JSF components cannot be bound to managed bean in a pageFlow scope because they are not serializable. Instead you pin the component state.
Now to your question:
What is the content that doesn't refresh? Is it the values? If so, where is the value coming from - same managed bean ?

i recently have purchased an iphone 6 and am loving it. Ive set up my icloud account and realized it is nice having my photos automatically uploaded to my icloud photo folder on my pc. I am just wondering if there is any way i can put a password or lock this folder because i share my pc with my younger siblings and can have personal photos that i want to keep private. Any help would be greatly appreciated

As Léonie wrote Aperture can add a watermark file to an image on export but I find its ability to do so limited.
Another option is the free plugin BorderFX . It has a lot of capabilities that are very useful when using Aperture. Even if you decide not to use it for this you should check it out.

modify. If 'exclusive', when you lock the record, other can neither
read nor modify the record. After save and activate, you will get two
function module.'ENQUEUE_EXXXX' to lock record,
'DEQUEUE_EXXXX' to release lock on one record.
When use this function module it only lock one record at a time. It
does not lock the table.

Our regular photographer send us images that, unlike before, are now locked in rights and sharing. This means that we have to lock up every photo separately with the admin code and it takes time.
Recent pictures from him came with read and write permissions. He says he has not done anything different than before.
Could it be that there is a setting in our mac / photoshop which causes this?

I am having the same problems as this person. I see that someone said there is no way to retrieve the pictures once it gets stuck in recovery mode.
Then further along someone said that there are data retrieval methods except they have something to do with jail breaking a phone.
My phone is already jail broken. It was kind of a gift from the company I work for- it was a fellow employees before. He jail broke it and then it was given to me. After I got it I activated the 4 and tried to back up everything. It didn't work and "Springboard" forced the phone into safety mode. So I could use it with the old dude's apps and my contacts. I made the mistake of using the phone for wedding dress shopping with a friend. I took tons of pictures.
After this I found out the messages I was seeing meant it was jail broken. At&t said to force restore the phone - iTunes wouldn't recognize it in safety mode. I'm an idiot and didn't realize what this meant for my pictures. It didn't work (error 1611) - thankfully. Now it is stuck in recovery mode (iTunes icon and USB cable picture).
Can I access that media in any way? It never suceeded restoring itself so is it still there? The phone is jail broken already so is there a method I can use?

I hope I am not right but there is no option of using the description/caption for a photo in my iPhoto library when I share it with other people in a photo stream?
All I found was that you can use the comment field to add a caption-like text to each photo. But when I create a slideshow within iPhoto I then cannot use this comment text as a caption for the slideshow. This is completely useless to me as I would have to copy all my captions from the description field to the comment field to show them in a shared photo stream. Who at Apple came up with that idea? I might be wrong but isn't the caption feature one of the most important features when you share photos with other people? How should a fried know what a shared photo shows if I cannot add a descriptive caption to it?

there is no way to add captions, only the comments box in the Shared Stream.

The only textual annotation that can be streamed as part of the metadata of the shared photo is the filename (or EXIF tags you added to the file in your camera or with other programs, like the copyright notice). So, to transfer a caption with your streamed photo, replace the filename by a caption. You can do that in iPhoto by exporting your photos using "File > Export" and selecting "Filename > Use Title" in the export panel. This will use your current titles as the filenames. Then reimport the exported photos and share the reimported photos with the changed filenames. You can delete the reimported files from the library after sharing them, but don't delete them from the stream.
