How to only show bleeds on certain pages?

Hi everyone,
I have a few pictures in a publication, and I only need to see the bleed on those pages. However, when I select bleed option under document setting, the bleed appears on every single page. How to show bleeds only on the pictures pages? Thank you very much!

You can fake a bleed by drawing a rectangle on a non-printing layer. Show or hide the layer as needed. Because showing/hiding a layer affects all pages in a document, to show one or another fake bleed independent of others, place each on its own layer. Although in InDesign CS5's Layers panel, you can select objects on layers and show or hide them individually, it's tricky to figure out which is which; it's easier to place each fake bleed rectangle on its own layer.

PRINTING: Keynote will only print to a certain page # then stops

Just to get this out of the way: iWork '08/Keynote 4.0, Mac OS 10.4.10 and everything has been updated. I also looked for other strings relating but could not find any.
I have a few reports created in Keynote that will only print to a certain page. Each report prints the same page every time, but the page # differs for each report. For instance, one report will print to page 32 out of 64, another to 42 out of 70, etc...
Further, if I select the pages that were missing, they will not print at all.
I have tried different printers, networks and printers. Other programs (Word/Excel) will print in total.
Has anyone heard of this problem/have any advice?

PDF only shows the first 4 pages

I am trying to convert an Excel spreadsheet to .pdf format
via Adobe's 5-copies-free converter. It seems to work at first
blush. But when I read the .pdf version, it only shows the first 4
pages of my Excel spreadsheet. This leaves 75% of my spreadsheet
unconverted. What gives here????

My spot removal circle is only showing up in certain parts of my pictures. It shows up in the corner but when i move it to the center of the picture it disappears. It was working fine a little bit ago. Not sure if I accidentally hit something or what. Help!

You won't see anything obviously related to iCloud, Jimmy. But if you go to the home iTunes Store page while logged into your iTunes Store account, you should see a Purchases link now under the Quick Links header. That's the only part of iCloud active at this time.

PDF sent from SAP 4.6C only shows the first 10 pages

Since a few weeks a spoolrequest that is produced by a job contains more than 10 pages. This report is automatically converted to pdf and mailed to an external recipient, but the pdf only contains the first 10 pages.
When I look into this spool request in SAP, I can see all pages.
Does anyone know how to include all pages in the PDF?

hi,
by default only the first 10 pages of spool are being saved (or converted to pdf in another way). you can change this settings. here i'll show you the way :
- goto SP02 or SP01, input suitable parameters
- select your spool request
- press F6 to display the content
- navigate to : goto >> display request >> setting
- from popup window, on "Display Area" section, you can set the page settings for your spool. the default value is only from page 1 to 10, you can set it as you need (in example from page 1 to 100), but beware, setting it too high in some case will cause memory issue.

Firefox is only showing index of certain web sites

going to a web site it is only showing the index of the page not the page. showing that it is not completely loading the page. the circle keeps going around and never completely loads. its almost like i am making a web page. not doing it on all sites i go too. just the ones i frequent like facebook, raceny, pogo.com

I had posted the problem previously & accidently marked the problem as solved.
I received the following message since:
"I am not sure how my previous post solved the problem but since then I think I have found the answer.
I simply enabled Shockwave Flash 10.0.32.18
From the Firefox Homepage it is located under:
Tools\Add Ons then select the PlugIns Tab
Select Shockwave Flash then enable it.

How to only show data that hasn't passed the current data?

I have some data in an xml file. I can get it to connect fine to an .html page. My question is how do I only show the data that hasn't passed the current date? Can this be done?

Browser Only Shows 35 Rows per Page

I have a Business Exploder query that I display on the web. However, it only shows 35 pages at a time. Can I increase this to all rows? I don't see an option in the query properties, and I don't have access to any stylesheets.

For table web item, set the specific property - "Number of Data Rows displayed" to 0 (zero) This will show all of the records returned.
But be careful about large number of rows as browser will go for a spin. It does not stops as excel does for 6000 rows.

Vertical Shape with a phrase only show's in first page!

Hello!
I'am designing a purchase order and customer dont have to use a pre-printed paper. I have a need to have a phrase in vertical in left side of all pages!
I created a shape and put the phrase inside of shape.
My problem is that the phrase only appears in the first page of my purchase order.
Someone Have an idea how to solve this issue?

Thanks. Hadn't seen the "Troubleshooting a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM Disc That Does Not Appear on the Desktop". I have reset the SMC and PRAM/NVRAM to no avail. One thing that's interesting is that it suggests: "Make sure the appropriate extensions are installed and active in the Extensions Manager. (Apple CD/DVD Driver, Foreign File Access, UDF Volume Access)."
There is nothing in my Macintosh HD/Library/Extensions folder. Other than that I'm not sure what they mean by Extensions Manager -- perhaps it relates to an earlier OS version, maybe even System 9. Powerbooks are mentioned on that page, but not MacBooks or MacBook Pros.
In any case, I notice that there is now a support option where you can submit a wider range of issues than before and have Apple call you back to discuss it. They are going to call me back tomorrow. Maybe that'll help get to the bottom of this.

How to only show data for a certain period of time for cumulative data?

I need to show cumulative data for the past 12 months on a chart (e.g. # of accounts). But in order to get the cumulative data for Month 1, I need to cum the data starting from the very first month when we started to add new account which can be Jan 2006. If I put a filter to limit the data to only last 12 months, then my Month 1's cum data will not include any account prior to Month 1. So how do I do this?

How do I only allow comments on certain pages?

I have a Blog and I obviously don't want every page to allow comments. It seems that you allow comments or not. Surely this cant be. Do do you allow comments on some entries and not others.

Packaged PDF only showing first document (cover page)

I've produced a set of Ebooks which are made of Chapters and I've saved them under the Package PDF feature.
My client reports that some customers are saying that they can only see the first page of the PDF which is the cover, and can't see the remaining chapters.
I've opened it up in Reader 9.2 and there's no problem. All the chapters show up in the left sidebar. Click one and you're there.
Does anyone have insight into how chapters might not show up in Reader. Is this a downloading issue where PDFs get compromised? Or is that I'm using Acrobat Pro 8 on a Mac?

Not knowing if all the client's users are experiencing this problem as a "read in the browser" issue, instead of using Reader.
Have your Mac friends/Clients go to google look for PDF Browser Plugin by Schubert.
It will allow PDF's to open in any browser on a Mac. IE isn't supported.
Either the folks at Adobe couldn't figure out how to do it or were unintersted doing a proper conversion. Odd thing adobe's PDF Plugin did work when Mac was using OS9 and lower.
The Scheburt Plugin allows opening with Safari, SeaMonkey, FireFox, Camino, Opera, OmniWeb, iCab.

Browserlab only showing top half of page

The first link on my home page www.ReduceStressNow.net is http://www.reducestressnow.net/breakthrough
But when I Command click this link in IE9, then Browserlab only loads half the page. There's an Expander with eleven entries, immediately before the Scientific Proof/New Scientist section and browserlab stops showing after the first few. The rest of the page is missing.
This is perhaps why none of its first six links are working (see the fifth paragraph on the /breakthrough page.) They are all same-page links to further down the page in the missing part, the first one is: www.reducestressnow.net/breakthrough/#new-scientist
I'm using the main Browserlab interface with Mac Snow Leopard and Firefox to check my site works in Windows Internet Explorer.

Fyi the page navigation keys don't work in the browserlab pages although they are working on the browserlab forum in a separate tab in the same window. That's page top, page bottom, page up and page down on my extended keyboard.

This is not a bug. BrowserLab has a limitation on the size of screenshots it will take... currently that's a max of about 4000 x 4000 pixels. It looks like your page is considerably longer than and thus is getting cropped on the server. And you're correct, that's why those in-page links don't work. I'll go ahead and forward this on to our product manager as an enhancement request to be able to handle larger pages.
