How to log a query or ticket to SAP on SAP support Portal - need process

I got SAP support portal user id and password. Can anybody guide me how to log a ticket or query on some issue to SAP.
Pls let me knwo how to search help notes to. Explain me in steps pls.

Hello exper,
Can you tell me that incase i have to log a request for a client server then how i will do that.
I am simply facing a problem in PPOME transaction where a tab for IT 1005 planned compensation has been added but it is not showing any input fields there. However we tried the same configuation in Sandpit server and it is working fine.
Incase i have to log this is to SAP for help, do i have to follow the same path to do it.

Yes, the overloading of the term "Process" can be confusing. In SI, depending on your edition of StreamInsight, a process can run on one or more threads from a pool of threads and are scheduled together. Don't think of a process necessarily as a single
thread or multiple processes as a method of multi-threading.
As for a limit on the number of queries, there isn't a hard limit that I'm aware of. However, there will be a practical limit that will vary based on the complexity of the query, the event rate and your hardware (# of cores). If you are using Standard Edition,
this limit is much smaller as you only have a single scheduler thread. With Premium Edition, you have a scheduler thread for each core on the machine so you can get higher throughput and lower latency. But if you have, say, 4 cores on the machine (don't count
hyperthreaded cores, just real cores), 100 queries and a target throughput of 100K events/second, you'll likely have some problems. At 1K events/sec, you'd likely be fine though. With 32 cores and Premium Edition, you'd probably be OK with 100K events/sec.
So ... like I said, it depends.

How to log SSL Handshaking

How do I log SSL Handshaking? I saw refer to a ssl_engine_log, but I cant find one on my server.
HTTP Server 10g(10.1.3.1.0)

I am using OHS 2.0. The SSL communication is in the ErrorLog. I see logs when my server acts as the server, but not when it acts a client.
How do log communication when my server is the client in the SSL authenication process?
I hope this makes sense, because I am bad when it comes to explaining things :-)

Can any body help me about the log of user access to a Bex 3.5 query ? We want to learn which users access to query designer and make changes on queries. The query designer only give us the last user who access to query. Is there a transaction or something that we can see this information.

Hi,
as Daan said, set the variable in Advanced tab but not on loglevel..
because, our problem is to bypass the bi-server cache.
Do this:
1. Go to Advanced tab.
2. In Prefix field(scroll down to see this field) , enter this:
SET DISABLE_CACHE_HIT = 1;
Note: Make sure that you're ended up above statement with semicolon and do not click on Set SQL option...
3. Save report, then run it..
4. After you see the query, i recommend you to take take out that prefix tag then save it again..

Also when I tried to update my MYSQL connector / J driver to version 5.1.5 from 5.0.5 (NB 5.5.1) and 5.0.7 (NB 6.1), I could not get it work (looooong time to search some JDBC classes and with no response in the end) on both of my Netbean 5.5.1(on PC) and Netbean 6.1(on laptop) IDEs.
Could anybody look into this issue.

How do I create a kerberos ticket using coldfusion

I have 3 apps on our intra net that require authentication and would like to use kerberos to accomplish this. This is my set up.
users log in to the network and authenticate via active directory (all windows based) , Our web apps are on a box running solaris 10, weblogic app server, cf 9 and oracle 11g. A group of our web apps on this sever require users to authenticate through oracle (not the web / app server).
I can authenticate with kerberos via a putty session on the server with no problems.
USEING COLDFUSION, how do i request a kerberos ticket and pass the necessary credentials to authenticate.?
can this be done.?
I am looking for a CODE SAMPLE OF HOW DO THIS IN A UNIX environment NOT WINDOWS.
I appologize for the frustrated tone of this post. However, after a week of reading documentation til my eyes bleed, to end up chasing my tail with no truly help info............

How to check the logs for query changes. Means which user has done what change.In properties we get the last user only.
Is there any way to check the full history of changes?
Can we change that in some transport request?

There is no such facilities available to find, which user has done what changes in the query. you can only get the last changed 's user name of query. in transport request also you cannot change the query.
To add, check out this:
Tcode SQ01>select 'Environement' from the menu>Directories>All Queries
in the popup window, select a query and click on 'Display' button. you would get some useful information about that query

You have different options to create messages in test component SV-SMG-SUP-TST:
1. if you are on 7.1 you can create message using CRM_UI
2. If you are using lower vrsion then either you can create message using Workcenter or using transaction NOTIF_CREATE or using menu --> Help --> Create support message.

How to log a specific error in OIM

I am trying to implement a logging mechanism in OIM, using log4J.
So far, I can log without problem in an oracle database.
What I need, this moment, is the capability of logging adapters errors. For example, I am logging a pre-update event, producing something like this in my database log: "Login: xpto; ". So far, so good.
However, sometimes I got an error while trying to import a user to OIM. For example:

I would like to be able to log these informations, in my log:

Where I would have to put my logger to get this kind of information?

OIM comes with OOTB logging capabilities.

Hi Pankaj,
In your init method try this code to create the logger:
ILogger logger = PortalRuntime.getLogger("testLog");
In your logger.xml the logger name was testLog and not com.persistent.pankaj so while creating logger you should use testLog in the above code.
By default all the logs are written to defaultTrace.log files, to check them read this:

If you want to log in a seperate logfile then you should set a seperate log destination, which is not recommended on productive systems due to performance problems.

They suggest setting the router to: No 802.11 Ac on Home Hub 5.
Now, I know what I need to do, but how do it do it?!
I don't know even how to log into my router! Can you help?

Then it find a networks, then it drops, then it finds it again. it's a pain. I think it has gotten worse since I uptated the system from Snow Leopard to Maverick. Any suggestions? Anyone else with this problem?

Hi there,
It sounds to me like you could have a corrupt network preferences file.
Here's what I suggest you do:
1. Open System preferences from the dock icon.
2. Navigate to Network and open that pane.
3. Click on Wi-Fi, in the left hand pane and highlight it.
4. Click the minus button at the bottom of the pane to remove Wi-Fi from the list.
5. Click Apply.
6. Click on the plus button and select "Wi-Fi" from the drop down list.
7. Click Apply.
8. Quit System preferences.
You should now have effectively reset your Wi-Fi interface. Now try connecting to your wireless network again and (hopefully) everything should work as expected.
