Pre-Tiger, if you wanted to include a bunch of Bcc: addresses from your Address Book within Mail you could double-click each one from the mini Address Book window IF YOU HAVE THE CURSOR in the Bcc: field.
Even worse is that since Mail's inception in 10.0x, only To: and Cc: appeared as buttons! Conspicuously absent: a Bcc: button!
With ever-increasing spam, and privacy needs, anyone who sends to groups of people who may not know each other in the To: field is committing a terrible breach of privacy (exception: friends & family, etc.). Hopefully, one or more of those recipients would have have taught the "offender" how to use Bcc:.
Anyway, I was on the phone with Tech Support from Apple and they are finally "on the case." Level II and III techs actually had to fiddle with Jaguar and Tiger Mail to reproduce my problems, which is amazing that nobody [here] has escalated the issue very far. Their database was devoid of these problems!
Let's hope a Mail update is on the way shortly! We shouldn't have to wait for 10.4.5 for such an easy fix (the Bbcc: button at least).

If you have a problem, think about it. There is a wonderful little menu item on almost all applications called "Help". I have found it gives me the answer to about 99% of my problems. Mail "Help" provides the answer to your problem:
"To send email to more than one recipient, type the addresses, separated by commas, in the To or Cc (carbon copy) fields.
To send someone a copy without other recipients knowing, type the person's address in the Bcc (blind carbon copy) field. (If the Bcc header is not showing in your email message, choose View > Bcc Address Field.)
To have the Bcc or Cc header appear in all emails you send, open a new message window, choose Customize from the Action pop-up menu in the lower-left corner of the address area. Select the checkbox next to the items you want to appear in your new message headers.
To send to a group of people, create a group address in Address Book, then use the group address in your email instead of the individual addresses. See Address Book Help for more information on creating a group.
If you want your recipients to reply to a different address from the one you are using to send the email, choose View > Reply-To Address Field, then add the address."

How to see bcc recipients in sent mail, AppleMail 5.3?

Wish I could be king. But you described the problem perfectly and I am still but a pawn. All I can say is that I trashed the mail preferences (com.apple.mail.plist) on my Mac Mini, and now my MacBook seems to work right.
Sorry. :>) But that is the truth... The MacBook now has actually sometimes displayed pasted text in its actual, different, font and style as I paste it into a partially composed new mail message.
In other (more rational) words, the problem seems to be tied to pasting only certain types of text. I have not been able yet to pinpoint what. Yes, frustrating indeed. The only work-around has been to re-train my fingers to command-option-shift V, for "paste and match style" (like you, I do not want to always use only plain text). Maybe someone else will eventually weigh in with a real solution. The solution I want is just to be able to consistently see any font variations within my message before I send the email.
The info about the different ppi scales between Windows and Mac is interesting, although not relevant to this particular problem. It does explain the apparent overall size differences I have seen before.

Issue with firePartialAction or how to include JavaScript Functions

We are using the Client Action Type: firePartialAction on an element in a region of type: TABLE. When a user enters data in here and tabs away, the action fires and recalculates 2 other fields in the same region. On a object with a small number of rows, it seems to work fine. However, when you have a large number of rows (anything over 25), the page seems to hang for nearly a minute and then when it does come back, the values are sometimes not calculated properly.
The only reason we are using firePartialAction is because the dev guide says that JavaScript is not supported by OAF. We would much rather use a client-side JavaScript function to do these simple arithemtic operations rather than do them on the server.
My question is two-fold:
1 - Has anyone experienced this issue and are there any other settings or coding tricks that we should be aware of.
2 - Has anyone ever rendered a page with a custom JavaScript tag (or library)? Also, where would you add the code in JDeveloper to get a particular element to execute a particulate javascript function (ie: onchange=MCalc())?

The firePartialAction event is not working for us, so we need to be able to at least try out javascript. We're rendering the page from an XML file, so it's not clear to us how we would even get a custom HTML tag to render into the page at all. Normally, I'd use some kind of HttpServletResponse.getWriter()...println method call to write html (as in a controller servlet), but how would you do that using the OAWebBean? I checked the OAFromattedTextBean, would that allow me to embed onchange into the field?

Yes you can do it.
Just add that function in that menu and exclude function from other responsibilities (which is having same menu) where you don't want to show/use this function.
For getting list of responsibilities using same menu you can query on menu name under responsibility form.

I've been searching for this through various websites, but the instructions I've found correspond to older OS versions and I cannot find how to do this for Mail in Yosemite.
I would like to be able to see the BCC field in all Mail message windows. I've figured out how to bring up the BCC field while composing an email, but I can not see the field when I review my sent mail.

I can only speak to Yosemite 10.10.1 and Apple Mail 8.1 at the moment. You can simply press Command-Option-B while in Mail and it should toggle the setting. You can see the option in Mail by pulling down the "View" menu in the Menu Bar where you can simply tick beside "BCC Address Field."

You don't have to shut down the computer to switch accounts. All you do is click the Apple symbol in the upper left and choose Log Out and that's it. You can also set up Faster User Switching by:
1. Open System Preferences - Accounts
2. Click Login Options
3. Check the box called "Show fast user switching menu as" then choose from either icon, short name or name.
Then when someone wants to switch users they can. The advantage of this method is if you are have a document open and don't want to close it the document will remain open. If the other user attempts to shut down the computer they can't until you have logged out thereby saving all your data.
A very simple and elegant solution.
