How to reinstall apps after moving itunes files

I love my iPad.
I use 100+ apps and the iPad everyday for work en privat, sync several e-mail accounts, read books, edit photo's, and so on.
I synced my iPad on my PC in our netwerk.
At one moment I discovered, that it was part of my roaming profile. It had a negative effect on the performance.
So I moved my itunes files (Apps, music, film) as a map to another location to speed things (signing on a PC) up.
I cleaned my roaming profile.
Last week my iPad surpised me; it started as if it was brand new. Everything on it was lost. Why this happend, I'll still don't know. Anyone?
Syncing with my PC to get it back didn't work. I now have an iPad with no more than the standard apps.
My e-mail was available though. pff...
I copied the itunes files (I can see all my iPad as ios.apps) back to its origional position within my roaming profile.
I thought, that after that, syncing my iPad would find te files and restore them. It didn't!
Does anyone know a way to accomplice this?
I don't want te rebuy all the apps i payed for again. Some were realy expensive (Navigon)
Can anyone tell me were the files for the iPad have to be stored/placed/replaced and which files have to be there?
What files and which function they have?
I'm despared. Can anyone help me?

Restore your iPhone with iTunes on computer. Very simple. If you have any problems, open iTunes on computer. Connect iPhone to computer. Hold both home and power buttons until iTunes recognizes iPhone in Recovery Mode. Usually takes about 20 seconds of holding both buttons. Click Restore Button of iTunes.

I wanted to move the C:\Muziek\Itunes to D:\Muziek\Itunes when I did, the question came if I wanted to move all files that where on C:\Muziek\Itunes to the "D\muziek drive.

What you want to check original location of tempdb files or when was it moved ? Like Praveen said after moving tempdb files a restart is required of SQL Server service.
If you are using SQL Server 2008 r2 and above you can use below query to find out server restart time
select servicename,last_startup_time from sys.dm_server_services
If you are using SQL Server 2008 and above, use below query
select sqlserver_start_time from sys.dm_os_sys_info
Make sure you have view server state permission to run the DMV's

Yes. And you should not have moved that folder. Put it back. To move your iTunes library move the folder from User's Music.

Apple doesn't sell the iLife apps on a disk any longer and Apple Care doesn't sell Apple software, the Apple Retail store does. The apps this "Apple emplyee" placed for free on your Mac are not the same versions of the apps that came preinstalled on the Mac and they are not the Mac App Store (MAS) versions. And they will not be udates by the MAS. You may be able to get updates through Software Update.
I doubt that it is a policy of Apple to have its employees installing the iLife apps from an old disk for free on 2nd hand Macs, so others trying to get this done may not be successful.

Filtering app search for "itunes file sharing"

Is there a way to do a filtered search in itunes for apps that support itunes file sharing? Looking by trial and error has not been all that productive. I've found a couple useful apps that use the itunes file sharing: Phone Drive, and Quick Password Manager. I'd also like to find a decent spreadsheet app, that's smaller in size than the giant Apple apps--trying to retain room for some music.
I don't use the cloud or wi-fi, so itunes file sharing is very useful for transfering files, etc. And if there is a app or method for syncing between itunes file sharing and my mac, that would be a bonus.

Anything actually stored in iTunes, docs, apps, ect, should be backed up. If you are bacing up the iPad to iTunes, those back ups files would be in Time Capsule (although I confess, I've never had to extract one).
As for apps themselves, they can always be redownloaded (both on the iPad and in iTunes on the PC).

I found out what caused the Script not running on CS3. In my workstation, there are multiple versions of ExtendScript Toolkit (cs, 2 and CS4). When I am working on the Script it default to the latest version which is ExtendScript Toolkit CS4, so it will refer to CS4, activate and launch CS4.
After pulling my hair finding the cause. I finally search and found ExtendScript Toolkit 2 which work for CS3. I shut down ExtendScript Toolkit CS4 and test the same exact Script . It works perfectly. So if you try to run this Script on CS3. Make sure at the prompt message to see if it will run on Adobe InDesign CS3, then it will run fine. In reverse, if you run the Script on CS4, make sure to check your ExtendScript Toolkit CS4 otherwise it will do nothing like I experienced. Great!
Below is my final code for the Script. This Script will capture all link elements' name as text file so I can search batch of elements from the central server for all pick up logos, images, artworks... to prep for my page assembly workflow. Hope this will help anyone have the same interest. All credit to Peter. Thank for all your help and support.

How do i play my videos in flash file after moving SWF file to website?

Hello all,
I am having some problems showing my videos in flash after moving it anywhere besides my computer.
I published my flash file once as a exe. file and sent it to another computer, where it all worked but my videos, which didn't show up at all.
I also published them as SWF files, then put them up on my free website (where i don't have access to the ftp) and the videos still aren't there.
The videos will play fine in an SWF file on my computer, but i am assuming when they are away from the videos, they don't have a source to access them.
I also tried sending the videos along with the SWF files when sending to other computers and it still doesn't work.
I now have a free hosted website (with wix.com if that makes any difference) with my flash work on, but no videos. I even tried to embed a youtube video into the scenes the videos are meant to appear, and put the videos on youtube, then i discovered you can't put that sort of HTML into flash.
Does anyone know how to show the videos on these sort of website, or even better, how to keep them in original file when sending them, so they show on other computers.
Sorry if I've waffled but I'm trying to clear up my situation .

i am using the website wix, so in order to put the swf file up you just click the "Upload SWF" button, so i don't know how i could put the videos along with the swf, the swf is just sat on the page once i upload it.
second, when using this type of website do you know how i'd go about giving the website the permissions to play flv files?

How to restore missing apps after a itunes sync?

Have iPhone 4 iOS 4.2.8
To install an app (Skype), my phone recommended I do it thru iTunes 10.5.2 (via usb tether)
Checked the sync box, selected the Skype app after I downloaded it in iTunes.
The sync process went thru a bunch of 'finding, removing, backing up' of my installed APPs.
When it was done, all my installed APPs were gone from my iPhone.
Tried doing the 'Restore' function, I believe.
That went thru some dialogs, but still no APPs were restored to my iPhone.
Some blogs say to use the 'Purchased' icon in the APP STORE app on the iPhone; there is no 'Purchased' icon. (there used to be, but not now)
Prior to Sycing I had more than 15 updates to install. I no longer have any updates, as the apps are gone I suppose.
Is there a back up of my iPhone APPS on my computer? The dialogs that were running and identifying the APPs that I have instaleld leads me to believe that iTunes was making a backup ,and that everything was fine.

When, if ever, was the last time you synced your phone with that computer? It sounds to me like you either set up a new sync relationship with a computer other than the one you normally sync to, or you set up a sync relationship for the first time since you got your phone. In either case, you apparently did not read the warning dialogs that popped up telling you that your phone would be erased and the contents would be replaced with what was in iTunes on the computer.
You're going to have to re-download the apps that you're missing now. It's easiest to do this from the computer (especially now that you have a sync relationship established).
On the phone, open the app store. Click on updates. Click on purchased. Select "Not on This iPhone" and donwload the ones you want.

How do I back up my Itunes files?

My computer hard drive is crashing and I really need to back up my itunes files. How do I do this??? I put the music on my flash drive, but it is not big enough to hold anything else... The easiest way is to just copy your entire iTunes folder (in My Music in your user's folder) to some other place. Then you can just copy it back to the same location when your drive is replaced and Windows reinstalled and set up.

Moving iTunes files/library to an external hard drive

My music library has outgrown my MacBook, so I've purchased an external hard drive which I'll use to store all my music. I've been able to find information on the apple site about consolidating and moving my iTunes folder to another location, which I've done. But this hard drive will not be hooked up to my MacBook, but to a MacBook Pro that will remain on my desk, mounted to the hard drive, while I access the tunes through iTunes on my MacBook.
The problem is uploading the transferred files into the iTunes software on my MacBook Pro. When I do this, I lose a lot of the tagging (numbers appear before song names, I lost information about track and disc numbers, and sometimes much more) and I certainly don't have my user ratings or play statsitics. How do I preserve this information while moving the files from my MacBook to an external drive and then uploading the library into iTunes on a different computer?
It's this last step of successfully uploading the files with all their correct data that I'm having trouble with.

I just bought a new hard drive, since my old 250 GB drive was maxed out (mostly music - I have 50,000 songs). I tried to do the standard consolidation method to move the songs over, but after 10 long attempts I kept getting an error. I'm going to try this method though - seems to be much more straightforward - I don't have ratings for my songs, so all I care about is getting the songs onto the new drive and having them play in itunes.

Moving iTunes files from PC to Mac

I have most of my iTunes files on my iMac and want to copy them into iTunes on my PC. I thought about moving them from the iMac onto a thumb drive and them importing them into iTunes on the PC, but don't know if the thumb drive can be used on both Mac and PC. If not, any other suggestions to move 4 GB of files the easiest way possible?

Format your thumb drive as fat32 and it will be read by both PC and Mac. If you have less than 4GB of music then you should be fine

Moving iTunes files to External Hard Drive

I just purchased an external hard drive to store iTunes songs and pictures, etc., and get those files off my laptop hard drive to create some room. Truth is, I really don't need to travel with my iTunes files.
I've copied the files to the new drive already. I've also changed the location pointer for iTunes files to the new drive. Problem is, if I look at the info on a song, iTunes still thinks the song is located in the old location on the laptop, which is true. How do I get it to recognize the new location? Delete all of the files from the laptop (scary)? Is there another way to get iTunes to point to the new location?

If you follow the steps in this article, it should work.
Just delete everything from your exHD and start over.

Also - naming your exHD a letter far down in the alphabet is a good idea.
E: F: and G: are frequently used by other USB devices, and if your exHD letter changes, you'll get all the ! marks again.
So name it K: or Q: or W:, something another USB is unlikely to use.

OWA can't be accessed after moving data files to new volume

Used the Move Files wizard in SBS Console to move Exchange files off of system drive to a storage drive. Wizard said move was successful. Opend Exchange management Console and verified path to files under Server/Mailbox.
I get this error and the details when trying to access OWA. Server and user names have been changed to protect the innocent. :)

Would you please let me know whether all users encounter the same issue? Or just some specific users? After
moving, did you
manually mount the mailbox database? If access mailbox via Outlook, will still encounter any issue?
In addition, please run Exchange BPA and
SBS BPA, then fix all that they can find and monitor the result.
