How to make Safari remember Zoom Lever

I would like to load automaticly with a certain zoom level. When the page loads I have to constantly hit the command key then the + key so the page is large enough to read. I don't want to increase the font size but just to save this zoom level so next time I load this same page it is at the correct zoom level.
How to do it without using the extantions or changing CSS? Or how to write to Apple about it?

Unfortunately, there's no way to have Safari permanently remember the zoom level but check out the options in System Preferences > Accessibility.
Select Zoom on the left.
Alternatively, the Firefox browser offers other ways of handling text sizes on webpages.

No. It's a safety feature. Select the appropriate response and the next time you visit, you won't be prompted.

I have been having trouble for some time sending e-mails by Safari - no problems with Mail - Does anyone know how to make Safari send e-mails?

When we first got our new iMac we were able to send e-mail through Safari - somewhere in the last 2-3 years it stopped and we got the failure to deliver message. We then sent e-mails through Mail - it works well and we have gotten used to doing this. However, every once in a while I retry send e-mails through Safari and we still get the failure to deliver notice. This has also happened when we try to forward some e-mails we receive (not all; most get forwarded).

That is normal Safari behavior.
May be this will help.
Safari > Preferences > Advanced
Accessibility:   Never use font sizes smaller than
Default is 9.    Click the downward arrow and select a larger font size.
Put a check mark in the box to enable it.

How to have Safari remember PDF display preference (two pages continuous)?

I am using the built-in PDF viewer in safari and every single time I am a opening a link or document I have to right-click and choose "two pages continuous" (or at least zoom out) to obtain suitable display preferences.
Is there a way to have Safari remember the last-used or preferred display settings for PDF? All recent versions of Safari (including Yosemite) have this problem.

Exactly!! It boggles my mind sometimes ... I'm reading manuals all day long, running a dozen complicated applications (making movies, music for movies, and now 'books'), and my brain did not register the most obvious ... a dozen times I scanned that menu item. Tick, tock.

How to make Safari stop adding filename extensions

If I use Right-click->Download Linked File As... with a link to a text file whose name has no extension or an unrecognized extension, Safari adds ".txt" to the name without showing in the Save dialog that it is going to do so. I think this is a regression in Safari 7 and/or Mavericks to a bad behavior from the Tiger era, although it is possible that it is an edge case that wasn't fixed along with the fix for more common modes of downloading/saving files and I just haven't run into it recently. I understand the mechanics of what Safari is doing (mapping the HTTP Content-Type header to a filename extension) and I don't see any good workaround short of a master switch making Safari stop doing that at all and instead trusting that I really do want unextended filenames and the ability to use a period in a filename without informing LaunchServices.
As an antique Mac user I've never been entirely comfortable with the adoption of the Windows filename extension botch, but I do accept that battle as lost. I'm just looking for a way to make Safari save files with the name shown in the Save dialog.

How to make Illustrator remember color settings?

The quick color selector in the main toolbar (fill and stroke) always resets their thumbnail sizes whenever I quit Illustrator.
I use a 27" monitor and prefer large thumbnails in my fill and stroke palette in the toolbar - but is there no way to make Illustrator "save" the settings when I change it to large thumbnails?

Can't help you but just to confirm that this is the case (I'm using CS5 Win7). No way to make Illustrator remember the settings - they programmed it as bad as it is and I don't think there is a way at least using the UI.
You can use this link to post a feature request http://forums.adobe.com/community/illustrator/illustrator_feature_requests although I think this can be considered as a bug.
by the way, it is called the Control panel which by default is the horizontal bar under the main menu - the Toolbar is the vertical bar with tools on the left side.
Alternatively meanwhile you can increase the size of the swatches in the Swatches panel which luckily Illustrator remembers.

How do i make safari remember my zoom preferences.

I own the 17" and is really not great to see when i open a website and see all the waisted real estate at the sides of the web pages, here i attach several screenshoot of several websites.

So basically, i can press "command and +" to zoom in and make the page bigger like this one here:

but once i close safari and reopen it, i have to go through that zooming thing again on every single sitres. Oufff i just wish that there is a setting to allow me to set a default and stable zoom size for all websites, and if there is any way to get it done that i'm not finding in safari settings please direct me to the right direction. You have no control over that. The only thing a user can do is clear the history.

I just upgraded to Mavericks on my almost-new MacBook Pro with Retina display, and my almost-new iMac. (I upgraded from Mountain Lion).
Here is a problem I've come across, and I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find a way to fix it. Whenever I use Safari for normal, everyday web browsing, almost every time I go to a page (whether it's using the same window or if it opens a new window---it usually does not matter), the size of everything on that page is just too small for me. I'm sure the size is fine for many people, but for me I really have to squint my eyes to see it. What I have gotten into the habit of doing over the years is to just click the "small a" or "Big A" at the top of my Safari window, and by clicking there, I can either enlarge or decrease the size of the page content. (NOTE: This is exactly the same as going to the "View" menu, and choosing "Zoom In" or "Zoom Out"). I just prefer clicking on the letters since they're right there on the window.
Also, I do not use "Tabs" (they confuse the heck out of me), so all of my Tabs are turned off and I just have regular old broswer windows.
Here is my question:
How do I set Safari so that I don't have to constantly bump up almost every web page I visit? There has to be some sort of "Default" setting somewhere that i can change, so that every time I open up a new browswer page, it goes to the size that I set it to. I have alread looked in Safari Preferences, gone to the "Advanced" tab, and clicked on "Never use font sizes smaller than xx". On my iMac, I have it set to the max of size 24, but really, that is not doing at all what I'm looking for. All that's doing is making letters bigger. I'm looking to make the WHOLE PAGE bigger, just as what happens when you "zoom in" and "zoom out" under the "View" menu.
There has got to be a way to do this, but I sure can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much!

How to make a combined zoom and fade in/fade out effect in Premiere Pro CS4

Hi everyone,
Like the title says, I would really love to have an effect I could just drag from the effects menu onto my footage (mostly text titles) so they could fade in for a second, zoom in slightly while they're on screen, and then fade out for the clip's last second.
That would make my workflow a LOT faster than fiddling with keyframes for the zoom and always grabbing the cross dissolve at the start and end of the text for a few projects I have. It doesn't sound like much, but when you have moving fading text a couple dozen times in each project and it takes the bulk of your time on the project, the repetition reminds me there has to be a better way.
That's what a computer is supposed to do, right, take care of simple repetitive tasks? So how can I get this set up as a reusable effect?

I will +1 Pixelan's products. They are great, simple, and have about the best support that I know of. When you explore, say Pixelan's SpiceMaster, dig deeply. Things appear rather mundane, on the surface, but there is so very much power lurking, just below the surface. I could almost imagine a 1000 page manual to cover every possible aspect of that program... Every time that I use it, I learn something new, and wonderful.
