How to make the layout as default in CM01

Hi All,
In CM01, i created my own layout for the report. But everytime i need to go to Settings > Detailed Cap. List > Get List Version and select the layout. Is it possible to make the layout as default?

To make the default screen layout, In transaction CM01, after selection of period, click on Capacity Detail / Period. Then go to Menu Bar > Settings > Detailed Cap List > Save List version, then press Save.
this will save the layout.

I have to upgrade a fmb file built in Developer2000(forms 4.5) to forms 9i. I opened it in forms9i builder and Performed some resizing and re allignment to the items in the canvas. But when I save the file and reopen the canvas I found some of the changes are effected and some are gone say the object appear at the same place where it was before...
Note : there is no frames in this fmb they have used only the staight lines to create the box around the section of the form. so setting the frame property update to manually from Automatic is not relevant here.
Could any one suggest me to proceed...

I beleive My explanation about the case is not clear,
I want to migrate a .fmb file developed in Forms4.5 (Character Mode) to the Latest version say Forms 9i(GUI).
As I opened the file in the Forms9i environment some automatic validation and migration took place.
In the Layout editor the Items appeared displaced as the effect of conversion from Character mode file to BitMap file. So I manually Increased the Width of each Text Item to a single Space. (Note: Iam not using the ifcmp90.exe syntax as I didnot go upto the compilation level as of now).
I increased the width of the text items to one space to adjust the bevel effects of the web deployed forms.
I moved the objects to exactly position before the prompts
and as frames are not available in the character mode they have used straight line objects to seperate the items in the layout. These Lines I resized to adjust the form to accomodate the increased width items.
But I moved these lines a bit apart from the items and increased the vertical space between the items in the header section . These two changes alone is not taking place.

you can check the view source of html and check the onclick code written on that plus sign(Expand All), just copy that onclick javascript code and put it on page javascript event.

you need to "Get Info" on the file first. Select it, right click and select 'Get Info' in the menu.
In the window that pops up, near the bottom, the "Open With" drop down menu needs changed. If the drop down menu does not present the one you want, select "Other" and find it.

The category 'view' of items/folders uses the default style of the content area it is defined in (shared categories use the default shared style). Edit the default style to change the font/color of the items/folders returned within the category 'view'. Unfortunately, you don't have the ability to control the layout(like folder regions) - they always display in rows.

Hi
One you execute FAGLL03, go to Settings>Layout>Current Header Rows
You can add some predefine characteristics here.
I am not sure why the hyperlink is not working at your end. But you can search the SDN for special fields in FAGLL03 and you can get lot of posts for this document.

Right now, clicking in an open tab and using arrow keys now moves through the open tabs. I liked the old versions where right after clicking in a tab you could directly go to navigate the page with the arrow keys.
Is there a something I can change in about:config to change this behavior?

Firefox should still set the focus the the browser area if you click a tab.<br />
Only with very old browser versions you could set the focus to a tab by clicking a tab.
This behavior is likely caused by an extension.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

But i want to make source list mandatory at material. By default..it has to appear mandatory on the Material. I want to do this

I have a requirement to create a button in the Application toolbar of the Module Pool Screen. The field should be made Invisible by default. and it should be displayed based on one condition.

Try to use below in the PBO module status_0100 OUTPUT.
DATA t_fcode TYPE TABLE OF sy-ucomm.
refresh t_fcode[].
APPEND 'Function code name of the button' TO t_fcode.
Check the condition here for which you want to make field visible.
DELETE FCODE of the button from T_FCODE table
ENDIF.
SET PF-STATUS 'STATUS_0100' EXCLUDING t_fcode.

Im using oracle forms 11gR2 and everything is working fine, but my question in how to make the forms url short to the end user.
For example my forms url is " http://localhost:9001/forms/frmservlet " now i want to modify this url as "myweb.gov.ae"
can anybody suggest me the possibilities to change to default forms url to our own url as mentioned in the above example.

You would have to either -
* edit the code pointed to by the new action attribute to
include the form
processing and email generation, or
* edit the form processing script to also include the insert
record and
check user name scripting
The former is probably the better procedure, since I suppose
you'd want to
do the check user name before sending the email.
Unfortunately, this means
you will have to get your hands into the code, or hire
someone to do it for
you.

You have a couple of issues, one that is simple to resolve and one that is not so simple.
First, the simple one - the word TOTAL. To alter the word that Discoverer inserts next to a total, or to even remove the word altogether, use this workflow:
1. Right-click on the total and from the pop-up menu select Edit Total
2. At the bottom right-hand corner of the Edit Total dialog box is the area where the label is maintained. You will see a checkbox for the label
3. If you uncheck the label you can change the label to anything you like, including nothing
4. After you have set the label, click OK and close the Edit Total dialog box
Note: In Desktop, this is done via a drop-down from the Total dialog box. If you click the drop-down, the last item in the list is called Generate Label Automatically. If you uncheck this you can create your own label.
Your second issue concerning the non-totaling of the grand total on some items means that there is something preventing one or more of the totals from calculating. First of all, try to determine which item or items is causing the problem by adding individual totals to each of the desired columns. You will eventually find the column which has the culprit. If you use the above workflow to suppress the display of any labels your total line will look as though you have totaled all items.
Next, having found the column that will not total, try to figure out why the values will not add up. Could the column be a calculated item? If so, it is possible that you have used SUM on the outside of the calculation, like this:
SUM(some item - some other item) - this will not total if the original items themselves are in the query and are also being summed. This is because you are mixing aggregate and detail items within the total.
Try changing the formula like this:
SUM(some item) - SUM(some other item) and see if this helps.
If this is not the cause then try changing the formula for that column's total to CELL SUM instead of SUM. This causes Discoverer to literally add the values in the column.
If this is not the cause, could you possibly be trying to total repeated values? By default, this is disabled in the later versions of Discoverer. The repeated values will be caused if you have multiple joins in your query and the item that you are totaling is from the many end of a one to many relationship. Suppose you had items from a header table and line table in the same worksheet with there being multiple lines for the same header, and now let's say you have a column which is returning something from the header. That value will get repeated and if you try to total it would generate the wrong answer, hence out of the box Discoverer is trying to protect you from yourself.
However, it could be that the column really should be totaled but because Discoverer has detected a one to many join it will not total that column. To prove that this is the reason, change the join from a one to many to a one to one. Don't worry, this won't stop the query from working. If this allows the total to work then you can either leave the join as it is with a one to one, which won't harm Discoverer or you can edit the pref.txt on the server and change one of the preferences.
The preference I would change is called AllowAggregationOverRepeatedValues. By default this is disabled and will be set to 0. Changing this to a 1 will now tell Discoverer that repeated values can now be totaled. Don't forget to apply the preferences correctly by execiting applypreferences.bat, on Windows or applypreferences.sh, in Linux or Unix, and then stopping and restarting the Discoverer server.

In MIRO, Cost center field is not populating for the PO without material and with the account assignment project P. I want the cost center to be populated in the MIRO screen.
In OLMRLIST screen cost center tab is not fixed. Once the cost center populates in the MIRO i can fix it.
Please let me know the detailed procedure of how to make the manual entry of the cost center in MIRO?

Hi,
If the PO is Account assigned PO then in MIRO you need to select the Layout as Account assigned -Costcentre, the system will change the Layout of the MIRO.
So on the line item of MIRO you will find the Account assignment arrow mark (just move rightside of the MIRO line item) press this arrow mark,
then system will take to other screen where you can enter the Manual entery to the Cost centre along with G/L account in MIRO
hope this solves your problem. To enter the cost manually you need to select the Layout as Account assignment -- Cost centre.
