How to open stills as a movie?

I have been unable to open a folder of still images as a time lapse movie.

You are right. I just figured it was SO STUPID, no one else would make the same mistake.
The trick is to Import Multiple Files, and click the "JPEG Sequence" box. I had not done this because I figured I didn't want a sequence of JPEG files, I wanted a "movie" and I was trying to import my jpegs "as footage". None of that worked out. All you have to do is click the JPEG Sequence box and everything is fine.
I was fooled because it was too easy.

How to Add Still Photo for Movie Trailer?

I can't get iMovie '11 to see any of my iPhoto still pictures to add to a Movie Trailer. How can I do this? The photo icon is gray.

The Trailers don't accept stills, as they are designed to work only with video clips. However, a workaround is to convert the Trailer to a normal project (File>Convert to Project). Then you can edit the project like any other. A downside though is that any modifications you make may cause the music and images to go out of sync. The video and music could end up finishing at different times. You may therefore have to add your own music, lessening the impact of the predesigned theme. NOTE: Before converting, Duplicate the Trailer first, then convert the duplicate. To duplicate, right-click on the Project name in the Project Library then select Duplicate Project.
You could create a project containing just the stills you want to use in the Trailer. Export the project at full size, then re-import to an iMovie Event. That will effectively create a movie from the stills which should then be available for the Trailers. I haven't tested this but assume it will work, given that the stills have now been converted to video.
PS. I just tested the procedure described in my last paragraph above. It works perfectly. In fact you can use the Ken Burns effect on the photos before exporting, creating movement on the stills, which works great with the Trailers!

IMovie 11 - How to add still photos to movie trailers

How do I get still images into my iMovie trailer (themed)? I can't seem to get them into the events tray. The project tray is filled with the trailer in process (can't pull them from there either). Import function just wants to pull video clips.

When using onclipevent via on(rollover), how do I still paused a movie?

I have a movie that is running free on the timeline and when
I rollover it I am attaching a movie to the cursor.
My problem is that when I do this, I then cant seem to pause
the running time line.
eg:

I have a similar problem. The default answer on the web is to open Videos on your iPad, then touch and hold the movie you wish to delete, then tap the little cross that appears. Alternatively, you can connect to iTunes, select your device in the list, scroll down to the Rentals summary and delete from there.
I have a problem with both of these solutions! The Video App on my iPad does not contain any video icons, just an option to browse my shared library, so I can't delete it from there... ANd in iTunes, the movie in the Rntals tab on my device summary is greyed out, so I can't do anything from there either. But the movie is taking up 2.5 Gb....
Can someone please offer an alternative to resetting the device entirely?!

pls help. i change the file preview of a movie file, and it shows that i have changed the preview in finder but when i open the folder on my dock, it shows the still of the movie instead.
the image shows the film the hangover as an example. the movie poster is visible in finder, but reverts to a default movie still from the dock. this only seems to occur for mp4 files.

its nothing to do with itunes, its movies form the internet. i got the file preview by taking an image off the internet, pressing command c and pasting it on top of the small icon in the get info section

Nobody can tell you anything without proper system info or other technical details since even your terminology is confusing. there are no "pages" in Photoshop. What you describe in vague terms could be anything from your target document having a different color mode/ color profile to some hardware acceleration issue, but we really can't make any sense of it based on your information.

I'm having trouble opening a v3.mov file to watch as a quicktime movie. Can someone please tell me how to open this file?? I'm afraid it's going to open in itunes because I have that installed on my pc. I need it to open in quicktime.

What application are you trying to run? If you just want a
link that opens
your e-mail program (for feedback, say), I think that's
possible. But yeah,
as others have said, allowing a Shockwave movie to open a 3rd
party
application would be a serious security risk, which is why
it's specifically
