How to remove boot options while booting in mac with the options key

I've just installed windows trough bootcamp, but somethings went little bit wrong,
Everythings works fine, mac works and windows 7 works properly. But when i hold down the option key while booting i dont have the normal 3 options (Mac, Windows, Mac Restore). I now see these options (MAC, Windows, Windows, Windows efi, mac restore).
MAC -> works fine
1e windows -> (error no operating system installed)
2e windows -> works fine
3e Efi windows (boots into mac)
MAc restore -> works fine
So is there an way to clean up these options?

You think someone will use Boot Camp Assistant?
EFI is / was always there. Sometimes it shows up (from using Disk Warrior).
Windows has its own 100MB system reserved as well that is the boot area.
I'd start with Lion Recovery, show hidden features and partitions, and check the health of all, and repair HFS volume.
Also try your Windows DVD and see if it sees a problem.

I downloaded iTunes on a different computer and tried to sync the iPhone to it, to move all the music on my iPhone to iTunes so I could deselect what songs I wanted to remove to make the storage space. I don't want to reset my phone to delete ALL my music, just select songs/albums. Can anyone please help me figure out the new iTunes to be able to do this? It is driving me nuts and I'm getting really mad at Apple for their constant updates making things less easy to use!

How do I upload my photos to my mac with the filters applied?

Please help - this is driving me insane!!! So I simply want to upload my (1000's of) photos, some of which have filters on to my imac, quickly and in one simple step. It seems to be impossible for me without wasting a lot of time. The only solution I have found is to share the images via icloud, wait for hours for them to upload, then save them to my mac via iphoto. I started to do this but found that images were uploading in a different order to that in which they were taken and some were missing. Why are images reverted back to their originals when uploading to a folder? Surely this is ridiculous! How can I get around this without hours of waiting and checking to see if all my images have appeared? I would greatly appreciate a simple and quick solution to this.

How to refresh changed data in a plannable template with the Enter Key

Hi,
The situation I face is as follows.
Integrated Planning is being implemented as a tool for budgeting. The user changes a value in a plannable cell on the portal and wishes to see the new updated data by pressing ENTER. Currently we have provided a REFRESH button so that the user gets the desired result.
Is it possible to see the updated value by pressing ' ENTER' and if so , whats the way around to do it.

Now I'm looking for this possibility in IP as well in excel-based IP and web-based IP. For example a copy function should be executed automatically when pushing the enter key.

How do I use a Windows PC and Mac with the Time Capsule?

Hey all,
Here's the situation that I face. I have a Windows Desktop PC without a wirecard, and a MBA..
My Time Capsule is connected to my ADSL modem, and my Windows PC is hooked up to the TC via LAN.
I was able to set up the TC from the MBA easily and got it up and running flawlessly.
However, when I started Airport Utility on the windows machine, it was unable to detect the TC, though it is plugged it physically to it via LAN.
Would appreciate any advice.

Make sure the windows 7 network is set to home not work or public.
You might also need to turn off the firewall.
Airport utility can usually detect the TC without trouble but the default names are probably wrong for SMB network..
Name of TC (and wireless if later you use it) should be short no spaces, pure alphanumeric.. especially no apostrophe which apple seem to put in by default.
In the disk sharing page, make sure guest account is turned on and has read and write permissions.
Make sure workgroup is set correctly.
In the windows machine make sure bonjour is installed and working.
In windows explorer type \\ipaddressofTC or \\TCname.
If no go, press and hold the reset button on the TC and redo the setup from the windows computer.

Start with the Option key down - Which port to connect the keyboard?

When I need to start my Mac with the Option key down in order to select a boot volume, I have noticed that the system ignores the Option key press and boots into a previous boot volume if a USB keyboard is plugged into an external USB hub. That's understandable because the boot sequence may not detect the keyboard on the external USB bus fast enough for the system to recognize the Option key press.
My Mac will always recognize the Option key press at a boot time if the USB keyboard is plugged into a USB port on the Mac.
I want to know what if the boot sequence will detect the keyboard +soon enough+ to recognize the Option key press if the keyboard is connected to a USB port on a PCIe USB expansion card.
If you know the answer, please let me know because, if the answer is no, I would not want to invest money into an expansion card.

Even if it doesn't work with the card, you can plug the keyboard into a built-in port and use the card's ports for other USB devices. The total number of USB ports would be the same.

Macbook pro stuck boots to "no bootable device found insert boot disk and press any key macbook," and at the same time, booting to the Startup Manager (holding option while booting) will not work either.

Not only will holding Option while booting not work, but all of the other boot tricks (safe mode, single user mode, etc), will not work. I am at a loss. I also don't have an optical drive in this particular MBP. I have an SSD where it once was.

I know you have tried other booting types, but have you tried booting into recovery mode? Cmd+R or internet recovery? By any chance have you recently deleted/resized/changed format to a partition? Even if it was not the main one? Have you installed third party applications that could have messed up your system files? Or some sort of RAID software, Fusion Drive etc.? All of this info will help us to pinpoint your issue quicker and help you. Any change you noticed before this happened (even if it seems small), that you consider worth telling us would be greatly appreciated.
Also, do you have access to another Mac besides this one(preferably)? Or do you have access to a Windows computer (7 or 8 preferably)?
Do you hear the chime before the message appears?

Goto BizTalk admin console -- > If you know the BizTalk application where this dll is already deployed, select that application. Otherwise select "All Artifacts" --> Select "Resources" folder --> And remove the dll of the above property schema project
by right clicking on the Artifacts and select remove
Other option is go to "Schemas" folder of the above BizTalk application (again in admin console), --> select the schema ---> right click the schema you wan to remove (Property schema) and click remove.

How did you get a Lion OSX install disc? They don't exist. Do you mean the gray disks that came with your 2007 MacBook?
If you mean the gray disks, try starting up with the "c" key held down.
What version of OSX is on your MacBook now? Have you tried booting from the Recovery partition?

The problem is that I did erase the partition, using disk utility, but I can't go back to my original disk size pre-partition, as disk utility won't let me do it and gives the message "Couldn’t modify partition map because file system verification failed." When I try to use Boot Camp Assistant it won't let me select the third option to remove windows.

Booting with the alt key shows non bootable volumes

When booting my MBP with the alt key pressed, non bootable volumes (partitions) are displayed. Has anybody else experienced the same thing?
I would like to know how to remove the non bootable partitions from the System Startup Manager.

I have a similar situation with my Quicksilver (2002) G4. Holding down the option key at startup reveals a volume, in my case, that has not been connected to the computer for months and is not connected now. Resetting PRAM and NVRAM does not remove it.

How to remove bullets and spacing for url links in the Related Links iview?

I tried to look for a property that I can edit the look-n-feel of the url links in the Related Link iView using "Theme Editor".
All I need is to remove the bullets and increase some vertical spacing between the links.
Currently, it looks like this:
URL iView A
URL Iview B
I go through the whole section of Related Links properties, none of them seems to do what I want.
Here are the list of properties in Related Link section (of Navigation Panel):
Link Color
Text Decoration of Link
Hover Color
Text Decoration of Hovered Link
Initially, I thought "Text Decoration of Link" should be the right property I should look at. But there are a drop-down with 5 options: None, Underline, Blinking, Overline and Line-Through, which really can't achieve what I want.

I checked the Related iView properties (URL Template), I don't see what layoutset it is really using. I am not sure, is that a layout set apply to the Related Link Iview?
For the regular KM iView, I will see what Layout Set I want to apply, then I can go and change the properties (of layout coontroller, collection renderer & resource renderer)you mentioned. But for this Related Link iView, I really don't know. I guess it may be in the code itself.
If there is a layout set for Related Link iView (or the place to apply layout set to it), can you point to me which one is that? (I did a search through the layout set names, I only find the AppQuicklinkExplorer (I used this for Dynamic Nav. Link iView before), if I can aply this layout set to Related Link iView, my problem will be solved.)

Many people have the same problem. However, there is little or nothing readily available to users. This problem has existed for two or more years. Does anyone have anything to offer about this disturbing problem?

9.0.115 and 9.0.124 and both fail with the policy permission error.
I also tried with and without your crossdomain.xml file but
with the same result. It looks like this file is intended for URL
policy, instead of socket policy. Recently Adobe separated the two.
When I run with the files installed on my dev PC, it does
work, which makes sense because the flash player isn't loaded from
an unknown domain.
I did get one step closer. If a crossdomain.xml in the server
root exists and the socketpolicy file is loaded from the app folder
then the first two warnings disappear. The logs now show:

UPDATE: When serving up the policy file on port 843 using the

Same here after upgrade yesterday.
I can get OS utilities up using CMD R or holding the shift key (eventually), but if I simply then reinstall the OS will it not loose everything on my drive? I do have it backed up on Time Machine? What a nightmare - Apple Support does suck. I am not paying £25 for them to call me to tell me how to fix a bug in their OS software upgrade. Any help
Also does anyone know if it is possible to use time machine to go back to Snow Leopard? I have wasted much of the day on this now
