How to open a window in full screen mode using lf_fpm_navigation?

Hi Guys
For the following applications
ESS Application: HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_ESS
MSS Application: HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI_MSS
When the user clicks on the appraisal document name, a seperate window(not full screen) is generated to display the Appraisal docuemnt.
The code is as follows:
COMP: HAP_START_PAGE_POWL_UI
Object : COMPONENTCONTROLLER
Method: FOLLOWUP_POWL
Generate the URL to be called.
    CALL METHOD cl_wd_utilities=>construct_wd_url
      EXPORTING
        application_name = 'HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT'
        in_parameters    = lt_parameters
      IMPORTING
        out_local_url    = l_url.
    wd_this->url = l_url.
    wd_this->display_document( ).
In Method: DISPLAY_DOCUMENT
lv_alias = 'EMPLOYEE_DOCUMENT_UI_OBN'.
use FPM navigation
    ls_nav_key-key1 = 'HAP'.
    ls_nav_key-key2 = 'HAP_GENERIC_UI'.
    lr_fpm_navigation ?= lr_fpm->get_navigation( is_key = ls_nav_key iv_instance_sharing = abap_false ).
    CALL METHOD lr_fpm_navigation->get_key_from_alias
      EXPORTING
        iv_alias = lv_alias
      RECEIVING
        rv_key   = lv_key.
    lr_fpm_navigation->modify_parameters(
         EXPORTING
           id_target_key            = lv_key
           it_application_parameter = lt_appl_param
           it_business_parameter    = lt_business_param    ).
    lr_fpm_navigation->navigate( lv_key ).
Any idea how to open this window in full screen?

Hi Pramod,
This FPM navigation is achieved using settings made in Launchapd Customizing ( LPD_CUST ).
a) Execute Tran LPD_CUST
b) Go to Role HAP - Double Click to open it.
c) Open the second folder on the LHS menu - there you will find 2 entries
d) Click on second entry - in the entry setting you can see that it is configured for WD Application - HAP_MAIN_DOCUMENT
e) Click on button Show Advanced Parameters
f) There you will find a input box named as Window Features - here you can specify window features like
height=700,width=1100,position=center,menu=no,status=no,location=no,menubar=no,status=no,toolbar=no
save the settings come out and test ur app again.
change the height and width and other features as per ur req.

There needs to a be a space before -fullscreen and that switch needs to be placed after the quotes

But I don't think that it will work. Firefox 4 doesn't have that switch by default, so support should be added via an extension.

I Don't think Microsoft updated it for those buttons. Look for a blue button with arrows in it on the right side of the menu bar.
Also try Esc key.

In CS5 there are changes made to how the screen mode is reported. In CS3-CS5 the screen mode has a corresponding number. So for instance if the ScreenMode is set to "Preview Off" and you ask indesign CS3 or CS4 to display the screen mode, it will report "1936552047", while in CS5 it will report "PREVIEW_OFF".
try executing this simple command in respectively CS3, CS4 and CS5 and you will see what I am talking about:
alert(app.activeWindow.screenMode);
there is no difference if you do:
alert(app.activeDocument.layoutWindows[0].screenMode);
The CS5 solution is rather awkward to work with, unless I am missing something? PREVIEW_OFF is not a string, nor is it a number.
Example - doing:
myScreenMode=app.activeDocument.layoutWindows[0].screenMode;
and then trying to reset screenMode by something like:
app.activeDocument.layoutWindows[0].screenMode= myScreenMode
does not work in CS5 of course. It will throw an error. Neither will this line work:
app.activeDocument.layoutWindows[0].screenMode=ScreenModeOptions.myScreenMode;
Any way of working around this?

Opening a window in full screen?

Hi,
One thing that really frustrates me is that i can't find a way to open a window program in full screen mode. I always have to manually set the window to the right place since the green button with the plus on the top left corner never really helps. So is there secret button that i don't know about that should be able to do this?

You can only do full screen on Mac OS X Lion but you can hide the dock and drag the window from the bottom right hand corner but it will still have the menu bar, How ever if you have a dual monitor setup you can use it on full screen on the second screen that does not have the menu bar or the dock

How to open Illustrator CS6 in Full Screen?

This is a very banal question:
How can I open the Illustrator CS 6 in the full screen mode.
The program opens every file in the minimized mode and I think it's annoying when I have to clcik the full screen every time.

If the problem is with the application opening in full screen mode (your second sentence) - you can right click on you Ai shortcut and go to Properties. Under Properties you can set the application to run in full screen mode (see screen-shot):
As for the minimized files - not sure if it will help but you can set your preferences to open files as Tabs. This should solve the problem. Go to Edit > Preferences > User Interface > Open documents as tabs

When opening PDF-files in full screen mode, the screen becomes transparant and makes the PDF unreadable. How to solve this?

When viewing a note in the bridge how do you switch to landscape full screen mode?

When viewing notes in the Bridge, there are two modes after pressing messages. One is portrait where the note being viewed shows in full screen after going to it from the inbox list. The other is in landscape where the inbox list is on the left and notes on the right. I want to zoom to a full screen landscape view of the note. I know that the device is capable of displaying a note this was as this is what you see when you touch the icon in the upper left corner to go directly to a new note or an urgent one, but I can't figure out how to get there from the normal note display.

There are two full screen modes in FCP X when running in MacOS X Lion.
Fullscreen playback:
     Enter using the double arrow on the viewer or with command-shift-F.
     Exit with the Escape key.
Fullscreen editing:
     Enter using the double arrow on the top right of FCP X's windows or control-shift-F.
     Exit using escape or control-shift-F.
This is how it works for me.

'Pop-up to confirm' window in full screen mode

Hi Guys
In a SAP standard WDA application on clicking a link the application calls a pop-up(create_popup_to_confirm) window centered on the screen. I need to open the pop upwindow in full-screen mode. Changing/increasing size is not acceptable. Is this possible for pop-up window? If so , can you please help?

I tested with parameters window_height and window_width of method create_pop_up_to_confirm and they seem to be working. I tested it on Netweaver 7.02 Release ( Maybe this feature is enabled ).
yeah Manas .. it was with Netweaver 7.01 only they r not working .. search the SAP online help
Also if you have to increase the height and widht of rootelement then you have to call method create_window to call an already existing view as Pop Up

Hello SR,
I don't think it is possible to do this directly in the web interface. Otherwise many websites would change your browser settings.
It's possible to set the window properties, when the window is opened from JavaScript for example. So you could create a dummy start page and add some JavaScript to open a window for the web interface with the settings you require. Here's a good page that explains it:

I've searched all over Google and in here but am surprised to
find nobody else with the same problem!
How do you keep all of the items centered inside a Div when
switching to full screen mode in IE? Everything in my "#global" Div
shifts upwards creating a big mess and doesn't stay where it should
in my content box (which is part of the background. There's no
problems when resizing the window by dragging, just when using full
screen mode. Here is my body and #global code:
