How to include events for LO

Hi,
Is there a way to include events for standard LO data sources ?
There are a list of events that are available for 2LIS_02_ITM and it records all the delta changes as per the events.For 2LIS_02_SCN there is only one event available which triggers only when a purchase order is saved or changed. But since there is no event available for GRn and Invoice reciept for this content no changes are recorded when a GR is done for a Purchase order.
I wish to include events for 2LIS_02_SCN same as 2LIS_02_ITM, is there a way to do so ? Thanks.

When you are in the View Cluster maintenance dialog (SE54) click on dialog "Events".
Below the field for the view cluster you have an additional field FORM routines main program. There you have to add the main program containing the FORM routines called by the VC events.
For example: I had defined a normal report containing an include with all the FORM routines. The report contains only the following lines of coding:
report zus_0120_u1.
* Common Data und access routines for user exits in VC maintenance
include LSVCMCOD.
include zus_0120_f1. "FORM routines for VC events
Now in the "Events" dialog of the view cluster maintenance you assign your FORM routines to the events.

This you have to maintain in Scheduling agrement document itself.
In scheduleing agreement (ME31L)--> Pricing Condition Icon. if you select this there you can find the scales assignemnt in headel leavel icon. (F2).
If assgin this will fllow in delivery schedule line.

Let me know How to include contextMenu for whole swf?

I have a similar problem.
Stand alone my Sprites custom context menu always works. I can instantiate it using code, and nest it 'n' levels deep.
When I add it to my main application, a default context menu is shown. The main application is very complex - as it's a design application similar to Balsamiq Mockups - so every individual widget has a stand alone test harness. This has been working very well as a way of coping with the size and complexity of the main application. But the context menu thing just doesn't work in the main application, and from the documentation I've seen nothing that suggests I should have had any problems including else wher.
Please, please if anyone knows why in some scenarios a context menu stops working and the default context menu is shown instead then please share as I'm at the point of tearing my hair out on this....

The scenario is that when "My Notifications" portlet shows a message, this event should activates other portlet, say SMS portlet to send a SMS to user notified him/her that there was an message in his/her Notification page.

Hi guys,
It happened to me more than once wanting to create an event that would repeat every month for 5 months ( example ) and having to create an individual event for every single month since there is now way to limited the amount of months a event can occur.
Is there a way to limit the amount of months of an event?

[Solved] How to include examples for an AUR package

Hi,
I read the wiki pages how to create packages for the AUR,
but I am not sure how to include examples which should be placed
in /usr/share/doc/<package>/examples/ after the package was installed.
Should all files be mentioned in the "sources" variable of the PKGBUILD
or is it better to copy them via the .install file?

I hope below method will help solving the requirement:
-Changes made to the keydocuments are recorded in the change document
Header table i.e. CDHDR and Item table CDPOS, Additional change
pointers are written in the BDCP and BDCPS tables. (BDCP and BDCPS in your case)
-A standard program RBDMIDOC is sechuled to run on periodic basis to
evaluate the change pointers for a message type and starts the ALE
process for distributing the Masterdata to the appropriate destination.
-'Object' is collection of fields of different database tables. T.code
for creating an object is SCDO.
Also:
1. BD61 Active change pointers generally
- Check the checkbox "Change pointers activated -generally"
- Save it
2. BD50 Active change pointers for Message Type
- Message Type Active

How to include Events Concept in Process Chain and how to trigger it

I have Three Process Chains PC1, PC2, PC3 .
I want to trigger there Process Chains by Events .
I want PC1 needs to run every day 7:00am . And once it is finished then PC2 needs to start . And once PC2 is finsihed then PC3 needs to execute .
So please give me step by step process for Process for implementing the Events in this model and give me the steps to include Events concept in my model .

Hi,
You can do this without event also. Schedule PC1 first and then have PC2 as local to your PC1 and PC3 as local to PC2. In that way, as soon as PC1 is done it will trigger PC2 and as soon as PC2 is done it will in turn trigger PC3.
If you want it through an event, first create event in SM62 and you can trigger this event in SM64. Then for the PC1 in start variant, click on select conditions, select After Event and give this event name. Now again its better & efficient to trigger this even automatically, for which you need to write an ABAP program in SE38 and define a variant there. This ABAP program can be scheduled as a background job in SM36, click on Click on step on top. Give program name and variant.Click save.Next click on Start Condition and schedule is as your require it to run. So this background job starts automatically and runs your ABAP program which in turn will trigger your event and PC's will get triggered.
For both the approaches, you have to have PC2 & PC3 as Local chains as I explained above.

After get the order search result in PCUI, when I click the Export button.
It show me the message that : Microsoft office 2003 or higher is not installed on your computer.
In fact, I have the office 2003. And I found that the event for Export button is PCF_DL_EXPORT.

Have you tried double-clicking on the auto complete component in the designer? You should be taken to a method like "autocomplete1_complete". This method is called when the autocomplete gets focus and also for each character typed in the field.

How to create Event for a BO

Hi Experts,
I am developing WF for tcode MD03, this transaction is used to create planned order.
I need to trigger a WF to send mail when ever a Planned order is created using MD03 tcode.
BUS2004 is the BO for Planned order, but this BO does not have any event linked to it. So my question is how to create a event to a BO.
Also, I used BTE to create a Z function module, this FM is getting triggered whenPlanned order is created using MD03 tcode. Is it possible to trigger a WF using this FM?, If yes, how?

Thanks for your useful suggestion.
I placed a breakpoint in the Z FM to check whether the created planned is updated in Plaf table when this FM is triggered. But i found that Plaf table is not updated when the FM is getting triggered.
Do you still recommend me to go ahead and call the WF?

I don't have my linux system handy to debug, but what you want would be something like:
expdp ..... dumpfile=exp_`date`.logThe reverse single quote (I don't know the official term, but it's the character just to the left of the one/exclamation on a US keyboard) tells the shell to substitute the value returned by the command enclosed by the marks. In the example above, it would substitute the value returned by the "date" command. That command has many, many arguments to control the format of what is returned. Look them up an any good nix reference, or just "man date". (As for any good nix reference, you should at a minimum have a copy of "Unix In A Nutshell" on your desk.)

How to Handle Events for JOptionPane buttons?

I need a help...
I am trying to develop a simple SWING application that consists of multiple elements (mainly text fields) and a Submit button. On pressing Submit button, it should validate all the fields and then do something else. But if some fields are left blank, then it should give a pop-up message and on clicking the OK button on the pop-up message, the focus should go to that text field which is left null.
The problem is I am not able to understand how to Capture this OK button click-event of the pop-up message. I mean how to do something when the OK/Cancle button of the pop-up window is clicked.

As already pointed out, JOptionPane has some static methods which show a dialog, and return an int, or a string. The whole point of this class is to remove the need for any event handling by the developer, that is, you simply call the showDialog method or whatever, and it returns a value telling you, for example, which button was pressed - no need for action listeners at all. The result of the showDialog method (or whichever you use) tells you which button was pressed. Check the javadocs for JOptionPane for details of several constants that indicate which button was pressed
The class exists to make simple dialogs trivial to generate - you're overcomplicating things!
