How to manage multiple locations for Item (Management warehouse locations)

Is there any way, with UDF and Formated Search, to manage multiple locations for Item in the same warehouse
I must have several (at least 2) locations for the item in the Warehouse and that  i enter in goods receipt and have track of this location and search possibilities at sales order by item and WHS.
read carefully and imagine how (Management warehouse locations)
I added a user table '@Location' who linked to a user field 'U_Location in Item master data --> lnventory data line and an ather user field 'U_Location' in sales order
I met the value of location in the table (list of locations for any warehouse), I select the location of each item while receiving merchandise in the user field of inventory data line (Item M data) and this value appears in the sales order 'U_Location' user field ( only the location value in the default warehouse for this Item)
or
create an user field 'location' in Good receipt PO to fill it while receiving merchandise that appears in the sales order to give possibility to find/select the location of the item at this order and in Item master data
I think we will use all these tables and there is a relationship between all.

a piece of code has been proposed, but it is not so simple

I believe you are talking about defining BIN's (locations) within a Warehouse.
This is quite possible and has been explained / discussed on this Forum a few times in the past.  Though I am completely clear on how you would like to implement this I could give you some guidelines..
Creating a @location UDT is correct to maintain list of warehouse locations
UDF in Items - Warehouses (Item Master ..Inventory Data Tab..Rows)
UDF in Marketing Document Rows (When you add a UDF here U_Location then this will available in all marketing documents, both AR and AP)
You will define a location for an Item in the Item Master....
In the GRPO..you can use FMS to list the location/s for the Item being received from the Item Master and the User can Select it.
In the Sales Order, you can select the location from which the Item could be picked..
Let me know if your process / ideas are different

    My categorization in the IC profile is set to ZDEFAULT (copy of default) but only contains
    IR     Interaction Record
    SO     Service Order
    ST     Service Ticket
    Does not have the CA case entry that is in DEFAULT.
    Z_01 is my case type but I see no place to set the categorization.
    I think I am missing something easy but don't see it.

    I'm guessing zdefault had same description default and it was picking up the default one in error.

    You can remove all other logic, like last page only contents (start@last-page:body), etc and section breaks if any you have inserted manually.
    Just have for-each@section logic.
    It would be difficult for me to guess what you have done without looking at your RTF or describing here.

    Hi Jeyakanthan,
    here is an example (put the like statement into the where field)
    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName FROM OITM T0 WHERE T0.CardName Like '%%test%%'
    The %% sign is a wildcard. If you need start with write 'test%%' and otherwise ends with '%%test'. For contains you need '%%test%%'. You also could combinate this statements like 'test%%abc%%'. This means starts with test and contains abc.

    Sounds like there might be blanks in the artist name.
    For instance "Lou Reed" and "Lou Reed_" will not match.
    (Pretend the underscore _ is a blank).
    Select all the Lou Reed songs, Get Info, and type "Lou Reed" in the artist field. That should fix it.

    Thanks for your prompt reply.
    Yes, I am talking aboout different locations in a particular warehouse.
    For Batch Items system manages quantities through Batches and at the time of receipts and issues system receive/issues quantities through batches.
    My querry is: Is it possible that we can Issue quantities through different locactions of a particular batch of an item. One suggestion is to create UDF's in Batch Table for different locations per batch but this seems irrelevant.
    For example: An item has 100 quantities in Batch A and we issued 50 quantities. Next time whenever we issue same item through Batch A it will show quantity 50. So, how this management is possible for locations through UDF's.
    Kindly help or suggest any workaround for this scenario

    OK it's very easy to transfer the balance. Either u have already customised program to upload data or if the data is "little" u can just manual posting using FB01. just zerorise all balances in the old account.
    Eg. old journal:
    01  MAN        NIAGA SDN.              1,975.00 
    50  80070010   Rental-Car Park              1,975.00-
    To transfer:
    17  MAN        NIAGA SDN.              1,975.00-
    40  80070010   Rental-Car Park              1,975.00
    Means, the account will be zero.

    During confirmation, in Goods Movements screen, we get auto batch determination for WM managed components (based on their control cycle record).  However, we are NOT getting auto batch determination for IM managed components.
    We have created batch selection/sort, and search strategy for Orders as well as Inventory Management.  We have also created condition records for the above IM managed components.  But still auto batch determination does not take place.

    OSPX is a pre-requisite config to OPJ2.  In OSPX, we have selection for "sorting" by Item-Table, Price, & Quantity.  Can you please briefly explain how these 3 sorting is supposed to work ?  Thanks.

    We are investigating how to allow multiple languages within the appraisal templates within our Performance Management application.  Our users currently utilize a Portal entry into Performance Management where they are able to Create or Update their appraisals, all in English.
    Is there a way to allow them to select a different language and then use a translator somehow?  Is there anything delivered to handle this?
    Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated!

    Priya has pointed in the right direction .
    PM appraisal template can be translated in any language maintained in table T002 .
    around 41 different languages are supported by sap .
    1) once you right click on the element and select the translation option , you would be asked for
    target language .
    2)  On identifying the target language , a dual panned screen appears where you can have a look at
    original and target language .

Here is the scenario: The client is working on multiple incidents and instead of logging on to the system again to access the 2nd incident he would like to open another session within the current call he is working on.
    Is this functionality possible in Solman? I have seen the functionality working before  in CRM interaction center not sure if it applies in Solman.

    Hi Maria,
    Options to Call a Function in an SAP System, by entering transaction codes in the command field, the transaction in bold is the one your want for opening multiple sessions.
    You can use the F1 key on the command field to display the following possible entries:
    /N to cancel the current transaction
    /NXXXX to call transaction XXXX directly from another transaction. Without the prefix, you can only call XXXX from the SAP Easy Access screen.
    /O to display the overview of the SAP GUI sessions on your computer
    /OXXXX to call transaction XXXX in a new window directly from another transaction
    /NEND to end the log on session with a confirmation dialog box
    /NEX to end the log on session without a confirmation dialog box
    /I to delete the window you are currently using

    You can maintain multiple addresses for the same vendor using international addresses.
    First, you have to Activate International Address Versions for each country/language via config at
    IMG: Flexible Real Estate Management (RE-FX) > Address Management > International Settings > Activate International Address Versions (You can do this even if you are not using Real Estate Management
    Then, in the vendor master, address screen, select the "International Verion" button, select the address version and maintain your address.
    If you have any programs that need to display or print these addresses, you will have to specifiy the address version to display/print. by default, the version (Field = NATION) is Blank.
