I just upgraded from Elements 6 for a mac to Elements 9. I have about twenty or so actions I've downloaded into Elements 6. Does anyone know how I might import these actions into Elements 9? I'm hoping there is an easier way than importing them each one by one from the original files.....Thanks!

I was about to post to ask Paul what advantage there is in Exporting/Importing Projects over simply converting the Library as kbeat suggests.
Then I reread the original post and realized that what you are trying to do is combine the two libraries.

How do i import actions into photoshop's creative cloud version

I keep getting a message that I need administrator access

I am using Windows 8 on this particular computer.
I did get it figured out though. I am the only user on the machine and had
to reset my settings as the administrator to get the actions to import. All
is good now.

Z-Button - How to call a Action Profile to Open a PDF-Doc. within an Event?

we have created a Z-Button that afterwards creates an event. In the coding for the event an Action Profile should be called and a PDF-Document should be opened. We have copied the coding from the standard button 'Print Preview' which is calling the standard event: EH_ONPRINT_PREVIEW.
We have also defined a Z Action Profile which is a copie of SERVICE_CONFIRMATION. Our problem is we don't know how why our Z-Action Prodile is not called? What is the class lr_actioncontext (TYPE REF TO cl_crm_bol_entity)?

Default Import Action in the Match records tab in Import Manager

Hi All,
In one of the requirements, I tried importing the data to MDM system from a source XML. The map was already existing and I used the same to work out the import. The same is working fine in the other environment however Development shows some different behaviour.
I got following Default import actions after selecting the matching fields.
4 of 4 Single None Skip - Changed to Create
0 of 0 Single Exact Skip - Updated (All mapped values)
0 of 0 Multiple Exact Skip [I want to make this field as update(all mapped values). However I am only getting two options to be selectied here "Skip" & "Replace". how can I enable the other two options to be selected in Default import action and save the updated map]
I am currently on MDM7.1 SP05.
I tried verifying the field and value mapping, configuration options and it is same as in the othe systems in the environment.
Can someone help me resolve this asap?

you are right. My Dev and Preprod are in Sp5 and Prod is in SP3 at the moment.
However there's no need for me now to use replace since the intended functionality is met with the earlier two option.

How to add live action video to the timeline in Adobe Flash CS5?

Hi, I want to make an animation over live action footage, I've looked on the guides and the ones which explain what I need to do are for previous versions of Flash and don't work on CS5.
I'm wondering how I can import a video in to Adobe Flash CS5, so that it plays in the timeline frame by frame? I dont mean putting it on one frame so it will play, but so i can edit objects over the top of the flash in each single frame

So are you saying that you cannot embed the video directly into the main timeline (I don't use CS5) as you could with earlier versions?
Overall I wonder if you are using the wrong tool for the job. Flash is not a video editor and attempts to use it as such often fall short. Adobe After Effects or even a simple video editor may work better:

.... embed video directly into main timeline... or
... convert video file to .swf, then import .swf... extending timeline as needed..... or
... if vid is short, do frame grab for each frame, save as bitmap, import the series of bitmaps, place them on layer below animation... or
but to keep the video synced to the animation, you'll need to set the Flash doc frame rate to exactly the same as the original framerate of the video. For example, if shot in mini-dv format, the frame rate of the video is 29.97 so the Flash doc frame rate would need to be 29.97 also.

How to use the action OnExpandAll on UI element Tree

I am in WDA developing project and developing the screen which has Tree .
I want to expand all nodes when users click the button on the head of Tree .
I copied the application `WDT_TREE` and created Tree of my application successfully .
And I created the action OnExpandAll on my Tree and tried to create the function to expand all nodes .
But I do not know how to use the action OnExpandAll .
I can see the button to start action OnExpandAll on the head of Tree .
I am trying to write logic in the action . But it does not work successfully .
(In my tree , when I click the button for OnExpandAll , all nodes are outputted on root node .
Because my logic is wrong ... )
Please give me any hints .

As your case it is a recursive node.
then you have to create method and call it recursively for the expanall functionality.
do it like this.
create an attribute the node FOLDER
name = 'ISEXPANDED'
type = WDY_BOOLEAN.
Now bind the property expanded of treenode FOLDER UI to this attribute.
now go to the methods tab and create one method say name ZEXPANDALL.
in thsi method make one importing parameter of type ( type ref to ) if_wd_context_node. and name NODE.
then write the following code in this method.

HP Support Assistant not responding: Red Exclamation Mark+ Important action needed

I am using HP PC model Phoenix H9 1325in with windows 8. HP support icon is showing red exclamation mark with a message Important action needed but when I click nothing works and no options are given. Next button is not working.
How to resolve this issue? Please help.

Follow the below mentuion steps:-
1. Create an action say 'TM' at the img path mention below:-
Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Actions->Set up personnel actions
2. Create action reasons also at the link below:-
Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Actions->Create reasons for personnel actions
3. Add the termintaion action in the Action menu of your country:-
Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Actions->Change action menu
4. Define infogroup for your termination action below:-
Personnel Management->Personnel Administration->Actions->Define infogroups
Usually, IT0001, IT0002, IT0014, IT0015, IT0041 are set up in the infogroup action. Also, get the requirements from your customer like which all infotype he will like to delimit.
5. Most important is to set the Inactive status for the employee
Go to table T529A and set the status as '0' in the employment field 'STAT2'.

I am using codes mentioned in this tread but getting one exception at the time when SAP is trying to save the changes for the change process action data. I am able to run the change process action programmatically ( successfully ) and when i enter some data for the change process action and press the execute button, I am getting one exception. I have attached the exception in this text. Can any one please give any clue why this exception is coming and what else I need to do?

Hey guys I wrote a very simple actionscript 3 file outside of a ActionScript 3.0 project in Flash CS5.5, I'm trying to figure out how can I import my as3 file. So how can I do that?

To add the code to into the file, first create a layer in the timeline and label it "Actions" or something that tells you the code will be in that layer. Then select the first frame (if that is the frame you want it to be in) while the Actions panel is opened. Once you have selected the frame, any code you type/copy into the Actions panel will apply to that frame, and potentially all other frames down the timeline from it (depends on the code you enter... some code only applies to that frame, such as a stop() command or an event listener assignment)
