How to open page with cursor in a set location

We have a page for a login, and I want the page to open with the cursor positioned in that location. Below is the code we have which seems like it should work but it doesn't. This was a page someone else created and as a new user of DreamWeaver, I don't know how it was created to start with so don't know how to fix (or start over). Any advice? Thanks

Does anyone know how to open pages document with windows vista? i saved it onto a usb stick but when i tried to open it on the computers in my university which support windows vista, it didnt reconise the file and opened with a page of question marks!!!! Im panicking now!!!!!

You cannot open it on Windows Vista. The only application in the world that opens a Pages document is Pages, and it is Mac OS X only.
Your options:
1. Find a Mac with Pages installed, and save the document as doc or pdf, which you can open on Vista.
or, if that is impossible,
2. Open the files in a texteditor like Notepad.exe on Windows and try to piece text fragments together to get at least part of your original text back. The images should also be available somewhere, even though all formatting is gone.

How to edit the browser list which shows up in Develop Open Page With

I am seeing a few missing browsers still listed in the "Develop>Open Page With" menu and was wondering if there is a way to remove those entries from that list. Thanks!

In Safari why dont I have icon in toolbar that shows how many open pages I have?

Apparently when using Safari on the iPad there should be a little icon in the toolbar that looks like a rectangle and has various numbers in it. Apparently this shows how many open pages you have. When you tap on that icon, you are shown a page with thumbnails of the pages you have open. Unfortunately my husband's iPad does not have that tooblar icon. I cant seem to find any answers on the internet, from friends, from the IT people at work, the local people who sell iPads. Thanks to anyone who can help.

That was the case in iOS 4, but its not the same in iOS 5. Apple moved to a tab-based interface for the iPad in iOS 5. The old thumbnail view is no longer included.

Under the "Develop" Safari menu there is an "Open Page with" item that shows on my machine something like 50+ apps (everything, not just browsers) from my Bootcamp partition. Extremely annoying, how do I correct it?
(no VMware but Parallels installed, current versions of everything (system, etc) as of today.)

When I open page with command “firefox.exe http://www.mozilla.com/” and then “firefox.exe http://www.google.com/” pages will open in different tabs. Is it possible to open webpage (or html file) outside browser (from command line or shortcut), and then to open some other webpage(s) or files (using command-line or shortcut again) in same tab as the first one?
On that system I use firefox 3.6.3 and WinXP.

"Open Page With" menu option does not list Firefox anymore

I recently updated Safari to 4.0.3 and I am no longer able to open the current page in Firefox via the "Develop > Open Page With" menu option. It does not list Firefox even though I have 3.5.2 installed. Also, I am unable to show the Debug menu. Any thoughts?

When Firefox downloaded the 3.5.1 to 3.5.2 update, the new installation was not recognized by Safari. I had to download the full 3.5.2 setup file and reinstall. That fixed it.

Is there a way to open page with a new Tabular Form row?

I have a (non-manual) Tabular Form that works great. My requirement is to have the new page to open with a new row already added.
I tried      onLoad="onLoadProcess()";

but it hits every onload so it loops, each submit causing another submit.
Anyway of getting the rowcount in the tabular form without making a manual one?

What happened to my opening page with links to my most frequently used websites which I use to get onto a Wordpress Dashboard in one click!!!!!!!

My normal Firefox opening page has disappeared. I is a page with about 12 webpages in small windows which are links to my frequently used sites. Some of them are Wordpress Administrative pages and I need them to access my websites. How do I get this page back?
Another change is the persistent presence of Ask.com on every search window. Where did that come from? I don'[t want or use Ask.com. Is this something that Mozilla added in? If so, it is a bad idea. I use Google for search and want my familiar Firefox opening page back on opening of Firefox.

Thank You! I went to the link you sent and reset Firefox. Yippee, that is exactly correct. I believe it happened when I used the Chrome Browser one time. Won't be doing that again.

How to open Pages files from previous versions?

Can anyone tell me how to open a pages file I made on Pages '09? I don't remember uninstalling that version of Pages, so I'm guessing the current version just wrote over it. Anyway, it won't let me open those files, which is puzzling since I can open Office documents from that time period. Thanks.

Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Note: Apple has removed over 90 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

How to upgrade Pages with a redemption code

I am not sure where and how to upgrade Pages using a redemption code given to me by Apple, as an old coworker's ID is stuck as the original purchaser for the program and cannot be changed. I was issued an exception/redemption code but I don't know how to use it, whenever I click update it just brings me to the same box with his ID asking for the password we don't know. Please help! Pages will no longer allow me to open and use my work documents. iMac has been upgraded to Yosemite. Thanks!

If you have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac:
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5/5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.1 sometimes can not open its own files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.5.1 only runs on Yosemite and has yet another file format.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

Stuck to opening .pages with textedit as default

hello guys, after upgrading to snow leopard from leopard, i am stuck with opening .pages document with textedit. i tried to change it in "*get info*" but it doesn't work, it stick with texteedit as the default application.
anyone encounter this issue before?
