How to populate values of KATR fields in additonal customer Data in XD02

i have a requirement to populate valutes in KATR(attribute) fileds in addtional cutomer data screen of XD02
I have to group few attributes into and then if we give data in one attribute, the other attributes must give the possible value.
please provide any code and user exit available to handle this.

in the user exit i was able to write the logic to poupulate the KATR fields but they are not stored in KNA1 field, need suggestions for this.......

I dont think this can be achieved through configuration. You could try to use the available user exits ( IQSM0005 Customer exit in update and IQSM0007 Customer exit for goods movements) to update the vendor number in the equipment master.

How to populate value in other field after entering in one field?

when i enter value in one field , automatically some xyz value should be populated in second field. How would this be possible without any enter? I mean i don want to perform any action like press enter or like that.

You coud also use "TimedTrigger" UI element for the same and you can specify the "delay" value in seconds.
Suppose if you enter x value.
After X seconds it will trigger the particular action associated to UI element.
My suggestion would be that you generate this UI element Dynamically when you expect end user to enter the value in the input field and system would keep invoking the method and as soon as your objective is met, Delete the UI element .

Debug the standard code and see where the other fields are getting update. you can use the similar approach and area to code for the new field.

Thanks for direction. Let me give more context on this as I'm interested to get more details..One of the issue was to read cross entity field values on UI based on user action and set other entity field behaviour...It is similar to what is being posted here.
For ex: Reading MTART from Basic Data UIBB in MM MDG UI and set the field properties in some other custom entities say ZZETEST. This cannot be done using UI BADI as it only supports single entity at a time and not cross entity. So alternatively we found a solution where we can enhance existing PLMB feederclass cl_mdg_bs_mat_feeder_form by reading the model and the entity as needed as it it proved that it supports cross entity UI field behaviours and so business requirements.
This is a workaround for now.
So the question is How do we achive it using governance API for cross entity field behiaviours.?or what is the right way doing this.
Can we do that using governance API and its' methods?
In the Governance API doc you provided below has referring to below external model as part of gevernance API.
The active or inactive data (before or during the derivation or the check) can be read
with the external data model interface IF_USMD_MODEL_EXT with the method READ_CHAR_VALUE and
the corresponding READ_MODE parameter. To avoid unnecessary flushes (derivations), the NO_FLUSH
parameter should b
e set to ‘X’.

if you want to display a fixed values in the dropdown you can use list box ui and can specify values there
or if u want to display values from the context node of the webdynpro
1. Drag and drop a Value Help Drop-down List element from the Web Dynpro Library tab to the Body Pages pane.
2. Drag and drop your node from the Data View tab onto it. This action binds the layout element to the corresponding node.

I checked with the screen and report which is mentioned by you. But I want to modify/make changes that should appear in the screen when you view details for a particualar employee in Qualifications(IT0024).
Please refer the screen 2000 of module pool MP002400 in SE80. In that screen I want to make change as listbox with key.
Can it be achieved in the same way as mentioned by you before by making standard SAP report as Z and then modify using layout editor?

First create a attribute with the name readonly of type wdy_boolean and bind it read_only property of input field of which is you want to enable or disable.
Next go to Init method.
Set the readonly value as 'X'.

User cant put any value there.value comes only from the value help.

Yes it is possible.
1.Create a context Attribute and then bind this attribute to the Text view UI element.
2. read context attribute and then set value to the context attribute like this way.
DATA:

Hi Experts,
I have a Report requirement where in I need to Populate values for FROM Period & TO Period based on the user i/p for Quarter variable.
For Eg;
Fiscal year : 2009
Quarter : 3
Mat     Year         From period    ToPeriod          QTY

There are no fields FROM Period or TO Period in Cube.I need to populate them in the report directly.

How to populate values of field symbols?

I need to pass values into a field-symbol (defined as a dynamic Work Area) and append the values later on into another field-symbol (defined as a dynamic Table) by inserting the work area to the table. The insert statement in the screen shot below is syntetically correct but when I uncomment
*      <gw_itab>-tplnr = 'TPLNR'.
*      <gw_itab>-pmsog = 'PMSOG'.
*      <gw_itab>-k_pro = 'K_PRO'.
I get a syntax error. During debugging if I pass the values of the work area, they are properly appended into the table.
Could somebody show me the code on how to atain this programatically?

From the short dump:
"<GT_ITAB> has line type "v" and the length 24, but the work area has line type "g" and the length 8".
The code you included in your first screenshot is not the code that it dumped on... Looking at the shortdump here's what you have.
lv_fieldname = '<GW_ITAB>-TPLNR'.
assign (lv_fieldname) to <gw_itab>.
<gw_itab> = 'TPLNR'.
insert <gw_itab> into table <gt_itab>.
This code doesn't make any sense...
What you're saying is:
<gw_itab> points to <gw_itab>-tplnr. So now it points to just a field of the structure, not the whole structure.... Then you say that field is set to 'TPLNR'. So you set the field of the original structure called TPLNR to be the string "TPLNR"...
If that's really what you're trying to do then try changing it to:
field-symbols: <field> type any.
lv_fieldname = '<GW_ITAB>-TPLNR'.
assign (lv_fieldname) to <field>.
<field> = 'TPLNR'.
insert <gw_itab> into table <gt_itab>.

How to copy value from one field to another in a Apex Form

Hello guys,
There are 2 addresses one is shipping and other is billing. I do not want the customer to re-enter all the details if it is the same address. So based upon an action, it should take the live values from one address field and populate the other address field. I know in JS you can do it, but how to implement that in Apex?
I guess using Dynamic Actions to achieve this in Version 4 but do not know how. Read quite some info but no luck.

I have assumed that you have your shipping address at the top of the page, and then further down the page you have your billing address that you want to enable the users to copy (if this is in reverese, you will need to switch the js variables in the code following).
I would create a Select List item above the 'Billing Address' details, called PX_SAME_ADDRESSThis select list would be static, with the options Null.
I also assume you would have pairs of address page items such as:

(In Subsitution I am going with constant value to be replaced), I am defining it for Callup point 1, but it is not working.
