My hp dv5t it runs window vista home perimiom 64 bit has crashed and I tried to recover my window but the product key has some scratched I could notread the last 3 letters. Please help me.

The only way you will be able to recover it with the delivered operating system is with a recovery disk set.
Since the operating system has crashed you can't recover the Windows Vista product key with any utility I am aware of.
It sounds like it is time to purchase an operating system with activation key. It will not be easy to find a copy of Windows Vista for sale. Windows 7 is supported on your notebook. Drivers for Windows 7 are here. I recommmend that you use the 64-bit version.

I see a UUID number -- but that doesmt match the windows 8 5x5 code format. SO!

Which products have you tried? Have you looked at Magic Jelly Bean? Depending on the OS and software, some keys are not retrievable. You should also know that certain software are not transferable from one PC to another, reference the license terms of each for clarification.

There are so many products out there that claim to recover lost software license keys and all of the ones I've tried either recover only MS license keys or no keys at all. I'm trying to recover keys from my fathers old system to install on his new one and some of the products he used do not have the keys available. Anyone out there with a viable product key recovery tool that will get back more than just MS license keys?

How to recover the database when some of the archive log file get deleted.

I am facing a problem with Oracle database, which is related to archivelogs.
Our development database is running in archivelog mode, but we don't have backups scheduled and have no recovery catalog.
When the database was in running condition, disk got full, so some archivelogs were deleted manually.
After this they restarted the DB, and now DB is not coming up. Errors are as follows:

Hi,
Archive log files are the copies of redolog files.As redo log files are circularly overwritten,oracle generates archive log file of the corresponding redo logfiles being overwritten.So if you have a backup that dates back to 10 am in the morning and if your database creashed at 3 pm,you cannot use the redo log files alone as they have incomplete information.To completely recover the database upto 3 pm,you need archive log files generated between 10 am to 3 pm. In your case since you are missing one archive log file,you cannot perform complete recovery and hence would suffer data loss.

    Sideload key is a product key that is needed to be added to the device so that it can use Windows 8 apps that are not from the Store

    You do not need Windows 8.1 to use sideloading it will work on Windows 8.0 as well

woodwing seems to have a nice toolset to make it easier for sure... but I'm not sure that is the correct direction for
us. As we don't want to have to submit anything to Apple. Our needs are for internal use only and we would not be creating content for the public.
I don't follow the ePup process fully... PDF's we can load right onto the iPad. It's a real shame about flash not working as we can make some very slick flash content right out of indesign with little effort. (maybe the direction should be a Flash to HTML5 converter? Goto page commands assigned to buttons would be wonderfull if they worked but when you export the doc to PDF Acrobat complains that it is not compatible. When we export to flash it works like a charm on a PC.
Haven't found a good gudie for bookmarks yet... and if that would give us buttons on each page to move the user back and forth through the document.

How long a CS6 product key is valid?

Early this year I received as a gift a retail copy of CS6 Master Collection for Windows which came with the product key (serial number). I have not installed it yet on any computer. How long in the future is this product key valid? Can I install this CS6 copy a year or two from now? Will this product key be still valid at that time or does it have a time limit? Wil I be able to activate it after installation in the future?
     I do realize that Adobe does not support CS6 anymore, no updates, but the question is not whether I want to move to Creative Cloud subscription. The question is how long I can wait with the CS6 installation.

The CS6 serial number will be valid as long as Adobe servers used to activate the product are still running. In other words, CS6 products were perpetual licensed and so they are valid as long as you wish to use them.
It is interesting that you don't want to use for another year or two. Any reasons for this? In two years time we might have completely different technology so you may want to use the new technology rather than the old one.
Any way you should be alright in two years time.

Every preinstalled operating system is already activated so when you buy new notebook with preinstalled OS you have also bought one valid licence. This licence or used product key belongs to preinstalled OS version and cannot be used in any other case. With other words this product key is useless for you and you cannot use it for other OS version.
My question is: why do you want to have this key?

The key and the sticker placed on notebooks bottom side belongs to recovery image you got with your notebook and cannot be used for operating system activation.
With other words: if anyone installs Vista using Microsoft installation disc this key cannot be used for Vista activation. So don't worry about it.
Just be sure you have your recovery DVD on secure place and you can use it in the future for OS installation.
Even when you use this original Toshiba installation disc the licence key from the bottom must not be used.
