How to make announcements in packaged application On Line Discussion Forum?

Hi,
After logging as ADMIN I have posted a thread and selected the radio button Announcement.
But the thread seems to behave as a normal thread, not as an announcement.
Have I missed something ?

I think I've found a couple small bugs in the Discussion Forum application.
You can't post a new message or a reply from the preview pages (26 and 28).
The value 'test' is hardcoded in the insert statement in the position of a numeric column.
Is this application going to be moved back to SourceForge? It looks easy to fix.

I'd suggest using Flash Media Interactive Server if you wish to make this type of application and use Flash as the interface. I can't give you the details on exactly how to implement it, but using Remote Shared Object and FMIS would serve as the basis. I believe that the package comes with examples of Shared Objects that can serve as a simple basis from which to proceed. After that you might want to see if you can find an available whiteboard app that can be leveraged to do as you wish.
I apologize in advance if using this type of solution is a non-starter, I've been using FMIS locally and have plans to eventually implement something similar to this type of drawing app as well.

How to make a ARCH package from local folder?

hello ARCH lovers
I can't seem to figure out how to make a installable
package from a folder on my desktop?
Coming from Slackware; the procedure would be simple enough just issuing
"makepkg /root/pkgname.txz"
Now; how would I do the same in ARCH?
I know about PKGBUILD, etc but there is no source or any url's
I just need to make it into a .pkg.tar.xz
The package is my "kernel-live-kit" for both x86 and x86_64 versions of arch
enabling one to remaster there existing install into a livecd/usb, etc
The kernel itself is kernel26-zen from AUR

however; mine is quite different and also includes all components to make the livecd using modified linux-live-6.3.0
scripts and special stuff
The pkg includes a premade kernel with modules and full kernel source
The resulting live media is similar to my nFluxOS builds

As I will be releasing the new four horsemen of nFluxOS today; I also made 4 Kernel pkg's for the arch and slack versions
Those will be for x86/x86_64 versions for both arch and slackware
I did this in lieu of creating a quartet of x86_64 versions of nFluxOS; as that would up the number of versions to 8
and I would then have to maintain 8 distro's instead of 4.
I made a testing version of ARCH x86_64 live

so, I really need to make the ARCH x86 and x86_64 kernel kits into installable pkg's because there are many symlinks that would get corrupted if I just tarred it and then the end user untars it and copies it somewhere it would mess up the symlinks.
as I said, in slackware I do makepkg and it creates a script named "doinst.sh" that makes all the symlinks, etc

By the way, it's not hard. Out of all the distributions I've used, Arch Linux is the only one I've figured out how to make packages for.

How to make report with access 2010 from SharePoint Discussion lists 2013

I want to make an access report from SharePoint Discussion lists 2013. When i open the list with access, the body of the list is in HTML format in access. Also if i reply something to one subject in the discussion, the reply is not mapped to that subject
but instead it is shown as a separate entry in the database.
Anyone can please help?

The video clip is a single screen capture video clip. This is what I've found by playing around with this more.
The original clip resolution is greater than 640x480. If I use QT Pro to convert the original clip to 640x480 and then use either Flip4Mac or PE7, then the resolution looks good.
Just trying to figure out if should keep all workflow on the MacOS side. There are several different version of Flip4Mac. $49 gives me 640x480, but if I ever want to make it slightly larger then I would need to go with the $99 or HD version.
I also tried to export to AVI with QT Pro and the import with Windows MovieMaker but it didn't work really good. I liked the simplicity (since PE7 hogs a lot of resources especially through VMWare).

How can I make a Business Package out of that so that 3rd party can use it.
When we deploy CAF project 6 ear files are created and after that we make a WebDynPro Model and also one ear corresponding to that is also deployed.
So what I have to do to make a Business Package out of this application so that 3rd party can use it.

So you need a EPA for portal content and create SDA out of your EAR files.
So your Business Package has one EPA file and one SDA file.

How to make a small finance application in oracle?

I am an oracle dba but one of my friend's asked me to make a small finance application for his company which can use small calculation/accounts. I know plsql and some understanding for Forms etc . where should i start? please note that logical design of database is done. Making database and tables etc is not issue for me. The issue is how to design front end and what tools to use?
An other query is. if he can use this application free on oracle or he has to buy some licence from oracle. please note that he is running a very samll charity organization?

How to make my SSIS package execute successfully, even when there is no input feed file which is actually expected.

Currently I am running a SSIS package scheduled daily at 7 A.M. It expects two feed files from two different folders.
The first step in my package will rename the input files in those folders to names which the package can understand. I have created two variables in my package to read the files with those file names. I used these variables in connection managers.
If any of these folders doesn't have input files when the package runs, the package will fail. Can someone please let me know how to make the package the run successfully even there is no input feed?

Why not add a check to see if filecount > 0 from the folder. ANd only if it exists do the next set of tasks ie rename + other processing.
For this you can use a logic like below

Then link the output of this script task to your rename task using conditional precedence constraint usig Expression and Constriant option. Set Constraint as OnSuccess and Expression as below

Sorry that I still got problem on importing and make use of the class for knowledgemanagement. I can found the cooresponding .jar file in folder "jakarta-tomcat-3.3.2\webapps\irj\WEB-INF\plugins\portal\services\knowledgemanagement\lib". And added the services reference as "ServicesReference=htmlb, knowledgemanagement". However, I still can't use the class for KM.
I have read those code sample from KM in SDN, but they are mentioning the programming part and not the setting. Can you suggest the detail steps and code on adding the KM class into my customize class?
I am using Eclipse as my development tools.

The update for the online disuccion forum is available since two days.
I´m using the first version, and I´m wondering how to install this update. If I follow the installation-instructions, I will loose all my data (?).
How have I to migrate to this new release ?

How to make a Input Field with multiple lines?

hey folks,
i need to make a popup window or a dynpro with 2 input fields, where the user can write on multiple lines. why isnt there such an input field in the screen painter? how can i make this? if i can do this with a dynpro it would be nice but a popup with that feature would be better. didnt found any infos anywhere except for that thread, but its answer didnt work with my dynpro:

I use JDeveloper editor, worked hard to find the neccessary configuration but I failed. I also inserted ...... WEB-INF/classes into my classath but it didn't work.
So, could anybody tell me the main concept of introducing packages and class files to a web server ?

I don't know if your error is about a missing class from your custom package, ... what track did you followed to say that?
To use your package in the implementation of you web service, you should only follow the rules of making a web application: put your package jar in your \lib directory inside WEB-INF/ or your package classes unjared in classes (also in WEB-INF/).
As I already said, I have doubts that your error should be originated from a missing class from your package, but:
-try to see the logs (errors?) when you deploy your web service that could give a hint about the problem.
-try to see if you can access your endpoint through your browser to see if there is a online status
-display your config/WSDL file, and the steps you did to build your web service.
