How to receive the images / binary data t ype
How to receive the images / binary data type in webdynpro....
i have a website that let's the user send email, the email attachment and message are stored in both in images data type....
q1) can i stored the message into binary data type...but the message is very long.....
q2) if i have a textbox ...i surely will need to display the message in string ,right ?
[......... msg here ........]
what is the codes to receive the images / binary data type in webdynpro....
As in your previous post if you are storing them as BLOB object.. am sure you are able to get a byte stream or byte array(bytes[]) out of it.
There should be some way to identify if its a image or a message BLOB. If its a image , convert into bytes and use
WDWebResource.getWebResource(bytes,resource type).getAbsoluteURL()
to obtain the url.. assign this image UI element..
In case its the message , use bytes.toString to get the message ..

How to add an image - binary data is present in data interface
Hi,
we have the requirement that an image (e.g. pie chart) has to be present in a print form. Based on the data, the image always differs. It is not possible to set an URL to get the image so we decided to store the binary data in the data interface.
Is it possible to map the image control to the data structure?
How can we store the binary content of an image in the data structure (please think about unicode and non-unicode ERP systems)?
Do you have any idea?
Thank you very much.
ThomasHi Thomas,
You need to create an image field and in the source choose 'graphic content ; give the name of the variable which has the binary data . and give the type as 'MIME/image'. -

I have created a file object for the image file in the system temporary directory. Now I want to display it in my page. please tell,How to print the image data stored in object(in my program it is imgr) of 'java.io.File' Class in jsp
Create a servlet which gets an InputStream of the file and writes it to the OutputStream of the response and call this servlet in `src` attribute. That's basically all.
Here's an example which covers the most of the minimum needs: [http://balusc.blogspot.com/2007/04/imageservlet.html]. -
How to receive the datas?
Look:
the first I create socket sk:
sk=socket(AF_INET, SOCK_RAW, IPPROTO_RAW);
and I fill data into Ip Head and Icmp Head,
then I sendto the packet,but I don't receive
any datas:
lenrecv=recvfrom(sk,buf,100,0,(struct sockaddr*)&addr,&rlen);
my codes run at the function recvfrom, but it
couldn't return variable lenrecv, and it look like down,
I want to know why?how to receive the data?
(I couldn't creat socket like this:
sk=socket(AF_INET, SOCK_RAW, IPPROTO_ICMP);
I want to know when I creat socket like this
sk=socket(AF_INET, SOCK_RAW, IPPROTO_RAW);

How to get the image stored in archieve link as an attachment in work item.
Hi All,
through transaction OAWD we are storing scanned images.
Once this transaction is executed a workitem appears in the inbox of the initiator with the scanned invoice as attachment.
When the user executes the work item FV60 screen is displayed where the user enters the data based on the scanned invoice attachment.
After the user Parks the document the custom workflow triggers and a workitem appears in the inbox of an approver.
Our requirement is that the scanned image should also appear as the attachment.
Can you please suggest how to get the image stored in archieve link as an attachment in work item.
Regards
ShraddhaHi Martin,
with every parked document a scanned image is linked.
I need to create a link under objects and attachments in the work item, such that when the user clicks that link the image is displayed.
At present the following functionality is available.
The BO used is FIPP
Objects and attachments:
parkeddocument:AK0108500001252008.(via FIPP binding with WIOBJECT_ID)
On clicking the link below objects and attachments: the parked document AK0108500001252008 opens in display mode.
Now we want to have 2 links:
parkeddocument:AK0108500001252008.
image.
When we click on the link image then the scanned invoice linked to the document should get opened.
I am able to get the image id of the the image through SAP_WAPI_GET__OBJECTS,
export parameter leading_object provides the detail.
But I am not able to figure out how to use it in my workflow to display it as an attachment.
Hope this will give a better understanding of my question.
can you please suggest as to how I should proceed with it. -
How to embed the Images in the java sourse
How to embed the Images in the java sourse
The size of the file will be too large while I put the binary code of the image into the java sourse!
thanksYou could encrypt them with a private key and then
decrypt them with a public key.
Almost had it... public key encryption works the other
way around... otherwise what's the point of
encrypting... if the decryption key is public?Spinoza's right. Public key encryption works both ways, but it would be useless in this case to encrypt with the private key. The problem is, how do you package your private key with the application in a way that doesn't allow the user to get it? Encrypt it? :-) I agree that there's no point to this exercize. If users want to screw up the application by editing its image files, let 'em. -
I've run into something that I can't explain, and I'm not sure how to work
around. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
We just got a new load of Dell Optiplex 745 machines. Unfortunately, the
imaging engine for Zen6.5sp2 doesn't include a NIC driver for it. So I
downloaded the Boot CD ISO for Zen 7, it is included there. I boot from the
CD and use the Imaging engine to load our image. In the past, our image
will load the machine and in the process, run ZisClearNT.exe to clear the
Image safe data. However, it seems that ZisClearNT isn't doing its job
properly. Zenworks attempts to restore the image safe data in the process
which isn't what I want.
Is there an incompatibility in the ZicClearNT and Zenworks 7 imaging engine?
I read somewhere about having changed where the image safe data is stored or
something.
Can anyone shed some light on the subject and perhaps let me know how to get
ZisClearNT to do it's job, it works perfectly under Zen6.5.
Thanks
Brian W.I found that engl has a tool that will clear it as well (ZisdCtrl.exe), I
can use that in my scripts (which is why I was using ZisClearNT in the first
place, it cleared it automatically during the boot process).
Thanks for the help.

How secure is the DocumentRevisions-V100 data for versions?
How secure is the DocumentRevisions-V100 data for versions? Im concerned that if I open and work on a Numbers or Pages document from an encrypted disk image, Versions would save an unencrypted version within the database, making the encryption useless. Does anyone know if this is a problem or not? If so, is it fixed with Mountain Lion?

I do not need the precise location or address, but a general description of how the data is maintained would be helpful. Security is absolutely essential, hence the reason why I am asking. To assume it is simply secure because it's a product by Apple, is not only only ignorant but foolish. If you do not know the answer then no need to reply.
Your question is just as foolish as your request to know details. You will not get them and that is the answer that I do know. You will not get ANY details, ever. When somebody says that "Apple knows details" -kind of funny to me, cause Apple does not exist in that sense - Apple is corporation and corporation uses people, so there are people who know answer to any question, they just will not disclose secure information. So anybody, even me or pvonk, for expample, can know, But people who does, will not release that info. My answer is not intended to help you, just to let you know that you will not get any info. Not foolish person would take a hint, you didn't. -

The pointer is a U32 that points to a memory location where the data is. It is not clear from the prototype whether the pointer points to data that is feeded to the dll, or returned from the dll.
If data is feeded, wire an array to this parameter, and set uFwLen to it's length.
If data is returned, you need to use some other api calls to get the data from memory...

Wiebe.

HOW TO FIND THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE IN VA02
hi
HOW TO FIND THE REQUIRED DELIVERY DATE IN VA02.
i want to display this field in my report. what is the fieldname and in which table it is ?Hi Jyothsna,
There are 2 dates when you say Requested Delivery Date
1. Header level in VBAK-VDATU is the field
2. At item level it is in the schedule line. VBEP-EDATU.
The relationship between item (VBAP ) and schedule line ( VBEP )is 1 to many. But there will be mutiple schedule lines only if you are using the scheduling functionality. Also note to check for confirmed quantity (VBEP-BMENG) to be greater than 0 and use that schedule lines EDATU date as Requested delivery date.

How to insert the image or logo into the table as a field in webdynpro abap
Hi Friends,
Please tell me how to insert the image or logo into the table as a field in webdynpro abap.........Hi Alagappan ,
In your view layout you take table UI element and then you bind it with some context nodes.
The attributes of your nodes comes as a field.
Now in these fields you can set various properties and image is one of them.
Go to ->
1. View Layout -> Right Click on ROOTUIELEMENTCONTAINER -> INSERT ELEMENT -> TABLE
2. Right click on table -> Create Binding.
Here you have to bind it with the appropriate context node.
You will get two properties here
a- Standard Cell Editor :- ( make it image )
b- Standard properties :- ( If required set image properties ).
3. If you want put image from out side then import it as a mime object and set the source of your table field ( used as a image )
also have a look :-

How to export the text edit data to excel file without splitting the data in excel file?
how to export the text edit data to excel file without splitting the data in excel file?
I have a requirement in SAP HR where in the appraiser can add comments in the area given and can export that to excel file. Currently the file is getting exported but the comments getting split into deifferent rows.
I want the entire comment to be fit in one row.
Please help.
Thank youHi,
if your text edit value is stored in 'lv_string' variable.
then before exporting the value to excel you have to remove CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE
that is '#' from the variable lv_string.
for that use code some thing like this.
REPLACE ALL OCCURRENCES OF CL_ABAP_CHAR_UTILITIES=>NEWLINE in lv_string WITH space.
I think this will do the trick.
