I worked on bi publisher report in 11i, but in 12i the process is bit different.

Create On load process in page 1 and put this code

Open your region in Page 1 put this code in Footer area
*&P1_DATE.*
Refresh your page.
you will get the output like this.

It's look like you are assuming that an organizational model can be created from external data input via a report. If so, then your assumption is wrong. There is no standard way to create a org. model from external input.
As a standard practice SAP provided a report as mentioned in the previous reply. Using this report you can download ECC/R3 org. model into SAP CRM. This is the easy and best proven way of generating org. model in SAP CRM.

How to PRINT DATA in classical report when ever execute

All ABAP experts,
     I am updating PM work order in IW32 by using BADI, with addition to success or error log i need to display data in basic list and also system has to print that data automatically by using system's default printer. User can not press print button in basic list because sometimes this program will schedule in background, due to this user wants see upload results in a print out.
         I dont know how to write logic to get output like this. Please can anyone share how to write logic for this issue.
Before posting this issue i search in forms but I didnt get appropriate solution.

Our client has two BW servers: BW 3.1 and BI 7. BW 3.1 contains lots of data models and reports. And the BI 7 server is newly installed.
Now we want to copy these data models and reports from BW 3.1 to the new BI 7 server. Are there any solutions for this?

Hi Frank,
Sounds like a cross version transport is needed.
This is a solution we have used to do what you want to do:-
Create and release a transport as per normal.
Copy and transport the files from the source system (BW 3.1) e.g /usr/sap/trans/data & /usr/sap/trans/cofiles to the same folders on the target system.
Basis help is needed here.
From here onwards using stms_import should help you in the normal manner.
Works a treat.
Have transported the following all correctly appearing as 3.x data models in NW2004s.
DSO objects.
Cubes
Transfer/Update rules
Reports.

How to print date & time in photos

Thanks for the help.
I need to print either photos with time and dates in them... or the Bridge contact sheet with date and time info.
The final printed image will be used in court to photo document evidence.
Do I have to do a screen capture or is there some other way?
My camera will not allow me to imprint time and date.
I'm using CS4 on both Windows and Mac.

Hi! I would like to know how to exctract data from a report to use it in a process. Let's say that I have a report which have following fields: id_person, name_person. And then, I want to make a process which introduce the id_person (from report) into an associative tabel. How can I reffer to the fields from my report?
I was thinking about something like that( this should be the code from my process)
insert into associative_table(id_person)

Another option, use collections.
Create an on load process that loads all the rows you would have in your report into a collection:

Then, instead of your report selecting from the table, have it select from the collection, this way your display will match what's in the collection:

Then you can have a button on the form that steps through the collection, one element at a time and does whatever you want it to.

hi,
If your requirement is to display date with box,first create a Box by using following syntax
* &sy-datum&
/: BOX XPOS '0' CH YPOS '3.65' LN WIDTH '77.50' CH HEIGHT '4.5' LN FRAME '10' tw
then adjust the box size according to your requirement by changing xpos,ypos,width and height

I've also got this error several times. Usually the reason is an error in the Publisher query (or data template). It's better to first test (view) that you get a proper xml-output in Publisher, and only after that try to create an rtf-template. If this doesn't work, I usually start from the beginning, and first make a very simple report, then try the template, and if it works, then gradually increase elements for the Publisher side. Sometimes I haven't got any idea why it didn't work at the first place, when it then works after beginning from the simple report.
