How to remove/change a binding correctly?

Hey,
I'm trying to remove an aggregation binding of a table, because I want to set another one on it.
I need something like this:
if ( mytable.isBound())
mytable.unbindRows()
mytable.bindRows()
... but istBound() returns always "false", although it is bound and data are shown. The new binding is working well, but I think the old Binding remains at the model -> which causes (old) requests on a refresh.
What is generally the correct way to call ".bindRows()" many times, without getting too many old requests?
Or how can I remove a Binding totally from my model?

Hi Jörg,
it seems you have to use the setModel() method also for removing a binding.
Take a look at the documentation.
setModel(oModel, sName?) : sap.ui.base.ManagedObject
Sets or unsets a model for the given model name for this ManagedObject.
The sName must either be undefined (or omitted) or a non-empty string. When the name is omitted, the default model is set/unset.
So, this call should remove the previously bound model:
myTable.setModel();

It's just, I want to change my spelling checker from english to french, that when I type some words in wrong order or miss some, I can know that.

I have the same problem. I changed my email address with itunes, & the icloud website knows it too. but the icloud on my iphone still has the old one & wont allow me to change it. How to remove 'Change to Text Mode' link on 'richTextEditor' item

Now I'm using 'richTextEditor' item on my page. But above it, there is a link named 'Change to Text Mode'. How can I remove it? From profile, if I change the profile, it will be Text Mode only. But I want to use rich text mode, not use text mode. So I want to remove the link 'Change to Text Mode'. But it seems it is with the text box together.

How to remove representation of grammar correction of text (FM read_text)?

Hi ABAP Gurus,
I am working on a program that downloads data to Excel.
The data comes from the text using the FM read_text.
I tried to look at the data and it contains grammatical error like no spaces are provided after end of each sentence.
When I tried to view it, an ampersand sign (#) appeared in between of those words. See sample below:

If you notice, the correct grammar entails us that there should be spaces after period (.) of the 'Variances' before the 'This' word. As a result when viewing such text, an ampersand appeared using the old editor though the ampersand sign did not appear using the new text editor.
My case then is to remove the such appearance of ampersand but I cannot remove it since the abap code cannot determine it as a character.
It helps me conclude then that the ampersand sign that appeared in representation of grammar check (usually words are highlighted in red) is not really a character. It is the representation of that crooked red line during grammar chek of the text.
I have to get rid of that ampersand since I am downloading the data to excel, otherwise it causes the data to move to another row in excel file.
Please help me.

What I have had to do, in one similar instance, is find the special characters that were being 'pasted in' by someone who was copying and pasting from a desktop file that had oddball hex characters in it...Here's the approach I took (to the best of my memory).
Look in debug and identify the hex value of the characters...
Turn off the unicode switch in porgram attributes, so you can declare type x.
Set fields like this:
lc_hex1 type x value '09'. "1 character hex field...put in the bad hex value you saw in debug...
declare as many of these constants as you need....
then ....
field-symbols <fs> type tline.
loop at itxt assigning <fs>.
if <fs> is assigned.
replace all occurrences of lc_hex1 with space into <fs>-tdline.
replace all occurrences of ... with space into <fs>-tdline. "as many times as needed for each "bad" character.
condense <fs>-tdline. "squeeze all the extra spaces out
endif.
endloop.
Then you might want to call something like RKD_WORD_WRAP to reformat to the length you'd like, breaking on word (space) boundardies.

How to remove/change printer in Important Modified Prefs; stays as default

Old printer (Samsung, listed in my Important Modified Preferences in Troubleshooting) will not allow new printer to be Default printer. No matter what I do. I've followed the instructions here in FF Help re about:config & reset and others too. Is this something to do with FF? I've tried to find & delete the old printer all over my laptop, but it stays there like a bad penny as the default anyway. Is there a way to get rid of it by changing a code or something? Never had this problem before. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Kindest regards.

You are seeing the result of Preferences>Type>Highlight Substituted Fonts
You must have at least one missing font, so there is something to sort out.
In other words, Illy is kindly trying to tell you that you are not looking at the font you think you are looking at. She is always very helpful.

Deleted the arc in the logical model but when I do an "engineer to relational model" the ARC is not removed there.

I'm afraid there is a problem that Engineer to Relational Model does not detect that an arc has been removed.
Until this is fixed, you will need to remove the arc in the Relational Model as well.

You may use bindRowSetIterator() and pass in a custom fetched ViewObject or a RowSetIterator to the iterator binding that is displayed in your panel.

Go to SAFARI tab from the safari menu and "reset Safari"
You can keep your passwords, just uncheck that option.
once done that, quit Safari, here is the trick. CLosing the Safari Window doesn't quit the app, to quit it you can either go to "safari" tab on the safari menu and Quit safari or press control key on the keyboard and click on the safari app and quit. that will erase those purple highlighted links

I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
a. on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" >
      tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
b. Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select
      "done", in the upper right corner
c. sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the
      Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you
      should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the
      security questions.
d. At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and
      selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You
      should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security
      questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.
