In the screenshot below, how to remove space below text? I simply added a text box using the type tool and I get that extra space bellow the letter "B" that I don't need. I want to remove that space to center the letter within the octogon.

That way you can adjust it so that its anchor point coincides with the centre of the hexagon.

In my repoprt output I am getting space between the lines. I have changed
the repeating frame and field -> vertical elasticity and horizontal elasticity to fallowing combinations.

Then also I am getting space between the lines of my output.
Could you help me in this?
ThanksChange the Vertical Elasticity of fields and frames to Variable. If for some fields or frames you don't want to change the vertical elasticity, then remove extra space by adjusting the height of fields/frames.
Also check repeating frames property 'Vert. Space Between Frames'. Default is 0.

I am building a rtf template for PO output for communication report in r12,there is a terms and conditions part and total amount part which comes at bottom of every page of the report. I have created that as a template and i call it in the footer.
The problem is there is always a gap between the lines table and the terms & conditions and total table,any idea's on how to resolve this issue will be very helpful.
Please let me know if any other input is required from my side.

If so, you some choices:
1) If your lines are always the same height, you might get some ideas on what to do from this article:

2) If your lines vary in height, then you should look into a PDF template. This will give you a pre-printed stationary look in which the drawing of boxes and lines is not affected by the data content.
3) Other less attractive options are a) making the report in XSL-FO, and b) making a bitmapped RDF report
There is currently no solution that I am aware of for a pre-printed stationary look using an RTF template in which the data lines are of variable height. -

The sample code is like this
Select 'Order Number Header Id' from dual; ( This is the heading in the output of the report.)
Select order_number , header_id from oe_order_headers_all;
The output is displaying as follows

Now I am opening the report in excel, and there is a space appearing after the headings.
So, how can I remove the additional blank line between the headings and the data.

The first time I synced my iphone 4 with my mac, I didn't realize that all of my photos from the iphoto library would transfer over to the phone (more than 3,000). I have an invoice where all the lines are not fitting into one page. So some of the lines are getting printed in the second page. But in this case I wanted to put a message below the first page as "continue on next page"

In a webdynpro application,
I created a table and witten the below code to populate the table

As per the code, i got 2 row in the table.
But , i have one Empty row on top of the table , how to get ride of this.
i find the same problem happening with dropdown too, where i used DDBI, i populated a the content as mention, but i initial 2 row as blank and then i have my own elements ,as per my code.>

How can i find out the table hierarchy
Hi experts,
I have one doubt. how can i find out the table hierarchy in the particular schema.
Let me explain my requirement in detail.. In my Database i have nearly 250 table each table have it's own temporary table(for authorization purpose we are maintaining the temporary tables) for each day i have to clear the temporary table data.
All temporary table connected with each other. i mean all the table having foreign key relationship.. while i attempt the delete the data from the temporary table it showed ORA-02292: integrity constraint violated - child record found.
So can any one please tell how can i delete the child table record first and then parent record table record.

How to remove space from a variable in a smartform

I have a problem in displaying a variable in a smartform..The variable shows some blank space that preceeds the data.
for eg:,
variable = 18.000.
How to remove space before 18.000?To remove the decimal places for quantity and rate/quantity , use the syntax to restrict the number of digits after decimal places. The syntax is
&symbol(.N)&
where N is number of decimal places.
Since you dont want decimals use &symbol(.0)&
For the other case it depends on how the currency is represented , any way try using the syntex &symbol(T)&

I purchased a Muse template to develop my website and I didn't need every section, so I removed one of them.
Now I have a ton of white space and I have search and tried every suggestion I could find on these forums, but cannot get it removed.

There are two things that you need to test here -
1. Reduce the Min Height of the page and see if that makes any difference.
2. Press Ctrl + A/Command + A to select all on the page and see if there is an empty text frame or rectangle towards the bottom of the page that you are not able to locate otherwise.
Make sure to check this on the Master page as well as the page in question.
