How to remove ActiveX control on my website

Hi~
When I create a Website, I used a behavior (pop-up menu)
function on my main menu bar. When I run the webpage with IE, it
shows ActiveX control message on the top of the webpage showing
“This site might require the following ActiveX control
How can I remove or avoid this message appearing on my
website?
Please give me an advice.

To get rid of the message for local testing, use Commands

How to create ActiveX Control in LabWindows/CVI 2010

I have LabWindows/CVI 2010 Full Development System (Debug Only) installed on a stand alone PC with Windows 7 (64bit). Also I have Matlab (R2011a) (also 64bit) installed on this PC. I tried to use "Create ActiveX Controller" under ""Tools". I can locate the "Matlab Application (version 7.12) Type Library" in the ActiveX Controller Wizard. After click "next", I got a message "The Type Library is not intended for use on Win32". My questions are:
1) Is my LabWindows/CVI 32bit or 64bit?
2) How to create my Matlab ActiveX Control?

It means that you cannot use 64 bit libraries in CVI ti create Activex controls since CVI is a 32 bit application. You can however create 64 bit dlls, executables and static libraries. Here is a link to some information:

How to remove bursting control file?

Hi,
I attached a bursting control file to a data definition to test the functionality. Now I want to get rid of it, unfortunately I don't see a delete button or anything similar in XML Publisher Administrator. How can I delete the file?

Hi Arthur,
unfortunately, you can't set any inactive_date or delete the file on the whole. But you can, if you have access to the database the following option, to vanish the file:
DELETE
FROM XDO_LOBS
WHERE LOB_CODE=<DATA_DEFINITION_CODE>
AND LOB_TYPE='BURSTING_FILE';

How do I register ActiveX controls?

As fas as I know I have two copies of the same version of MS6.0. When I bring code in from one copy to the other I get the message
"The Active X Control cannot be instantiated."
I hit OK and it says:
"The Active X Control {bunch of hex values} is not registerd on this computer. Register the control and try again."
If I remove all my cwdiolines and cwdioline and cwdioport and cwdioports stuff and add the control again from the Registered ActivX Controls folder it doesn't help. If I remove any DAQ device I have installed and reboot the computer and then run the program's exe file it works. It's always when I load the project's workspace that I have this problem.
Any info on how to register ActiveX controls without d
oing another reinstall?

Sorry. Please disregard this post. I thought it was trying to register two of my cwdio DAQ controls but it was complaining about an ActiveX text box control that I forgot to reinstall after I rebuilt my system.

ActiveX container ->insert ActiveX object) I have several garbage controls
that i made to test some code and block diagrams
As such, several copies of the same ActiveX control are in the menu
Does anyone know how to remove these controls from the menu?
(and how did I added them in the first place?)
Also if anyone can point me in the direction of some good resources regarding
ActiveX objects and Labview, it would be greatly appreciated

You need to unregister the ActiveX:
The command to manually register or unregister an ActiveX component is:
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\REGSVR32 filename
or
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\REGSVR32 /u filename
Then delete filename.ocx or .dll

simply go to Logitech's website, download the "LCC" installer package. Inside the dmg-file you'll find a little program called "Uninstaller" - that's what you're looking for.

Also read the documentation for Oracle Forms 6i the developer guide has a section about Active/X.
Just remember that they will not work once you take your Forms to the Web. So think twice before you use them.

How to remove the default members of a dimension from the control table?

Hi all,
I am new to hyperion FDM 11.1.1.2.0.0 .
When I navigate to Metadata>Control Tables and try to delete the default memmbers
for the dimension like category and period i got the following error.
Error: Period( 8/31/2009 ) is an active Global or Local Period and cannot be deleted.
Then again i unchecked active checkbox for that dimension from Hyperion Essbase Integration Setup of Workbench Client.
After doing that i got the following error
Error: Unable to retrieve target System Data.
Can anyone tell me how to remove the default members of a dimension from the control table?

Create a new record for the table.
Go change the POV to the new record.
Return to the control table and delete the default record.

How do I remove the "Go to a website" redirection?

Hi. I'd like to know how to remove the redirection to the navigation bar when I open up a new tab. Everytime I open up a new tab I've set it so I come to my homepage, google. But instead of directing me to the search bar in the center of the site, as it usually does when you type in the address and hit enter, it redirects me to the navigation bar, removes everything there and puts out the text "Go to a website". I don't want that, I want so it puts me in the search bar like if I'd have typed in the address in the navigation bar. Thanks in advance.

That is how the new tab page works.
It works with the build-in about:home page, but not with web pages like the Google search page (www.google.com)

How to get the number of pages in a PDF file with AcroPDF ActiveX control

I am using the AcroPDF ActiveX control provided by Acrobat Reader and Professionals(version 9). I just wonder if I using LoadFile to load a PDF document, how can I know the number of pages in that PDF? I do not find any properites or methods that can do that.

There's no functionality in the Acrobat.com online services to do a character count. But, you could use ExportPDF to convert your PDF file to Word format, and then do your character count in Word.
