Every time I use it, it goes to digsby search. I set that up a long time ago and have since uninstalled it. I just started reusing firefox after installing the latest version, and I would like to have the awesome bar back.

The Home folder isn't named "Home." It is named for the user account it represents.
Who is your "supplier?" Sounds like they're not terribly bright.
Can you provide some details on why they "changed" it. Is this a brand new Mac? Were you having information transferred from another computer?
It sounds like you just need to create a new account and get rid of "Demo."
While logged into the "Demo" account, go to System Preferences in the Apple Menu.
Click on Users & Groups
If the padlock is locked, click on it and enter your password.
Click the + button at the bottom of the list of users. This will create a new account. Fill in the information you'd like to use for your account. The account name is what will be used for the "Home" folder.
Once created, select it from the list and check the box to "Allow user to administer this computer."
You can then log out of "Demo" and log in as your new user. If there is nothing in the Demo account that you want, you can delete it from the Users & Groups System Pref.

After rotating video, how do I change the black side bars from black to white?

In the bad old days when I used iMovie, I coud rotate a video 90 degrees and get black bars on either side of the video. Then I could add the negative effect and it would not only give me the negative of the video itself but it would also change the black bars to white bars, something I quite liked for the project I was working on. Make a white generator and put it underneath the video. The pillars are not black. They're empty.

If on a Mac, and you elected to save such to your Keychain, you can recover it from your Keychain. Otherwise, you can't.
While you can continue to sync/backup, if you can't remember it & want to remove it, you'll have to delete your existing backups & restore the phone as a new device. Your data will be unrecoverable.
You can also search for a commercial backup passcode cracker. I have no experience with any, thus cannot make a recommendation.

How can I get the book marks bar back to showing all bookmarks?

The recent changes to the bookmarks bar are really annoying.
Previously I could see all the bookmarks, even if they flowed onto two or three lines now I can only see one line and the rest are in a drop down. This makes it slower to access things that I go to on a regular basis.
Also, how do I hide the folders???!!! They take up so much room on the bookmarks bar. It was so much better before the last few upgrades.

You may have been using the old Multirow Bookmarks extension in Firefox 3.6 and earlier versions of Firefox, which wasn't updated for Firefox 4.0 and 5.0. This is a different version of that old extension, which adds a few new features. <br />

How do you change the iOS 5 tabs back to the page of previews

i recently updated my ipad 2 to ios 5 and dislike the new tabs bar at the top of the page and would like to change back to the old full page of previews

I hate the tabs and would revert back to the old iOS if I could just to get the old Safari back. I often keep websites open that I want to revisit later, and being able to look at the preview to remember what it was was very helpful... now I have to flip through the tabs, wait for the pages to load, and look at the content in order to figure out if that's the page I want or not. To me this really negatively impacts my entire iPad experience. Hopefully there is another browser I can download that has the old functionality, and hopefully Apple listens to these complaints and gives users the option to go back. I complained to Apple... hopefully they listen like they did when they gave us the screen lock button back.

How can I change the "Save as Web..." default behaviour?

In CS6 Adobe re-programmed the "Save as Web..." dialog. Upon exporting slices it puts all graphics in a sub-folder called "images" (in the German version "Bilder"). I'm pretty sure, even in the German part of the world no-one would want to have images go in a folder called "Bilder", most use "images" or "img".
But how about not forcing me to put the pictures in a pre-named folder and have me select where I want them to be saved? It's very tedious to have to move graphic files manually upon every change and re-save...
Is there an option to disable the "create folder" option like there used to be until CS5.5?

Well, that's just the option I wished for - but only Adobe know why they decided to remove this menu item in CS 6... Pay your dues and upgrade for a lot of money to the newest version - and be punished for it.

How do i bring the old navigation bar back in Firefox 4.0?

I installed FF4 when the final version was released, and, like many other users, i find the new UI very frustrating.
I managed to deal with the tabs, the menu and the status bar. But i can't cope with the navigation bar. Not only i want to rearrange the buttons to make them ordered like before, but also i'd like to see them look like before. Not these Chrome/Safari-like one-color buttons, but the pretty blue-ish buttons i have in FF 3.6.x.
Also, i'd like to have 'Reload' and 'Stop' buttons separated, as they were before.
So, is there a way to make FF4 look like i want it to, or the only way is to stay on FF3.6 (which i already reverted to)?

I tried something and didn't work.
So had to Restore Default.

Unfortunately, Firefox is yet to have it's own volume control. Consequently, unless a site has it's own volume control, you can not modify firefox's sound.
Personally, I think Firefox having it's own volume control could work out well for digital multitaskers! I'll make a suggestion on bugzilla right now. I will update this post with details of my bug id. later

Cant restore after installing updates how do I change the home user/account

I installed 3 updates, opps, this morning, and when I restarted the computer it had reverted back to old setting from 2004. I purchased the computer from a friend, and had worked hard to remove his stuff, now my settings mail etc are gone and the old stuff is back. How do I restore the computer to what it was before the updates took it all off? also how do I change the home from his back to ours? sorry, I am new at this and very very frustrated with the mac so far.

Changing the home folder name caused the problems, not the updates. The problems won't show up until you restart, which, in your case, was just

When you get a used computer, it is safest to erase the disk (with zeroing option), then reinstall OSX, update it, and get the latest versions of all the software you need. You should also run Extended Tests from the Apple Hardware Test disc to be sure there are no hardware problems.

You can't. It's now integrated with the URL bar. It's a search/URL combo.

Obviously if your main drive is not C: then you’ll have to change that, same goes for ‘user’
