How to open a htmlwebpage by using pl/sql?

my problem is how to open/invoke a existing webpage by using pl/sql.Because I want to do a authentication function,and write a procedure to varify the user ID and password.If they are valid,a welcome webpage can display,otherwise a eror message/webpage will be invoked.
My question is how to display the error message to the webpage or to open a webpage which display the error message by using pl/sql.

I think you may be in the wrong forum, but anyways...
What I think your looking for is the htp.print('insert html here'); function. It's plsql, and writes out html to the web server that calls it.
if you search for htp.print you should find loads of examples.

This was so annoying!! It took me a good couple of hours but i figured it out, you need to do the following: Go to the folder where you saved the download (in my case i saved it in My Downloads) -> click on 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12' -> click on 'PSE 12' -> click on 'Setup' (select the icon which is a box with a shield) -> follow instructions and....voila! You will need to restart when it suggests so save anything else first, then when it reboots you should see the icon on your desktop....hpe this helps!

Im trying to convert a pdf into binary format. So im trying to read the contents of the pdf into a XSTRING. Using the FM 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY' i can convert the XSTRING to binary format.

What i've tried is....
DATA: f_name type string value 'C:\rep_output_pdf.pdf',

      LT_DATA TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF X255.
OPEN DATASET f_name FOR input IN BINARY MODE.
READ DATASET f_name INTO x1.
CLOSE DATASET f_name.
CALL FUNCTION 'SCMS_XSTRING_TO_BINARY'
    EXPORTING
      BUFFER     = x1
    TABLES
      BINARY_TAB = LT_DATA.
Im getting a short dump .
Short text: The file is not open.
Plz help me out.

You are trying to do use OPEN DATASET with a local file. NOT POSSIBLE
You have to have the file in the app server to use OPEN DATASET.

How to open illustrator file (.ai) using Indesign and save it as XML

I know how to open a Illustrator file (.ai) in Indesign.
It would be like :
1 ) Save your Illustrator file as AI. This Native format is most compatible with InDesign.
2 ) Go to -> InDesign, click on your document using your Frame Rectangle tool (the one with the X through it).
3 ) Fill in the desired size (can be adjusted later).
5 ) Go to File menu > Place.
6 ) Find and select the Illustrator file in the window that opens.
7 ) Click the Open button.
Adjust size, & position of your image using the Direct Selection tool (white arrow), and the cropping with the Seclection tool (black arrow.
Now I want to save this file as XML.
After that, I say
1 ) File -> Export
But this file saves as XML only shows he the root element nothing else.
Every time , this shows like
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?>
<Root></Root>
Nothing is there as contents.
Can anyone let me know, is it possible to store .AI file as XML.
My requirement is simple, i want to store the .ai file as XML.
Some how I am using Indesign to do so . Can any body help.

Copy and paste is again seems same as 'Place the file' , it wouldn't help again.
Copy( from Illustrator) and paste( it in Indesign) and later saving\exporting as XML again create the same the XML file with no data . Just a XML structure,

RRegarding using the FXG and SVG file .. saving these formats to XML does not shows the Co-ordinates in XML formats.
I do I would like to have the coordinates (x,y) so that later on , if required I can change the coordinates and display the Image or Text in the file. As this is a requirement for business card.

Where is the pdf you are trying to open? Is it on the server or the client? If the file is stored on the server then you can access it using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT assuming it is stored in a place that has a virtual mapping. For example:
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('http://server/someLocation/file.pdf','_blank');If the file is on the client then you need to configure your application to use WebUtil. Then you can do what Francois suggested.

I have a custom pl sql application that is web services based. The custom pl sql application invokes the external web services and updates Oracle Field Service application.
One of the new requirements is to get the signatures from SOAP Attachments (a binary file) and attach it to Field Services transactions in Oracle.
Does anyone has an example of how to download the SOAP attachment file from web service using pl/sql.
The pl sql program uses UTL_HTTP to access web services.
