How to re-install Adobe software on new computer which does not have a disc drive? [was: Software Transfer Debacle]
I just received a new computer for Christmas and I'm wondering if there is a way to transfer the software I installed on my old computer to my new computer. But wait, there's more, my new computer does not have a disk drive. Any ideas?
Very easy. Tell me what version Photoshop you have and I'll direct you to the proper downloadable installer file.
Have your serial number ready. You can activate on 2 computers, so don't deactivate the old one until you are updated and sure it works on the new one.
As a side note: You never copy or transfer Photoshop to a new computer, you have to install.

Make sure you have cookies enabled and clear your cache. If it continues to fail try using a different browser.

How to activate CS4 on new Mac which does not have CD/DVD drive?
One answer to this elsewhere in the foum was to copy the discs to a thumb drive, then copy them to the new computer, then use those to install CS4 (or any pre-Cloud version) on the new machine. This works for disc-1. But there's no way to "install" disc-2 or to make the half-complete installation process pick up disc-2. How can I install CS4 on my new Mac?

I have macbook air with no disc drive. However, I recently was given some cookbook software as a gift and it is in disc form. Wondering if there is an easy way to get this new software onto my mac. Was hoping I could upload the software to another PC and then burn it to a thumb drive and switch it over that way.Thoughts on if this is doable??

I just purchased a camera packaged with Adobe photoshop Elements 11. I have a mac book air- which does not have a cd drive. The package did not come with a code or anything that would provide me with another way to install photoshop that came with my camera. Is there any other way i can install this on my camera without using the provided cd or buying the software again?
That doesn't help the user with the serial code though.
