How to process a cvs file in vbscript

I have a several folders on a server with part of the computer names.  The computer names are csimpam3353726, csimpam3379465, etc. The Folder names are just the numbers.  3353726, 3379465, etc...  These folders contain the favorites for each
of the computers that I am rebuilding.  After rebuilding them I hope to copy the files back to the computer from a remote location and would like to do them in a batch.  I have a comma delimited file with these number.  Each file
has 8 or the computers.  An example of the file looks like this
3353726
3379465
3354564
3394564
3376459
3356487
3324567
1956454
I can name the file whatever and usually it is located on a server at location like \\localserver\itshare\favorites
What I want to do is create a simple vbs or bat file that can read one comma delimited file at a time and copy the favorites back to the computers after they are done rebuilding.  I currently process them in a bat file one at a time but would love to
be able to process them 8 at a time as that is how the list is set up.  some flexibility as to the number of computers on the list would be great too like if there is only 5 or 6 computers listed in the cvs file.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
there are no alternatives - you must call imp with all properties on the command shell out of the process flow.

  • How to process large data files in XI  ?  100 MB files ?

    Hi All
       At present we have a scenario as follows
      It is File to IDoc ....Problem is the size of the file
      We need to transfer 100mb file to SAP R/3 system ? So this huge data how to
      process ?
    Adv thanx and regards
    Rakesh

    Hi,
    In general, an extra sizing for XI memory consumption is not required. The total memory of the SAP Web Application Server should be sufficient except in the case of large messages (>1MB).
    To determine the memory consumption for processing large messages, you can use the following rules of thumb:
    Allocate 3 MB per process (for example, the number of parallel messages per second may be an indicator)
    Allocate 4 kB per 1kB of message size in the asynchronous case or 9 kB per 1kB message size in the synchronous case
    Example: asynchronous concurrent processing of 10 messages with a size of 1MB requires 70 MB of memory
    (3MB + 4 * 1MB) * 10 = 70 MB With mapping or content-based routing where an internal representation of the message payload may be necessary, the memory requirements can be much higher (possibly exceeding 20 kBytes per 1kByte
    message, depending on the type of mapping).
    The size of the largest message thus depends mainly on the size of the available main memory. On a normal 32Bit operating system, there is an upper boundary of approximately 1.5 to 2 GByte per process, limiting the respective largest message size.

  • How to process an XML file if I don't now it's name before execution time .

    Hi All,
    I've a problem that some of you may be already covered.
    Basically i have to process some XML files (with the same structure) without prior knowledge of their filenames.
    The question is, how I've to modify the jdbc url of the XML datastore to use a variable and not an hardcoded filename ?
    Example:
    At the moment I'm using the following url :jdbc:snps:xml?f=c:/oditest.xml&ro=true&dod=yes
    but I would like to replace the hardcoded filename (c:/oditext.xml) with a danamyc variable refreshed at run time.
    Thanks a lot for your help

    Hi I've found the solution :

    Hello Gurus,

    XI 7.0 with latest sp
    Thanks so much in advanced,
    dn

    Thanks guys for a quick response!
    As mentioned above, we had already configured to handling "Process empty files" and were able to have the files polling successfully. The problem that we are facing is that, the output file were never created or delivered to the receiver directory. We want all files to process and deliver to the recipients even though it is an empty file.
    Thanks,

  • How to process Idoc status file within Sap?

    Hi All,
    We would like to process received status file to update the sent IDOC's. Our current setup is that we send/push  the Outbound Idoc to external EDI sub system and pull the status file for processed Idoc from external EDI system to our R/3 server.
    Sap Documentation explains the scenario, where this process is triggered from external system using startrfc program, whereas our scenario is to trigger the status update process, once the file is pulled to our system from unix using edi_status_incoming function module.
    Your anwers are much appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Sandhya

    Hi Sandhya,
    Once the Idocs are sent to the EDI Subsystem, the SAP will have the status that the Idoc has reached the partner sub system. I hope, the workflow should be able to trigger back the status file to the SAP System after the Idoc is processed at the EDI Subsystem.
    Please check with the workflow that is attached.
    Else, if this is using the FM or Message Control, then check the configuration under MN04.
    I'm also trying to find the solution for the same.

    -Syed.

  • How To Process an XML File

    Hi All
    Clasic ASP
    MySQL
    Win 2K Server
    I have an XML file that is uploaded from clients via a
    browser which
    contains job data. Once uploaded I need to process it into a
    MySQL DB using
    classic ASP.
    The file contains 3 lots of elements under the main job
    element; these are:-
    <job_detail>
    <engineers>
    <materials>
    The upload and save aspect I can do no problem what I need to
    do is read the
    file and process each job detail record, each engineer detail
    record and
    each materials record into a database, something on the lines
    of:-
    Upload file from client
    Save file to disk
    Open XML file
    Select all job records
    Loop through and process job records
    Select all engineer records
    Loop through and process engineer records
    Select all material records
    Loop through and process material records
    How do I select the job detail, engineer and materials
    records, into say an
    array or a recordset for example. (if someone feels there is
    a better way
    then please feel free to suggest.)?
    An example of my XML file is below

  • How to process Large Image Files (JP2 220MB+)?

    All,
    I'm relatively new to Java Advanced Imaging, so I need a little help. I've been working on a thesis that involves converting digital terrain data into X3D scenes for future use in military training and applications. Part of this work involves processing large imagery data to texture the previously mentioned terrain data. I have an image slicer that can handle rather large files (200MB+ jpeg files). But it can't seem to process jpeg 2000 data. Below is an excerpt from my code.
    public void testSlicer(){
    String fname = "file.jp2";
    Iterator readers = ImageIO.getImageReadersByFormatName("jpeg2000");
    ImageReader imageReader = (ImageReader) readers.next();
    try {
    ImageInputStream imageInputStream = ImageIO.createImageInputStream(new File(fname));
    imageReader.setInput(imageInputStream, true);
    } catch (IOException ex) {
    System.out.println("Error: " + ex);
    ImageReadParam imageReadParam = imageReader.getDefaultReadParam();
    BufferedImage destBImage = new BufferedImage(256, 256, BufferedImage.TYPE_INT_RGB);
    Rectangle rect = new Rectangle(0, 0, 1000, 1000);
    //Only reading a portion of the file
    imageReadParam.setSourceRegion(rect);
    //Used to subsampling every 4th pixel
    imageReadParam.setSourceSubsampling(4, 4, 0, 0);
    try {
    destBImage = imageReader.read(0, imageReadParam);
    } catch (IOException ex) {
    System.out.println("IO Exception: " + ex);
    The images I am trying to read are in excess of 30000 pixels by 30000 pixels (15m resolution at 5 degrees latitude and 6 degrees longitude). I continually get an OutOfMemoryError, though I am pumping up the heap size to 16000MB when using the command line.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
    In general, an extra sizing for XI memory consumption is not required.

  • How EOIO processing works with FILE to RFC dapter? Pls help!

    Hi Experts,
        I have a FILE to RFC scenario.
        FILE ---> XI ---> RFC(R/3 System)
        In the sender FILE communication channel I have setup QOS as EOIO. After reading the file, XI sends the file data to RFC function module in another R/3 system. The RFC function module is Async that is, there is no Export parameter. It only has import or input parameters. Also in RFC receiver communication channel there is no option where I can provide QOS as EOIO.
       Will the RFC function module process the input request message using EOIO that is, using a Queue?
       Do I have to do something in RFC function module so that it receives and processes the input request in EOIO?
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi Gopal,
    You do not need maintain EOIO in receiver, only in sender.
    RFC adapter does not support EOIO at all.
    You have to change that scenario to ABAP proxy.
    see stefans reply
    ABAP Proxy Receiver Asynchronous EOIO

  • How to work with raw files from Nikon D600 in Lightroom 3

    I need to know how to process my raw files from my Nikon D 600 camera in Lightroom 3.6 and Photoshop 4?
    Message title was edited by: Brett N

    Support for the D600 was added in Lightroom 4.2.
    Updates are no longer released for Lightroom 3. The final update, 3.6, did not support the D600, so you cannot open raw files from this camera natively.
    You can use the DNG Converter to change your NEF files into open source DNG files that will open in any version of Lightroom, including 3.

    I HAVE READ ALL the possibilities with java coding in the module tab etc. etc.
    JUST is there "simple' way to solve this.

    Hi Meinhart,
    I think you need to go with Conversion agent here.

  • FCC file channel cannot process the empty file

    Hi,
    My requirement is like that a msg mapping getting two files from different sources and combining into one file and send to the receiver. There is a possibility that any one of the file can be empty.. now  problem is how to process the empty file in FCC file channel. When we trying to process the msg we are getting the error msg like "file end of exception". we already check the option empty file in file comm channel....under processing tab. But no use.Though we achieved through a module in sender channel. i want to know how to achieve this through simple content conversion by the FCC channel.
    In Content conversion. Record----> item,.. here what is mean ''? 0 to outbound or 1 to outbound?
    Regards
    Balaji

    Hi Balaji,
    here what is mean ''? 0 to outbound or 1 to outbound*
    means 0 to unbounded.
    Let me remind u ... the requirement cannot be achived in this way.. if file is empty.
    I hope u already checked the option..
    process empty files.
    I think u can handle this by, using a adapter module, in which..
    if file size(ASMA) is zero.. create a empty message and send it
    to the PI.
