How to pass in URL time format like this : DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS ?

Hi,
I have items date format in the folllowing format : 'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI:SS'.
I want to pass them in URL but the sign':' is interpreted as an end of value by apex;
For example if the item value is '21/03/2010 10:20:43' i get this as a result '21/03/2010 10';
How top pass the tiem value in the URL wthout if possible to change the mask format ?

This a bit of a brute force aproach, but is worth considering as it caters for all Apex specific characters (that htf.escape_sc preserves). It's also useful when extracting text to SQL scripts that may include line feeds, quotes etc etc. RAW representation is twice the as long as the input date string, so use with caution... It also helps obfuscate the URL which helps reduce URL hacking...

we have a webdynpro which we can call with passing a run time value in this form:

This link will be sent to many users but the WI_ID will change every time.
It works fine but now we want to implement this webdynpro in our portal. The user shall get a link like this
https://xxx.yyy.zzz/irj/portal/webdynpro-test?wi_id=000000004332. With this link he will navigate directly to the webdnypro (quicklink-function).
The problem is that i don't know how to transfer the parameter WI_ID in the url to the webdynpro.
It's no problem to fix the WI_ID in the application parameter properties but this is not what we want.
Is it possible to transfer the url parameter to the application parameters of the webdynpro iview ?

Hi Mirko,
The first thought I had is if your scenario makes sense at all. Because you might send out the links, but probably the iView will also be accessible via navigation, and in that case this additional parameter won't be there!?! (And if the iView is not accessible by navigation, then why going the way via the portal and not the direct way to the application like with your first link given?!).
Anyhow, I think this should be possible by using the AppIntegrator, see The customer exit of the Application Integrator
For an example about how to add individual values to users which you then can add to the URL see this discussion: App Integrator, and custom URL parameters using Customer Exits - this might be a possibility that each user can call the "same" iView but in fact the app integrator then would be fired with different URL parameters (per user).

This works. Notice I am passing the required table function parameter using the declared variable.

But I guess you can't do this?... because I'm getting an error saying h.SomeDate cannot be bound. Notice in this one, I am attempting to pass in the table function parameter from the SomeTable it is joined to by ID.

NO you cant pass a table function parameter like this?
As When you declare @date assign value to it and pass as a parameter it will return table which you can use for join as you did it in first code
But when you pass date from some other table for generating table from your funtion it doesnt have date as it is not available there

Read up on creating patterns. This one is just simple lines and very easy to do, but remember that the defining rectangle MUST be at the very back of the stack:
Start off by making your pattern tile (top). Drag the drawing to the Swatches panel.
Fill a rectangle with the pattern. Scale and rotate the pattern fill (see Scale and Rotate dialogues).
Recolour the pattern using Edit > Edit Colors > Recolor Artwork

Before assigning the QADATE value you can write the logic to display 20080312   as 12-MAR-2008 taking the offset values .
Like
qadate = wa_jcds-UDATE.
qatime = wa_jcds-UTIME.
lw_year    = qadate(4).
lw_month = qadate+4(2).
lw_date    = qadate+6(2).
case lw_month.
when 1.
when 2.
        concatenate lw_date '-FEB-' lw_year into qadate.
when 3.
      concatenate lw_date '-MAR-' lw_year into qadate.
endcase.

And you can also change the timeformat also .

ADF Faces + ADF BC : how to pass an url parameter to a backend business ser

I'm using latest JDev studio version SU 3.
My project is using ADF Faces with BC4J in the service layer.
I have a backend application module which exposes a method taking a String parameter as an input (ex: void setUsername(String username))
I need to have a jspx page which reads a parameter passed in the url (http://localhost/faces/registerUser.jspx?username=john) and send it to the backend service method when a submit is raised on a clicked button.
It's pretty simple when using inputtext for example but not obvious if I want to use urm param instead of inputtext.
How do I do this ?

The following EL expression work for displaying the parameter inside an outputText component :
#{facesContext.externalContext.requestParameterMap[yourParameter′]}
The parameter is not sent to the business service when the button is clicked.

TMVL is not supported in BPC MS.
Try using

I have created customized Store Procedure for some logic. Presently i am executing the Store Procedure through the Data Manager Package.
But i need to pass a run time parameter at the time of execution the data manager package. Basically i want pass the Materail Dimension Member at the time of data manager execution .

Hi Krish,
For this, you maintain a script logic and from the script you call the stored procedure alongwith its parameters. Now build a DM on top of the script logic. While running the DM, it should ask the user to select the material members. These members will be automatically passed to the script through %MATERIAL_SET%. In your script, call the stored proc and once of the parameters should be %MATERAIL_SET%.

Why is my text formatting like this?

and that my <p> text is smaller and normal. The problem is
that I'm getting a line break gap between the two even when there's
not one in the HTML. There should be a space between the <p>
and <H2> (padding of 5), but not the <H2> and

How do I make my terminal look like this?

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how this guy made so his terminal look the way it does.
I've searched around some sites but I can't really figure out what to look for as I don't know the name of the application or what it really is, just that it looks like that.

Rob (the dzen dev, IIRC and BTW) is probably using urxvt as a terminal. The prompt is a two-line prompt like this one, you'll need zsh for it. Also, he uses XMonad, a tiling window manager, which doesn't draw any window decorations, so there's no close/maximize/minimize buttons or title bar. Good luck getting into them all, you're in for quite a journey.
