports span multiple pages?
2) Do each of the Subreports start on a new page?
If yes, for both, then here's what you need to do:
1) Create a formula (@True) with this code:
shared booleanvar SetStatus:= True
2) Create another formula (@False) with this code:
shared booleanvar SetStatus:= False
Drag and drop the @True formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to be suppressed.
Similarly, drop the @False formula on the details sections for which you want the Page Footer to show up.
Then, go to the Section Expert > Select Page Footer c > Click the formula button beside Suppress and use this code:
shared booleanvar SetStatus;

    I'm not sure how to attach a search help to it because it is a field on a standard SAP screen that already has a search help.
    This is probably not going to be very clean, but let me give more details as to what I'm trying to accomplish. 
    There is a field "Group Asset" that is on t-codes AS01, AS01, AS11.  There is already a search help provided by SAP.  The functional person wants me to create a field-exit to check a custom table based on Company Code, Cost Center, and Asset Class importing PIDs.  If there is only one group asset that fits the criteria, then I will just place it in the field.  If there are multiple group assets, then the user has to select which one and place it in the field. 
    I appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks!!!

    You can do this by taking the edit link off the report and putting it into your report SQL.

    While that is not there yet, you can make use of the show when empty yes/no in combination with alerters.
    So I have an alerter applied to every cell of the table.
    When a condition is true (say I drilled down) I just put = "" in every cell, emptying the table,
    because its now empty and doesn't need to show, it wont.
    For the detail table I use the opposite, so when you drilled down it becomes visible...

    I've found a sample code creating a policy in the following document.

    I'm not exactly sure what you are tying to do here, but typical approach when issuing one PDF par user/groups scenario goes like:
    1. Create policy for specific purpose and add principal (user/group)
    2. Apply policy on server side
    3. Deliver the file (via email etc...)

    After logging with the user in OBI Answers Goto-->Settings on right top corner then click on My accounts and there you will find default dashboard preference where you can set it.

    You can drag it from one place on a drive to another.  If you are moving it from one drive to another then it copies it.  If you are moving it on the same drive and are getting that message then not being able to move the folder is the least of your problems.  Free up space immediately because your computer is about to crash and probably lose files.  Then you'll have lots of space.

    You can't create groups in the contacts app and even if you create a group in icloud.com, the group is useless for email purposes on the iPad. At least I have never been able to get the groups that I create in icloud.com to appears as options for emailing.
    There are third party apps that will let you do this.

    There is also a workaround where you type all of the email addresses that you want to create a group for in the Notes app separated by a comma,between each address. Copy and paste that one long "email address" in the contacts app and name it whatever you like. Select that as your group when you want to send the group email.
    I Haven't done the workaround in ages, so experiment with it first. You may need to leave a space after the comma before you start trying the next email address.

    In the processRequest method of the controller execute the query of the Outer table region and check is there any row or not.
    If yes then do nothing else hide the bean i.e. hide/show bean. You need to do PPR for this.

    THere is simple way of doing it. Follow the steps below -
    1. Create 'Radio Button' in another form.
    2. Create 2 buttons in it e.g - 1=Show & 2=Hide.
    3. THen there is option as 'Visibility Condition' on Chart 'Properties'.
    4. Write condition as - IF('Form Tech name'@ST1=="1",true,false)
    here ST1 is tech name of the radio button you can select it in formula option.
    5. Then make 1 or 2 as default value.
    You can change radio button at run time & you can show or hide the chart.

    I don't think it can be done. According to the link below 'Users who have authorization for the authorization object S_QUERY with both the values Change and Maintain, can access all queries of all user groups without being explicitly entered in each user group.'

    Although I think you can add code to your infoset and maybe restrict according to authority group, i.e.:
    Use AUTHORITY-CHECK to restrict access to the database based on user.
