How to make Barcode Size double.

Hi,
I need to print Barcode with double size to existing Size.
In SE71, in Character Formats, There is no Size Specification is there. Cient requirement is to make the Barcode Double.
We are using RSNUM Barcode. In SE73, SAP is not allowing to create a new barcode or change the existing Barcode.
How can we make the BARCODE size double. What are the prerequisites that needs to be considered.

Do like below .
GO to Tcode SE73
Choose System Bar Code and press Change
Form the list choose your Barcode.
Double Click on it..Pop Up will show the existing Dimensions
Change them as per ur need ( Height and width will be available )
It needsTR ..Save
And job is done ,

an undo tablespace is simply a tablespace where Oracle decides how many RBS's to create
and how big they should grow to.
Under the covers -- it is still JUST ROLLBACK SEGMENTS -- no different. It is just that
WE decide how many and how big instead of you.
If you have an undo retention period that is very small, there is nothing to motivate us
to extend an rbs -- hence you have the same problem. You want to up the undo retention.
Bear in mind that this parameter (retentation) is a SUGGESTION from you to us. It'll not
cause us to "blow out" undo space - if you constrain us to x megabytes -- we'll stop.

How to make components' size constant?

I have a newbie question for you. How to make the size of components (button, combobox, etc...) constant? I mean they keep the same size as the users change window's size.

You need to use a layout manager that respects the minimum and maximum size of the components and set the minimum and maximum sizes to be the size that you want the component to be. FlowLayout respects minimum and maximum, and so does BoxLayout. BorderLayout and GridLayout don't respect the min or max sizes. You can usually get what you want with a combination of layout managers. If you gave me a better idea of how you want to layout your components, and what you want the resizing behavior to be, then I could give you some more specific recommendations about the layouts you should use.
Try making some ascii drawings.

How to make barcode interface with SAP B1

Hi all,
I need an interface code to make an interface between barcode printer with SAP B1. i got a scenario from the barcode people. that they are using EPL coding only for Barcode printer print, there they need to run this EPL code in Dos mode, for that .bat file is needed. hope you might got some idea that how a barcode printer is working. now how to make an interface of SAP B1 with Barcode printer.
how to generate a code which will put the bar code and price with the AP invoice of the item in EPL code which is in a text format. so that by .bat format txt file should be run in dos mode.
if you have any other process to run the EPL code, kindly send me the details as soon as possible....its very urgent.

I think what you may be more concerned about, rather than the printer "language" (ZPL, EPL, etc...) is the symbology that you require for barcodes. Like 3of9, code 128, etc.
The standard B1 PLD will input a barcode image for whatever field you specify, but only in a couple of symbologies. The Advanced Layout Designer apparently supports a lot more. I have read that it may be requested from you partner, or if on 2007, it is part of the standard install.
B1 should pass the bar code to the printer, where the printer's language will decode and print it out. Bypass the .bat file, bypass DOS, let B1 do it.

How to make Image/size/resolution agree with metadata resolution?

After scanning the help file a bit and searching thru this forum a bit with `metadata resolution' as search criteria, I'm still pretty confused about how it is supposed to work.. I may have never actually found the right part of the help file.
Cutting to the chase: How can I make the resolution reported by the metadata tab for resolution agree with what is reported inside photoshop at Image/size resolution. I didn't see any way to set how res is reported in bridge.
I see many pictures reported in metadata as 72 ppi for resolution and reported in photoshop as 200 pixel/inch
They do BOTH mean pixels per inch right? If so, or really even if they don't how can I get the two reports to show the same resolution?
There are too many processes that depend on knowing res in advance of opening a file for that to be so far divergent.

The files are *.jpg. But I don't see where camera raw comes in. These are common jpg files. I'm opening them by double click in bridge.
Any way I did disable jpg and tiff in the Camera Raw preferences as you suggested. At Jpeg and tiff handling, both disabled. and restared bridge.
However, I see no improvment.
For example, a file reporting 72 ppi in bridge when opened in photoshop ... Images/size resolution reports 480 pixels/inch.
There is obviously some kind of miss handling that has been done to these files for them to have such a high resolution. I suspect they may have been handled at Walgreens or Walmart... or similar since I had something very similar happen to me once when I had a bunch of pictures developed at Walgreens and they cam back with resolutions like that, when I know the camera would have given them something way less.
But I don't see how any of that should be effecting Bridges inability to get the resolution right.
Here is another example: some.jpg
It appears that bridge is showing an unusually huge file size in inches, to account for the reported 72 ppi.
Bridge:

I have made the exe of my labview application and when i was trying to run it on the users PC the window was almost distorted in the sense the multicolumn list box on the front panel was alligned only to a portion of the screen instead of the full screen.I changed by setting The window size's maintain proportions of window for different monitor resolutions.But still the multicolumn list box was still having problem.
Then i thought of including the next option"scale all the objects on the front panel as the window resizes" but that option was inactive.
I read somewhere to select the control and then from the edit option select "scale object with panel".Unfortunately i could not find such an option in my edit menu even after i selected edit menu after selecting multi column list box which i want to scale according to the front panel.
How do i go forward?

You can size the area of a control or indicator programmatically using the Size property node. I believe in some cases you can increase the font size of the text in the object to achieve the same result. Here's an example of increasing the size of a system combo box by 100 in both width and height:

How to make lot size dependent in Material master?

Hello Experts,
I created a Material master for a Finished product in Pharma industry and in work scheduling screen, under the section "In house production time in days", I see that "lot size independent". What change(s) in my settings in the Material Master can change it to "lot size dependent"?
Does any changes in the "Lot size data" section in the view "MRP1" have any effect on this field?
Also one more question:
Where is the Usage for BOM first specified? Is it in material Master or when creating a BOM?

No,Lot size data in MRP1 view will not have any effect in inhouse production time in work scheduling view.
You need to maintain the base qty in work scheduling in order to get the scheduling time for lot size dependant.
BOM useage is first specified only during BOM creation.
Suppose if u maintain the BOM useage in material master before creation of BOM, then still u can create a BOM with different useage. During these case, there will be always inconsistencies.
Hence Useage is always specified first during BOM creation.

if you ask this on teh Reports forum then I am positive that you get the fonts. Also, as a hint for the furture: Oracle9i Reports if Web only and there use a barcode Java Bean for the same task. So you may want to look for this as well. The Bean and documentation is available on teh Reports product page on OTN

Is there any way to make Object size permanent in Pages?

Hi. Does anyone know how to make the size of an object permanent? I use a lot of clip art and after resizing it, I would like it to stay that size but each time I select an object, the size selection box always appears. This is mainly a problem for Pages for the iPad.

Only if you have used a character style to italicise the words. If you have that you can change one of the word to a chosen colour and all words with that style will get the new colour
