I believe the answer you are looking for is in the publishing preferences: under LMS advanced settings, look for the option: never send resume data.

Anyhow, selecting this option will stop resume data - so the lesson will treat even returning learners as new. Hopefully, this will work for you.

Select the bookmarks icon to bring up your bookmarks list.
There is an Edit button at the top right of the bookmarks selection window.
Select Edit and select the red ( - ) sign to the left of the bookmark that you want to delete.

I have Firefox 8 on my Windows 7 machine, and I'm trying to get rid of the 'Bookmarks Toolbar' Menu Item. I'd found a way, way back, to do that in an earlier version of Firefox on my XP PC, but I couldn't find anything on the web on how to do this in this release of Firefox.
I'm also having trouble getting rid of "Subscribe to this page" menu item.

How to remove all bookmarks in Firefox 3.6

I accidently added a lot of unwanted bookmarks. I tried removing it by going into Bookmarks tool bar and pressed control delete but this doesn't seem to be working. Is there a way to remove all of them?
I also tried right clicking each toolbar and pressing delete.
Any info you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

While in Firefox, go to Bookmarks> Organize Bookmarks> All Bookmarks> Bookmarks Menu> Select which bookmarks you wish to delete.

I should mention that the options appear to be limited to "bookmarks or no bookmarks." I don't think there is any built-in way to show some but not all of your bookmarks in the auto-suggest.

it is the first year of the second decade of the 21st century, is it now possible to remove the "unsorted bookmarks" in firefox that is freaking out everyone!??

The 2nd decade of this millennium started a year ago, according to my calendar. The new millennium started on Jan 1, 2000 - didn't it? 2000 thru 2009 is ten years on my abacus, and a "decade" equals ten, doesn't it?
The '''Unsorted bookmarks''' folder still doesn't have Delete avaiable in the contextual menus of either the Sidebar or the Library, in either 3.6.x or the 4.0betas - so we're stuck with that folder for awhile yet.
BTW, if you use the Bookmarks Menu bar drop-down you won't have to look at that folder.

Remove Old Bookmarks From Favorites

Hi,
Does any one know how to remove old bookmarks from the favorites list in the open file dialog from a web template?
Im on BI7
I have deleted the bookmarks using the transaction SA38 -> RSWR_BOOKMARK_REORG
When i try to open one of the deleted bookmarks in the dialog it errors and says they dont exist, but the link still stays.
Any Ideas.

Ive noticed there are two different ways of saving bookmarks/favorites:
If a bookmarks is saved in the bex portfolio you can delete it using SA38 -> RSWR_BOOKMARK_REORG, however this only seems to delete the bookmark in the backend as the link still remains in the portal in the open window, the link just throws and error saying it does not exist, still not sure how this link is cleared
The other is if they save it as a favorite, this can be deleted via the portal admin in the KM content under userhome and the specific user and favorites.
If i find out any more ill post back here.

There are quite a few ways to do this. You can go to the website in question and then click on the gold star in the address bar. This will give you the option to delete the bookmark and is probably the easiest method. You could also go to ''Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks'' and then ''ctrl click'' on the bookmark you want to remove and delete it that way.
You should take a look at the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-use-bookmarks Bookmarks Knowledge Base article]. It will give you all the information you need!

Firefox 4 places logo's before the titles in my bookmarks toolbar. I filled the toolbar with very small, abbreviated titles like grewhe, bank, bbclive, ns, hh, hhraw etc.
Have no need for logo's, on the contrary, they cause trouble because they use space.

isn't there some way to permanently remove an entry from the awesome bar? This is also a very annoying problem. If a site is a bookmark then sure it can be deleted from the drop down list, but the next time you go to the awesome bar it is there again. You need to understand my question.
As a user, I do not want to delete or eliminate all bookmarked sites.
On occasion, however, I only want to delete only a single or a few websites from their bookmarked status and stop them from appearing on the drop down list in the location bar.
So, for example, if I see in my drop down list:
Apples.com
Ardvarks.com
Airplanes.com
and all are bookmarked sites
and I just want to stop Ardvarks.com from appearing in my awesome bars' drop down list every time I enter the letter "A"
then that's what I want to do.
I do not want to stop Apples.com or Airplanes.com from appearing in the drop down list.
There must be a way to permanently stop Ardvarks.com from appearing everytime I look at the awesome bars' drop down list.

It easy to remove all those Nokia bookmarks links and folders. Just remove the bookmarks db file...
Use Y-Tasks (process & threads) to kill "FavoritesSrv.exe"
You need self sign Y-Tasks.
Then go to... C:\Private\100012a5 and delete...
DBS_101FD685_BrowserBookmarks.db
That's for FP 1 & FP 2 devices for FP 3 devices you need to copy the DBS_101FD685_BrowserBookmarks.db that I included a download link to, copy that to the C:\Private\100012a5, overwriting the original file!
Then restart your device...
After you do that the only folders that you will have by default are...
Web Feeds
Auto.Bookmarks
They are left because they are related to the browsers settings...
