How to make the commitment item field as display in PR and PO

Hi,
Our user want the 'Commitment Item' filed should only be diplayed while making PR and PO. Please suggest what to do.
Shall, I make the field surpass for that FSG and it will show as surpass in all the enjoy transactions or there is something else I should do..

Actually, users are changing the commitment items and that's why finance people are facing the problems so they have requested to mark the Commitment item field in a display mode.
Please telll me the t. code or the path where to do this as I am not an MM consultant and he has left recently I have been asked to do it.

Hi Rajeswari,
You can modify message number KS096 to "Error" via OBA5. Thus, the users would no be able to save a cost center without entering a profit center. (Depending on your release you can make KS096 modifiable by implementing note 486781.)
Concerning the internal orders (transaction KO01), you can run KOT2 and set Profit center field as required entry in "change field selection" section.

Hi,
This setting cannot be done for document type. This depends on the account assignment category only. Check t-code OME9 and click the details(Lens) for each AA category.

How to Make the Name 1 field in cost center master data as compulsory

Hi,
We have requirement from the client to make the Name 1 field in the adress tab of the cost center master data as a compulsory field when the cost center master data is accessed through KS01, KS02 T code.
There is also existing cost center master data in SAP system for which NAME 1 field is blank. How the issue of the existing master data can be dealt if there are no data NAME 1 field in the existing cost center master data.

How to make the 'Finish Date' field Editable in Project server 2013

Hi All,
In Project server 2013 on premises deployment, When I try to create a new enterprise project [Also in case of new custom project type], Only the 'Start Date' field is available. The 'Finish Date' field is by default taking the value of the 'start Date' itself.
I am unable to make this 'Finish Date' field editable.
Any pointers on this would be very helpful,

When you create a new project in either Microsoft Project Professional or Project Online, the system does not allow you to enter both a Start date and a Finish date for the project. Here is how the software works:
You enter the Start date of the project.
You completely plan the project with tasks, task dependencies, task Durations, and assigning resources to tasks.
Based on the Start date you provide, plus all of the task information, the software calculates the Finish date of the project for you. So, you cannot provide both the Start date and the Finish date, nor is they any way to force the system to allow

How to make the Shipping address field on an Account as a required field?

The requirement is that there has to be a shipping address specified for each Account that is being created.
I tried to set the 'shipping' address field to 'required' in Account field setup, but the required checkbox is disabled, neither can I do it from Account Page layouts since there also its the same case.
Does anyone know if its possible to do this and how?

How to make the Selection Screen fields Invisible..?

I have a selection screen in which I have 2 Radio Buttons and 2 Blocks(with input fields).
The requirement is when the Radiobutton1 is selected, it should display the BLOCK1 and the BLOCK2 should be Invisible. The same way, when the Radiobutton2 is selected, it should display the BLOCK2 and the BLOCK1 should be Invisible.
Could someone help me how to do this. Please share your valuable inputs. If anyone has some sample code, that would be greatful.

WPF: How to make the first column does not show row separator and Left column separator in DataGrid?

Our WPF application uses DataGrid.
One of request is that first column of DataGrid does not show row separator and also does not show Left column separator. So it looks like the first column does not belong to the DataGrid. However, when select a row, the cell of first column still get selected.

We found another way to achieve it by using DataGridRowHeader. The good way to use DataGridRowHeader is that we do not need to make the first column ReadOnly (click on first column does not select whole row anymore). Select RowHeader in a row will select
whole row. Move scroll bar horizontally, the row header still keep in visible area.

2008 - How to make the SATA drives run full speed with Bootcamp and XP ?

Has anyone found a way - after all this time - of repairing a 2006 install of Windows XP SP2 - or in someway fixing the rather slow SATA drive problems?
I have not upgraded to 10.5 - but would if the new Bootcamp somehow (via new drivers??) fixed the problem!
My machine is now 2 years old ( 2.66 4 core ) and I finally need XP's full speed for a project - but most of the posts I've seen are fro 2006 and expired.

What is the use-case that you have - in order to do the same for all the pages in the application.
