How to put Oracle form to intranet

Hi, I am trying to put some Oracle forms to the company's intranet and have several questions.
1) I was told that the company installed the Oracle web server in one of the NT machine. But the person who set it up already left without leaving any documentation. So how do I know where the web server is installed? (I was told that the DBAs and web team of the comapny didn't get involved at all, so they won't have any information.)
2) The guidline book for Developer 2000 said that due to Java limitation the web server and the form server must be installed on the same server. How do I verify that my form server is installed correctly?
3) I followed the static HTML file template provided with the Developer 2000 guildline book. For the CODEBASE parm I am supposed to put in the virtual directory that points to the physical directory of the ORACLE_HOME\forms50\java\. Is there anyway for me to find out the name of the virtual directory?
4) How do I find out the port number for the serverPort?

Please let me know how to put the form or block in Query mode , so that when i run the form it should be in Query mode . I have seen properties of SET_FORM_PROPERTY and SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY but cannot find one

QUERY mode? Did you mean, that you can only QUERY without changing data.
This is the QUERY-ONLY-mode, which can be started e.g. call_form
this is the help for that topic:

There is no automatic way to do this in JDeveloper. I know there are some Oracle Partners offering forms to java conversion, I don't know how much of their tools are automated and done with JDeveloper. With JDeveloper+ADF you basically rewriting the Forms application from scratch (and using ADF is helpful during this process).

How compatible is Oracle forms with OCX / ActiveX components

How compatible is Oracle forms 6.0 with OCX / ActiveX components?
IFve got to very nice activeX controls (ctSchedule and ctMday)
from DBI-TECH(www.dbi-tech.com) but they donFt work properly
within Forms. They work great within VBA (word).
Sometimes they donFt display things well or donFt react to the
mouse in the properly manner.
What can be wrong os is Oracle forms not 100% activeX compatible.

I do not know much about Simply Accounting, however, if the Crystal Reports can be integrated with this software, then their tech support would be the best one to answer the issue with limited access to reports.
Secondly, if you can get an ODBC driver for your Simply Accounting, you might be able to create reports in Crystal reports (Again with no guarantee as Simply Accounting does not fall in the supported platforms for Crystal Reports).
I would suggest you to contact the tech support of Simply Accounting to know if there is any specific version of Crystal reports that works best with your software.
It is simple to create highly professional reports with Crystal reports and you can either refer to the help included with the software or can log on to SAP support site and download the Crystal Reports user's guide to get step by step instructions on creating reports.

If you had looked at data dashboard and some of the other links on Android, you would see that you cannot run a LabVIEW app on Android. Nor can you use a serial port. With Data Dashboard, you have a pc running LabVIEW and it publishes to network shared variables. Data Dashboard on the Android allows you to view those variables.

for development, you need to install Oracle Developer
Suite 10g. This includes Forms and Reports.this topic interests me too, because I've downloaded Developer Suite and Database (both for 10g) from Oracle website, installed them, but I couldn't connect to a database.
What should be done for me to create a database link and be able to connect locally, in my personal Desktop computer? (Not to a server)
Once it was told me here that I should download 10g Database - I did it, and installed it, but it didn't work. Later, some of my job partners said I should install them in a sequence - that is, 1st the Developer, and 2nd the Database. But it has failed too. And I don't know how to configure a database connection.

Can you please explain more regarding to move setup from DEV to PROD instance.The steps are documented in the iSetup manual, so have you gone through the documentation?
Also we would install PROD with multi tier nodes, and HA cluster. So in that case what would be the change to move the setups from DEV to PROD, as DEV is single node TEST APPS 12 installation.iSetup is helpful in moving the functional setup between the two instances. If you want to create an identical copy of your DEV instance to PROD instance (provided that both instances contain no data), then you can use "Rapid Clone" -- See (Note: 799735.1 - Rapid Clone Documentation Resources, Release 11i and 12).

Put Oracle Form in Oracle 9iAS

I have developed a Oracle Form which can display through the web browser. How can I put it in a Porlet?
Do I have to add any provider ?
(Also, I have a Oracle Report. How to display it through portlet?)

I did this by creating an HTML portlet, then copying the code from the HTML file that calls the form into the HTML box for the portlet. I had to edit the tags a little to make it display properly, but I don't have my notes handy as to what I did. It worked reasonably well, but was not an official Portal component, so was not maintainable via the Portal interface.

We have ORACLE forms application, which is deployed in OC4J Instance in application server.
There are some modules, which are developed in Java/J2EE, which are invoked from Oracle forms application. Currently this java application is
deployed in separate OC4J instance.
Could you please help us how to combine this forms +J2ee application in single ear file,
And this ear file has to be deployed in one OC4J instance.
