How to invoke the FileUpload field click event without clicking on the browse button?

The Fileupload field click() method works in IE, but not in firefox. Can someone provide some details on this issue?

  • How to invoke the softKeyboard for a TLF textfield in AS3?

    Hi,
    I need to use a TLF textfield in a Flash mobile app.
    How to invoke the softKeyboard on mobile devices for such a TLF textfield? I tried it the way below, but it's not showing up:
    import flash.ui.Keyboard;
    import flash.events.KeyboardEvent;
    import flash.events.SoftKeyboardEvent;
    chat.needsSoftKeyboard = true
    chat.requestSoftKeyboard()
    (I can't use a "classic textfield" for a couple of reasons)
    Any tips welcome

    If you had something like this :
    <FORM name="checkform">
    <input type="text" name="myText" size="5">
    <select size="1" name="select" onChange="check()">
    <option value="1">Number1
    <option value="2" selected>Number2
    </select>
    </FORM>Your javascript funtion would look like this :
    <script language="JavaScript">
    function check() {
         if (this.checkform.select.options[this.checkform.select.selectedIndex].value == "1") {
              this.checkform.myText.size = "20"
         } else {
              this.checkform.myText.size = "5"
    </script>Note the names of the form (checkform) and the input field (myText).

  • How to handle the 'folder button' in the path command throug Event loop ?

    Hi everybody.
    Again a stupid question but I can't find the answer.
    My VI has a dynamic event loop, to execute the right code depending on user action.
    Everything is working well but now I wish to do the following :
    I use a 'path command' with the path entry (like for text) and the folder button.
     the user click on the path entry     ->   something A happens.
     the user click on the folder button  ->   something B happens.
    As the folder button and the path entry are the same command, how to differenciate those two events in the event structure ?
    Maybe there is a value in the node, but I can't find it ...
    Thanks for helping !

    You can't do exactly what you are wanting to do. The problem is that you can't trigger an action based on clicking the browse button. To implement that you will need to hide the browse button that LV creates and put down a button of your own that you can then track and respond to independently.
    Mike...

  • When a context node use non-singleton, how to invoke the supply funtion eve

    when a context node use non-singleton, how to invoke the supply funtion everytime the lead selection is changed ?

    Hi wei,
    <b>Non-singleton nodes:</b>
    Web Dynpro allows you to define non-singleton nodes. Each non-singleton node has one node instance for each node element of the parent collection at runtime. The advantage is that each instance can be accessed directly. When using non-singleton nodes, the nodes are only created when the node values are retrieved. This can save resources that otherwise would slow down the performance of the application.
    <b>Supply function:</b>
    The Web Dynpro tools also automatically enhance the corresponding controller class with a supply function including the user coding area contained in it
    Supply functions are implemented as methods of type
    <b>public void supplyChildNodeElements(SomeChildNode node,
                                        SomeParentNodeElement)</b>
    in a Web Dynpro controller (view controller or custom controller). Supply functions and context nodes have a 1..1 relationship, that is, supply functions are specific for individual context nodes. Under certain conditions, supply functions are called by pages in the Web Dynpro runtime environment.
    Hope this helps u,
    Regards,
    Nagarajan.

  • How to invoke the BSP application without invoking url in browser

    Hi Experts,
    I have a BSP URL link
    'https://css.wdf.sap.corp/sap/bc/bsp/sap/itsm_gui/cssguinote.htm?pointer=' . I execute this link and application gets invoked in SAP GUI as required.
    But I have a problem. On Executing the link , first the browser gets invoked with the given url and then the application gets started.
    I dont want to invoke the browser but just start the application in SAP GUI.
    Is there any way I can identify the transaction from the BSP link so that I can call directly .
    Regards,
    Ajaya Rama Raju.Singa

    Hi,
    it seems like you want to run your BSP application in SAP and not in the browser. For that you have to write a small programme, since there´s no transaction assigned to the BSP.
    You have to work with classes cl_gui_custom_container (container ón your Dynpro) and cl_gui_html_viewer (HTML viewer inside the container).
    As a third step you have to call your application with class cl_bsp_runtime and its method construct_bsp_url for building the URL in SAP. The last step is to call the URL in the HTML viewer.
    There are examples of code in SDN.

  • HOW TO MAKE THE SAVE BUTTON IN GREY MODE IN QA32 INTIAL SCREEN

    Dear friends,
    How to make the save button , in the tcode QA32  intial screen in GREY MODE.
    As  i don't want the screen variant created by me should not be seen by the user.

    Hi
    There is one option ,You can protect yor varient but not hide it.
    To protect>QA32>Mydefault>Varient Attibute>click on protect varient.
    If you select the field Protect variant, the variant can only be changed by the person who created it or last changed it.
    I hope this can be one of the solution

  • I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.

    Hello everybody. I am a web designer (NOT a developer)
    I created a form and I'm not sure how to make the 'submit' button send me the collected information.
    I have used phpform.org/ to custom build a submission form. Then I opened that html in dreamweaver (so that I could edit colors, fonts, and delete the phpform.org advetisement)
    Now I need to link the 'submit button' so that it will e-mail me the completed form.
    (formphp.org wants me to subscribe to a servie that I pay for in order to have the form e-mailed to myself.)
    (after I get the submit button linked to an e-mail I will pull the html of my completed form into Muse- but I don't think that is really relevent)
    I'm sure one of you can help point me in the right direction! I can't write my own code so detailed help is appreciated!

    I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
    You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder.  Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
         <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
    The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
    I'm  assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code.  Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names.  It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

  • How to Enable the SAVE button in the Menu Bar of the Invoice Document.

    Hi.
    How to Enable the SAVE button in the Menu Bar of the Invoice Document as it is disabled for me.
    I would like to save the Invoice document in PDF  format.
    Regards
    Irfan

    Hi,
    Normally, for the archiving or generation of the invoice document in PDF format is handled by maintaining the output records through VV31/VV32 with the relevant printer, storage mode ( 3- print and archive or 2- archive only ), no. of messages ( means no of copies ) in the communication method.
    Then when you click the print button through VF03 in the print options pop-up you get a print at the physical printer and at the same time an archived copy ( PDF copy ) attached with the document.
    So, please make sure the output records are fine to allow a PDF copy generated and then try to print and check in VF03 by entering into the billing document.
    Hope this helps you.
    However, from the print preview you normally would not be allowed to save or print.
    Regards,
    Ram
