Did you meant Windows Phone 8.1 xaml or silverlight? For silverlight, NavigationService.RemoveBackEntry() is there & for WP8.1 xaml(RT), you can use :
Frame.BackStack.RemoveAt(Frame.BackStack.Count - 1);

we are using windows server backup feature.. and we are backing up files and folders to remote shared location.
the problem that we are facing is that, we run this backup every day using a script to new folder (folder name=datemonthyear) , and after each 30 days we start deleting the oldest entry from the shared location
so its similar to the retention days feature of the dpm.
but the problem is that even though we delete the actual backed up folder from the shared location, its entry is still there and we can see that when we type Get-WBBackupSet
can any one tell me how to delete this entry whenever we delete the folder...
plz help me guyz.

We can use "wbadmin delete systemstatebackup" command line to delete old versions. If the backup storage location is full, Windows Server Backup automatically deletes the oldest backup version and only the latest backup will be available.

How to remove the black line from a stacked canvas at run time???

Hi All,
I've developed a stacked canvas within a content canvas, when I run the form the stacked canvas apeared with a black line takes it.
How to remove this line or how to disappear this line at run time??
I tried to do this by putting (no line) in tools palette to the line color tool after selecting the black line one and after selecting the stacked canvas another once, but this did not resolve the problem!
I need something else:
I put the stacked canvas at detail data block and it didn't appear since I execute query in master data block

u mean the border line? In stacked canvas property, select contour/outline and set it to none.
Make sure, the stacked canvas is behind the content canvas in the objectnavigator. Then check your
properties of the stacked canvas:
- Position on content canvas
- size
- size of clipping
Set stacked canvas property automatic visible to yes.
Make sure the stacked canvas is not overlayed by other stacked canvas or items.

How to remove a DNS entry from Network Preferences

When I checked Network Preferences today, I discovered 2 DNS servers listed in +System Preferences > Network > Ethernet > Advanced > DNS.+ There have never been any DNS servers listed there before.
One of them is my home router; the other is a server that to my knowledge I have never accessed. I did not add these servers to my system and have no idea how they got into my Network Preferences.
I would like to remove them but cannot find any way to do it. The addresses are greyed out and cannot be selected to be removed.
Yes, I unlocked the preference pane.
No, there are no DNS servers listed in my Airport configuration.
Both connections work fine.
I just want to remove the DNS server addresses.

I think I found the answer.
The grey DNS server entries are coming from my router. I can see them appear in the DNS pane when I connect the ethernet cable. Also checked my router and that's the DNS address specified in the router setup (Actiontec MI424WR). There is also no evidence of a potential DNSchanger/RSPlug/Jahlav trojan.
Based on info I found in the Verizon FIOS forums & DSLreports, the 71.242.0.12 address appears to be Verizon DNS server nsphil01.verizon.net, which would make sense as I have FIOS internet. But I don't quite understand why a WHOIS request on the address returns these server names: NS1.THOMASLORD.NET and NS1.ACCESSMYEMR.COM

I am having an array of movieclips and when my circle(controlled with the keyboard) hitTests true with one of the movieclips inside that array i want to remove that movieclip from the array so when i hitTest it again it returns false (I hitTest using a "for in" with that array).

i haven't noticed anyone showing deference because of the points. in fact, i've seen some people (a minority, to be sure) be just obnoxious about it. i never encountered that before: some people feel they have power because they can dole out points.
but overall i agree with you: the loss of the list of threads i am participating in, along with the most recent posters name, is a significant drawback of the new forums. and there's nothing new in these forums that offsets that drawback.

First, tell me how you determine that these entries are 'obsolete'.
Removing master data from SCM can usually be done using transaction WUF; however, you have to ensure that it is not re-sent to the SCM system, or you are just wasting your time.

I have a row entry which contains radio button,dropdown,input field,calender.All the fields are dynamic
All these fields(UI elements) are in one line and these are not in the table.If I add new entry(by clicking NEW ENTRY button),then a new row will be added dynamically with the same UI elements in the new row.Means every new row entry contains radio button,dropdown,input field,calender.
Problem :- I want to delete one row entries.Means if I delete the 5th row entries,then it should remove all the UI elements(radio button,dropdown,input field,calender) from that 5th row entries only.
I think I am clear about the requirement.
Please suggest me how to remove a row entry.These UI elemenets are not table entry.

How do I restore specific items from backup?

Hi
My phone had no reception, therefore I went on iTunes and backed it up then restored my iPhone to the factory settings.
The recetion problem got fixed, but when iTunes asked me to restore my backup files on to my iPhone, so I did. then the reception problem came back on again. from here, it's obvious something in my backup files is making this problem happen. I then restored to factory settings again, but this time I set it up as a new device.
now the question is, since the restore from backup function restores everything including the problem, how do I get specific things from the backup files?
and also what exactly is backed up when you choose to backup the iPhone, does it backup things like photos and videos etc.?

If I understand you correctly, go to the skin editor (Project, Skin Editor in Captivate 4), select the Playback Control tab, uncheck the Progressbar check box. Leave checked the buttons for play/pause, rewind, forward, back, etc.

Can I remove a SPECIFIC file from the "Recents" list?

     As far as I can see, Adobe Reader for Android has only the option of clearing ALL the files in the "Recents" list. It doesn't have the option of removing a specific file from the "Recents" list.
     Maybe I'm just missing the option I'm talking about or Adobe Reader doesn't really have that feature.

you can't from the iPad.
Go to iTunes on a computer, log in with your apple ID and select 'account'.
After that , select 'payment method' and select 'none'.

After establishing the Credit Card account, you can remove the credit card information by editing your payment info, choosing "None".
Note: You won't find "None" if you have not purchase anything with the Credit Card.

If the option to select "None" isn't appearing when you attempt to edit your payment information, then there is likely a billing issue with your last iTunes Store purchase(iTunes didn't receive payment from your credit card company for that order). Before you can remove your credit card, you have to pay for the unpaid order. You can call your credit card company and troubleshoot the billing issue with them, or try another card, or if you live in a country that supports iTunes Gift Cards, you can redeem one of those to pay for the order. I used a pre-loaded credit card so when it ran out i had problems, primarily because it wont let me download or update anything until the "billing problem with the last transaction" was resolved. I dont really care if the purchase goes through but i want to be able to update stuff again and it wont give me the option to select 'none' under payment type. do i have to put another card on there just so i can "resolve the billing problem" and then i have to take it off again or is there a way around this or is it a never ending cycle?
