How to logon to the Career Center using you SCN username and password

We all know how painful it is to have to create yet another username and password for a site, well for the Career Center you don't have to. We are working to have single sign on between SCN and the Career Center but until that time or if you navigate directly to the Career Center site you can log on using your SCN username and password via OpenID. Here is how.
First, ensure you have set an OpenID username in your SCN profile.
Then go to the Career Center http://scncareercenter.jobtarget.com and click
"Access Your Job Seeker Account" for job seekers OR
"Access Your Employer Account" for employers
At the bottom of the login box, besides "Have an OpenID?" click on the "Sign In" link
In the box type
http://openid.sap.com/your_open_id_name_from_your_SCN_profile
and click Login.
You will be taken to another page on SCN requesting you to login (if you haven't already) and finally approve the JobTarget OpenId login request.
Viola, you are then brought to your personal account on the Career Center. If this is your first time use, you may need to fill out some necessary pieces for the Career Center account profile.
Update 24.08.09: We are having some intermittent OpenID issues, will update the post when it is resolved

Now, can you sign into your YouTube account from the YouTube page?
If so, then you can Export/Share from PrE, for YouTube, and just upload from the main YouTube page, while you troubleshoot the issue with PrE and YouTube - so all is not lost.

You are getting this message because you are attempting to create an iCloud account on a PC. You can only create iCloud account on an iOS device (iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch) running iOS 5 or higher, or on a Mac running OS X Lion (10.7.2) or higher. After creating your account on one of these devices you will then be able to sign into the account on your PC.

I don't think we can login Office 365 OWA using url embedding username and password.
The post you found may be a way to login OWA 2010. As mentioned in the post you provided, we need to use code to support with the URL
https://yourserver.yourdomain.com/owa/?un=yourusername&pw=yourpassword#sthash.cuiZTz5Y.dpuf, not just a simple
URL.
There is a location in the blog you mentioned:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\ClientAccess\Owa\auth\logon.aspx
It's a location on a computer which installed Exchange server. As stated in the blog, we need to insert the code into the logon.aspx
file and then login OWA with the URL.
However, for Office 365 OWA which uses a cloud based server, we can do nothing to change the logon.aspx file for Office 365 OWA. That's why I don't think we can do the trick.

Getting into Avenue5Consulting members only area, I mistakenly used my other username and password. A message came up asking if I wanted to save it and I pressed yes. This didn't open the site, but brought me back to login page. Realizing that I logged in with erroneous username and password, I checked and logged in again with the right username and password, but these were not accepted. Please help! I need to get back to the site to finish my homework!

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Using url with username and password in URL class

Hi,
I'm writting an applet in which I use getAppletContext().showDocument with an URL.
The problem is that I'm using URLs with username and password (http://user:[email protected]/page) and it isn't working because the browser is getting the URL http://user/page.
Is this a bug in the URL class? Or in the showDocument method?
Is there any way to make this work?

I'm not sure whether this is supported behaviour. I've had this syntax fail to work in the Netscape address bar so I can't recommend it as an approach for authentication.
If you want to authenticate the user before redirecting to the page, though, you could try creating a connection to another page on the same server and sending the authorization information then. Your browser may then be successfully authenticated.

Use the Apple ID support -> http://www.apple.com/support/appleid/ - click through the contact information and select the iTunes, etc., hot button. You can have Apple call you or email them.

You do not have access to the printer. use a different username and password - is there a fix?

Purchased this last night. Difficulty installing and now able to install. Get to the part where you need to put in your username and password. Then I get the you don't have access to printer error. my username and password is correct as I can sign in just fine.

How do I change a previously saved (in Firefox) online username and password that has now changed?

I try to navigate to the login OR homepage of a password protected site and it sends me into a loading loop or "invalid user name" error page (depending on which portal I attempt to enter through). How do I reset the username and password saved in Firefox? I tried deleting the sites and associated passwords in the security options tab already and it hasn't worked.

Click the document name at the top of the Pages window and choose Browse Versions. See if any of your late changes are there. Also, use Finder to search for files with a similar name, since it's possible that your latest changes were made to a copy of the document and you may be able to find that copy if that's the case.

This could be a couple different things.
     The device is not authorized to the Apple ID.
         Continue setup for the ID on the device.
There is an account issue
        Is she able to get signed in at
               Appleid.apple.com
                   and manage the account
Can she get signed in at
Supportprofile.apple.com ?
         How many devices are registered to that Apple ID?

Can you set username and password when using OWA_UTIL.REDIRECT_URL?

If you have a PSP that runs under a DAD that includes username and password and therefore doesn't require users to log in and you want it to do OWA_UTIL.REDIRECT_URL to another PSP that runs under another DAD that normally requires login using basic database authentication and the first PSP already "knows" the user's username and password, is there any way to use them to skip the login dialog of the second page? Maybe hack into the request and use UTL_HTTP.SET_AUTHENTICATION somehow...?

That doesn't seem to work, and trying that kind of url directly from the browser says "invalid syntax error", so maybe Oracle appserver just doesn't let you do that.
I got the idea of trying to add an authorization header:

I changed the code for saving usernames and passwords, it didn't work, so I restored a backup of the code I had made, now usernames and passwords don't work at all. Help?

I found a method online to force firefox to save usernames and passwords which the site itself requested not to be saved. I made a backup of the file on my hard drive, moved it to the desktop, changed the code and tried it. It didn't work as expected so, I deleted that file, returned the original file to it's appropriate place and restarted firefox. Now it won't save ANY passwords or user names, even on sites it previously did so. I've tried reinstalling over the existing copy, and would REALLY prefer not to uninstall/reinstall since I have a ton of bookmarks, addons etc, which I don't want to have to restore. Has anyone encountered this issue? or have a suggestion on how to fix it?

Do you still see names and passwords in the Password Manager?
Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
You can still reinstall Firefox. Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Firefox Profile Folder] and won't be affected.

I am a US citizen in school in Montreal and I was given a US Apple Store gift card. How can I buy the new iPad using my gift card and with a school discount?

I am a grad student from NYC and at a university in Montreal. I was given a 500$ gift card as a gift to put towards a new ipad. BUT, I apparently cannot use the US gift card in Canada. So, what do I do? I have no time to head back to NYC to get it. I want to order it, but not sure they will ship to montreal...? And was thinking of sending it back to my parents and then have them buy it and mail it to me, but I I think them having to pay tax on this is ridiculous. On top of that, I should be able to garner the ed discount but I dont think the US recognizes Canadian schools in their system and visa versa. SO if I do buy it in the US, I can use my gift card but I can't get the discount. Or if I buy it here in MTL, I can get the discount but I cannot use the gift card..

You can only use a gift card in the country it was issued in - no way around that as the Apple Store does NOT offer currency exchange with gift cards.
Nor can you order from the USA online store and ship to any address outside of the USA - again, no way around that as the online stores do NOT ship internationally.
You could send the gift card back to someone in the USA, to use to purchase your item for you, and then once they receive it, they could ship it to you. Canada customs will hold it until they collect any import fees and taxes levied on imported consumer electronics though.
Either that or buy it in Canada with the discount, and use the card later when you get home again.

Why did you start a new itunes account? This will just cause problems.
Your library will only be where you put it.
It has alwasys been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for this very occasion.
If for some reason you have failed to maintain a backup, not good at all, then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries:
