Is there a way to make a 30x42 size (40 GB) Illustrator file as a PDF but make the file smaller in size (able to email to clients) with out compromising the quality of the file or the size of the file?

If you are working in RGB you can embed a colour profile. Embed ICC Profiles is one of the Acrobat save options. It will increase files size dramatically.
When you save your pdf you can choose the compression method for placed images. Default is ZIP which is really no compression at all for pixel images. Instead you should opt for JPG compression (of varying degree according to how sensitive the images are to compression).
You should also examine the other Acrobat save options. To minimize file size you should not have any of the options checked (Preserve Illustrator Editing Capability, Embed page Thumbnails etc. etc.).
40 gigabytes for a file like the one you show is ridiculous. Did you maybe embed the placed images? If so, don’t. Keep them linked unless you really need to embed them.

Once the files are open in firefox, you will also get the option to save them permanently to a location on your computer. How to make pdf non editable?

Hi all,
I need help of yours for solving the problem.
My problem is:-
1.I have used the oledb connection for populating data in the editable form. For one Instance that form needs to be editable and for another instance or another time that form need to be read only. I don't know for doing this is possible or not.
2. I have used the oledb connection for connection SQL SERVER database. When I open the pdf file after saving from livecycle it shows the message "Connection failed due to Environment is not trusted".
How to solve this problem??

Here is a function that will lock all fields on the form for you. Simply put it in a scripting object and call it (passing in the root node of your form and it will lock everything).
If you create a script object called myScriptObject then calling this woudl be like this:

"How to split threaded text frames to single ones?"
"SplitStory.jsx" or "BreakFrame.jsx" under Scripts/Samples indeed could be the answer.
From the comments in the code of "BreakFrame.jsx":

that indicates that PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file. You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
NOTE: With Photoshop Elements 9 the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:

NOTE: If you want to use both iPhoto's editing mode and PS without having to go back and forth to the Preference pane, once you've selected PS as your editor of choice, reset the Preferences back to "Open in main window". That will let you either edit in iPhoto (double click on the thumbnail) or in PS (Control-click on the thumbnail and seledt "Edit in external editor" in the Contextual menu). This way you get the best of both worlds.

I have some photos that are really just stubs that represent the other "real" photos to publish.
I don't want to have to do a mock export/rendering of them just to make them appear published.

In one of my plugins I have a requirement to download and add photos from the remote server and populate the newly created published collection in Lightroom. In this routine, I use the following code to add the images to a published collection using the method provided by Don above.

Hi - you have will have to change the device passwords on all the base stations and then don't give them to anyone except the administrators and tell them not to save them on their computers that use the older versions of the Airport Utility - for the newer versions like the mobile apps, as soon as you enter the pasword it is saved and is visible in the advanced pane along with the network password - so if anyone gets a hold of your iPad or iPhone, they can edit the whole network - I have this same issue with my networks in the office and it is inconvenient but doable - I hope this helps

I have not and am not going to pay for Match. I want to get of of these songs for good. I do not care about removing them from my history which is impossible, I just want to delete songs so they are not in my library and do not sync to my phone since I never wanted them there.
