We have two real time infocubes and two aggregation levels based on these cubes in one multiprovider
first cube1 is like

(we have input query to fill coefficients by one responsible user)

Input ready query should be like (for all other users of different org units)
char1|char2|keyfig_coeff| keyfig_quant(for input) | keyfig_result = keyfig_coeff*keyfig_quant(calculated value, should be saved to cube2)
And we don't have pregenerated lines in cube2, users have to add new lines themselves by wad.
Question is, what is the optimal (easiest) way to make calculation and save result data to cube2 where keyfigures for calculation should be used from different infoproviders. I need just a hint.

I installed the PNA series driver to my PC. And I got wavefrom from the PNA but always the amplitude. How can I get also phase info from the PNA and save it to my text file?

I did installed the driver for that PNA, I can select the format such as amplitude or phase, but I can only see one of them at one time.
Could it be seen and save simultaneously?

Busted mac - how to retrive and save my data?

Hi Hope someone can help -
My Mac has gone belly up recently. It starts up in the grey screen with an apple logo and a spinning disc before moving onto a blue screen (with occasional spinning wheel). I can move the mouse cursor in the blue screen.
Note - There is only 7gb of free space left on the hard drive.
I’ve tried many different options to get back into the mac including –
1. Trying to boot into safe mode – fails to do so.
2. Tried holding down the S key while booting up – no joy here either.
3. Holding down cmd-S to get into the UNIX command line – this was successful and I can see all my files and directories.
4. Cmd-C and running from the original OS-X install disc. From here I was able to run the disc utility but it reported no problems with the hard disc. I can also see the various files and directories from here. But I cannot see any way to copy/save my data using this option.
It’s been reported elsewhere that the above problem might be caused by the logic board failing, so re-installing the OS may be pointless, correct? And anyway a full re-install will wipe all my data. So at this point it looks like saving my mac might be a wasted effort, so my main emphasis is now on retrieving my data.
Perhaps someone might be able to help with the following (I’m fairly comfortable with using UNIX, but not an expert).
1. Could I copy the necessary files onto an external hard disc using Unix CP command if I simply attached another external hard disc to the mac?
2. Or could I simply cp my files to an external DVD re-writer drive from the UNIX command line? If so what would be the command to do so?
3. Any other options/suggestions?

Hi, I hope we can help as well.
Okay so your first concern is your data. Go and purchase an external hard drive that is at least twice as big as you think you will need. We'll use it to 1) Create a boot disk and 2) Put any data you can save in a safe place. After we are done, you'll use this external hard drive for backing up your data on a regular basis, so you won't need to worry about this nearly as much again. If you really want to be safe, get two external drives and back up your backup.
Boot the iMac from its install DVD. Use *Disk Utility* to format the external drive. Install the OS on it. Restart, booting from the system on the external drive. Copy your data from the internal hard drive to the external. You can use the *Migration Assistant* (in /Applications/Utilities) the UNIX cp command, a program called Carbon Copy Cloner, or any of several other methods. At this point you can also use the Finder to make a copy of critical files to DVD(s).
Once you have your data safe, shut down the iMac and disconnect the external hard drive. Reboot starting from the install disk again. Use the installer to do an *Archive and Install* of the operating system, preserving user and network settings. See [this article|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710] for further information about A and I.
If the Archive and Install works, you should be able to restart the computer and have it be working again. Reconnect your external hard drive and use it with [Time Machine|http://www.apple.com/support/leopard/timemachine> to maintain current backups for the future.

Problem with the date field in Table Control

I have created a table control in my module programming. One of the column in the table control is a date field which is I/O field.
Now if I enter a value in date field column and hit enter the date field is reset. I dont want the field to get reset and accept valid date field.
I have set type of the column as DATS and I havent used any dictionary fields. The column is from the internal table in the program.
Please suggest

How to provide F4 help for a field in table control

I have requirement like below.
1.Create one custom transaction code with header and item information.
2.In item level, we will be designed table control to enter/display the data.
3.Table controls first field will be material number and next DOT number (Material may have many DOT numbers) and so on.
4.First user will enter material number in the table controls first rows first field and go to DOT number field.
5.DOT number has drop down option. If user selects drop down box of DOT number, he gets all the DOT numbers available in database. User selects one DOT number and double clicks on it then it will be populated in DOT number field box.
But for point number 5, business wants like when ever user enters material number in table control first field then select DOT numbers drop down then they want to see the particular materials DOT numbers only in the drop down list for selection. Not all DOT numbers available in data base. Same thing should happen for all item lines in table control.
Please see below example.
Assume data base table has 10 DOT numbers. But material number has only 2 DOT numbers. When ever user enters material number in item level table control and selects DOT numbers drop down then it should show only 2 DOT numbers which are related to particular material number. Not all 10 DOT numbers.
Could you please suggest me, how can we achieve this?

You can call dialog modules in the POV event using the event keyword PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST.
FIELD <f> MODULE <mod>.
After the PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST statement, you can only use the MODULE statement together with the FIELD statement. When the user chooses F4 for a field <f>, the system calls the module <mod> belonging to the FIELD <f> statement. If there is more than one FIELD statement for the same field <f>, only the first is executed. The module <mod> is defined in the ABAP program like a normal PAI module. However, the contents of the screen field <f> are not available, since it is not transported by the FIELD statement during the PROCESS ON HELP-REQUEST event. You can now program your own value lists in the module. However, this procedure is only recommended if it really is not possible to use a search help. Defining search helps is much easier than PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST, since the system takes over some of the standard operations, such as getting field contents from the screen. It also ensures that the F4 help has a uniform look and feel throughout the system. Furthermore, it means that you do not have to reassign input help to fields on each screen.
Despite the introduction of search helps (and search help exits), there are still cases in which you need to use parts of the standard F4 functions directly. In this case, there are some standard function modules that you can use in the POV event. They support search helps, as well as all other kinds of input help, and are responsible for data transport between the screen and the input help. These all have the prefix F4IF_. The most important are:
F4IF_FIELD_VALUE_REQUEST
Calls the input help of the ABAP Dictionary dynamically. You can pass the component names of a structure or database table of the ABAP Dictionary to the function module in the import parameters TABNAME and FIELDNAME. The function module starts the ABAP Dictionary input help for this component. All of the relevant screen fields are read. If you specify the import parameters DYNPPROG, DYNPNR, and DYNPROFIELD, the users selection is returned to the corresponding field on the screen. If you specify the table parameter RETURN_TAB, the selection is returned into the table instead.
F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST
This function module displays a value list that you created in an ABAP program. The value list is passed to the function module as the table parameter VALUE_TAB. If you specify the import parameters DYNPPROG, DYNPNR, and DYNPROFIELD, the users selection is returned to the corresponding field on the screen. If you specify the table parameter RETURN_TAB, the selection is returned into the table instead.
There are also two function modules - DYNP_VALUES_READ and DYNP_VALUES_UPDATE - that can read the values of screen fields and return values to them during the POV event. For further information, refer to the relevant function module documentation.

How can i save the data from the Oracle database to my local directory

How can i save the data from the Oracle database to my local directory instead Of saving the data file to the Directory created on the Oracle Server ?
I require to design the Procedure which will pull the data from various tables and needs to store the data in the Client's local directory.

Since SQL*PLUS runs on the client, you can use SQL*PLUS to spool data to your local drive.
You could also use the database to write a a specified drive where all users have access to (mapped network drive, e.g.). I wouldn't recommend doing it that way, but it is sometimes useful when the files are created in some nightly batch run.

How can I save/write data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System?

I would like to acquire huge size of data via LabView Real-Time System.
Since data is so huge, I am now thinking that it might be good idea to
write/save data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System first and then
transfer the data file to a data processing PC using FTP etc.
If you know how to save/write data on the hard disc of the Real-Time System
(Ver. 7.1), please let me know.

Just to add to Aitortxo's good answer,
Since you have only one Drive ( C:\) on your RT, just keep monitering the availible disc space.
After every few set of file writes keep transferring Backups delete these files, so that you keep C:\ drive space for running your applications.

I am gettting the data from rs232 interms of 0 or 1. and i have to print it only if thereis a change in data from 0 to 1. if i use if-loop , each as much time there is 0 or 1 is there that much time the data gets printed. i dont know how to do this program please help me if anybody knows the answer

I have attatched the vi. Here in this it receives the data from rs232 as string and converted into binery. and indicated in led also normally if the data 1 comes then the led's will be off. suppose if 0 comes the corresponding data status is wrtten into the text file. But here the problem is the same data will be printed many number of times. so i have to make it like if there is a transition from 1 to o then only print it once. how to do it. I am doing this from few weeks please reply if you know the answer immediatly

We have requirement to build OA page with the data needs to be populated from one table and on save data into another table.
For the above requirement what the best way to implement in OAF.
I understand that if we attach VO object instance to region/page, we only can pull and put data in to only one table.

You can achieve this in many different ways, one is
1. Create another VO based on the EO which is based on the dest table.
2. At save, copy the contents of the source VO into the dest VO (see copy routine in dev guide).
3. commiting the transaction will push the data into the dest table on which the dest VO is based.
I understand that if we attach VO object instance to region/page, we only can pull and put data in to only one table.
if by table you mean a DB table, then no, you can have a VO based on multiple EOs which will do DMLs accordingly.Thanks

How to open and save file like the Notepad Demo do?

I am a newer to Java Web Start. I found that in the Notepad Demo, when user try to open or save file, a message box appear and give the user some security suggestions.
In my application, I used a JFileChooser and set the <security> element to <j2ee-application-client-permissions/> in the jnlp file. But the application will thow an exception:
access denied (java.io.FilePermission C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\desktop\Java Web Start.lnk read)
Can someone tell me how to solve this problem. By the way, where can I find the source of the Notepad Demo. I want my application to open and save file just like the Notepad Demo do.

Very simple. Turn off Find my iDevice, then Tap Settings, General, Erase, Erase all content and settings.

I have been reluctant to install iTunes on the new hard drive out of fear that I will lose all the contents on the ipod if I try to synch to the new hard drive.

No backup is a huge mistake.

Thanks but I have tried doing the above - when I said 7 times I was modest, its more like 15 times.
And I am referring to the 5.1 software update. I dont have wifi so I guess I will have to try that seeing that my husband also has the same problem - he has also tried downloading several times. It always times out en says that the connection is lost but yet there are always an internet connection and a decent signal once it stopped. Think it said error 32052 or something!
I am disappointed because the update includes inprovement on the battery life - did you guys notice any difference?
