How to INclude TExt Module created in Samrt forms into a text node...?
PLease explain.....ANy suggestions will be appreciated...

Hello Netaji,
IN general attributes, from the drop down menu. I had selected Text Module then It is asking me for the
Name : zxxx(Name of the Text module created in SForm)
Language : ENGLISH
Selected the option - No error if no text exists
- ALways copy style from text module
Then I had clicked on COPY button...Then it is automatically turning into Text Element
It is showing nothing in that Text area. Am I going right?
Please correct me....If I am wrong....I am trying to put this in Text node.
I had created a Text module in the Smart form by selecting the Radio Button in Smart form.
Please help....

a enduser create a word file which contain tables too
but when he enter this text in text field of PO and save it
the tables disappear
The solution to this issue
is that we added the text to attachment of PO header
but if i want to show it in o/P form i'm not getting any text id for it
to use in include of smartforms
this was ma question is der any text id for it?
as of now i hav asked ma enduser to take separte Print out of PO and attached file

I am working with Flash PRO CC v. 14.0. to convert my Flash website to HTML5 / javascript
I have converted a file to the HTML5 Canvas
I am very happy that the new Flash Pro has the feature to convert to HTML5 canvas
HOWEVER:
In my original .FLA file project I use only one font: Copperplate Bold. I use several sizes of that font within the project / scene
In the original file for all text I use static text, Letter spacing, AntiAlias, AutoKern and single line (Linetype)
- none of which the HTML5 canvas seem to allow / support?
How do I maintain the FONT look that I have chosen in my original FLASH project, after I convert to HTML5 canvas?
Is there a way in the HTML canvas to maintain the FONT look that I want?
HTML5 canvas will not allow Font embedding
The device font destroys the LOOK of my Copperplate Bold font.

* AutoKern is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been removed in an instance of Text.
* Frame Scripts have been commented
* LetterSpacing is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to 0.0 in an instance of Text.
* LineType is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to MultiLineNoWrap in an instance of Text.
* Some artwork contains Hairline stroke, which is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to Solid.
* StaticText is not supported in HTML5 Canvas document, and has been converted to DynamicText in an instance of Text.
New HTML Canvas Document created.
NOTE: So far the only way I have been able to maintain the font look is to convert the fonts to .png files

Even then I still get a WARNING when I test my scene - (no doubt because I left the original FONT text in guide layers)

Content with both Bitmaps and Buttons may generate local security errors in some browsers if run from the local file system.

We have ATG 10.1.2 knowledge and self service module with some project specific custom module on Production UNIX machine.
I have installed ATG 10.1.2 on local machine(Windows 7 64 bit) for development purpose.
1> If I copy custom module from the unix machine and paste it in my local windows machine and generate EAR, will it work?
2> How to include the custom module in eclipse for development activity.

when the jsp page is loaded for the first time it contains a select box containg names created by a taglib.but there is a feature i want to add wherein though javascript the name selectebox will keep on coming on each row i want to add. and this is row addition and deletion is being handled by the javascript. there i encounter the bug how to interact the javascript with taglib so tha with each row addition i will have populated taglib created select box on each row.

u can't do that.
only one way also add 'subject to :' in standared text than display standared text.
one more way just store text in variable and use this variable in smartforms.

Normally when we display stard text , we will be either using "read text" function module or will be using include.To display a strd text in chinese it should be maintained in chinese language (SO10-please see whether Std text is maintained in chinese by giving TEXT name, TEXT ID and Language).and when we use "read text" or "include " we will specify the language also in that.
or u can include the standard text with INCLUDE statement and LANGUAGE <> ..
( LANGUAGE is one of the patameters of the include stmt.)
then the text will get printed in chinese language if it is maintained in chinese language

How to include text file in classes directory of war file.

I have a project that uses a text file called cache.ccf (JCS configuration file) when debugging the webservices, I have to dig into the inflated war file directory and manually place the cache.ccf file in the WEB-INF/classes/ directory/
How can i have JDeveloper wrap the file up in the war file in the WEB-INF/classes directory. both for debugging and when the war file is actually built for deployment.

Nevermind, I figured it out using the Project Properties->Deployment and include it in the WEB-INF/classes

yes this is possible.
you will have to pass this parameters under function module called READ_TEXT for desired output.
NAME = MVKE-MATNR & MVKE-VKORG & MVKE-VTWEG - to read for which sales orgn/distribution channel/division you have to pass the value.
LANGUAGE = 'EN' - in which language you have to pass the same.
ID = 0001
OBJECT = MVKE - table
if both are there
material description and material sales text then
you have to write a condition there.

After Effects is often used to create lower thirds and TV show intros.
I can't see your example due to restrictions on the network where I work, but you might look into AE's quite powerful text animators.

Prompts can originate from one of two places: either via Designer and using the @prompt functionality or while creating the report building a prompt in the Query Filters panel. If the prompt was built using the @prompt method, and all 10-12 reports are using that particular @prompt, then one change via Designer will cause all reports to reflect the new verbiage. If you built the 10-12 reports using the prompt in the second scenario, then each individual report needs to be opened, modified and then saved. If you must use the latter method, then you can open the first report, modify the prompt verbiage, then highlight the new verbiage with your mouse and hit Control-C (which copies that text to the Clipboard of your Windows system). Then go to the second report, locate the verbiage that needs to be changed, delete it, then Control-V (which pastes), and voila, some keyboarding strokes are saved....

How to include text items in a block...urgent please.

I have one form, basically at the first level, it in turns calls other forms too. However, I have add two columns i.e. sales_no, and date_closed at job level. The form is at project level. When the user apply ENTER_QUERY mode on project, then all the projects already closed should display sales_no and date_closed otherwise leave them bank. Project comes from project_master and sales_no, date_closed comes from job and both are linked via project_no, and entity. Could anyone help please?

You have my thanks for your reply and then let me explain the stuff I am doing. The method you have suggested, I am already applying the same techniques. The items are there in the block along with other items. However, when I add my two text items which comes from another table which has relationship with the table being used by the block, though the block is couple of other inter-related tables too. Now when I add my text items I dont apply any triggers, but when I run the form it gives me error, invalid field item. My question is where I can add the triggers for the two items, and how can it be successfully embedded inside the block. I dont know if that makes sense. I'll appreciate your help in this matter. I know that you can add a "File" object against a Java project (right click on project: New -> File).
Is this possible with WebDynpro? In other words, can I add a Text file "object" against my DC? I need such a File because I need to store text values in it that I read in my View Contoller.
Any suggestions?

Select the Navigator view --select the dc --right click --new --other --general --- here u will get the option .
Note : put your file only under src--make one folder say util and then put your file here.

In smartform there are three text types:
Text element : to enter new text in the PC editor
Text module : to include a text module
 Include text : to include an existing SAPscript text
The texts are displayed in the form using text nodes. The only exceptions are addresses. This uses its own node. The predecessor node of the text node determines its use:
Predecessor node Used to
Sub window Position text on one or more pages
Main window Display text in relation to other nodes in the main window,
 it may cover several pages
Template Displays texts for table cells of a static table
Table Display table contents
Header and footer Display column headings and grand totals in tables
Event node Display subtotals in a table
Including text modules:
Text module of the text node is used to refer to an existing text module in the system. The text modules can be used in two ways:
STEPS :
1) Refer to the text module. The text then appears read-only in the PC editor and
 is included when the form is printed.
2) Copy the text module. The system then copies the text of the module and
 automatically converts the text node into an editable text element.
3) To create a text node , call the context menu for that node in the tree
 structure that shall contain the text and choose create->text
4) Enter a unique name for the node and a description
5) On the general attributes tab select the text type text module
6) Enter the name of the text module in the text name field
