My son dropped his iBook when it was open. The fall torqued the hinges so that the wires are showing, there's a quarter inch gap at the back, and the screen assembly has come away from the bottom of the screen. However, the LCD screen itself seems to be fine. I recently purchased on ebay a complete screen assembly with hinges that contains a dead LCD screen, and was wondering whether putting the undamaged screen in this used assembly and reconnecting it to the ibook is something I can do at home. Do I need to replace my cracked screen? - ipad mini

ok, so I know there are tons of discussions about how to replace a cracked screen DIY, and how the out of warranty replacement costs works and prices, etc..
But, my questions is do I really need to replace it if it otherwise is working ok? i.e., is there something else that oculd be wrong with it, or something else that could happen later that I really need to. It doesn't really affect screen viewing, just stares at me when screen is locked and makes me angry. ipad mini in a xdoria smart cover case dropped about a foot flat on front.
both pictures below show the ipad in the same position. can't really tell crack when screen is on. a little obvsious when screen is flat on table and i'm trying to type (can see fractured light a little).
can physically feel crack on the surface.
only had it a month, can't even blame the kids, **** it!

I have first selection screen with parametre as a table name, then I have created dynamic selection screen as 2nd selection screen with different fields of that table as select options. This is done using genaration of dynamic report. Now If I click on button on this 2nd selction screen , then I want to replace this 2nd dynamic selection screen , with the other selection screen fields.
Can anybody guide me, How to do replace one slection screen with different selection screen.
and one imp thing is this selction screen is populating with dynamic fields on it.

As I can understand you want to make some of the screen field to disable or visible on screen depending upon the interaction of user with screen 1.

FYI, if the phone was not originally sold in India, it can not be serviced in India. You will have to take it back to the country where it originated.

Apple will replace the entire iPad; they don't repair.

If you open up the display housing and get the screen model you can also have a lot more choices in finding a lower cost replacement. It is a 15.4 inch lcd screen....very common and relatively inexpensive:

I'd rather not pay the $459 or 459 or whatever to get the screen fixed by Toshiba. I've had 20 laptops before, I never cracked a screen like this so easily. I didn't drop the laptop nor bump it nor squeeze it, I just transported it in my hand baggage on the airplane as I always do with many previous laptops, the Z830 screen is too fragile. I really like the screen, I like its matte finish, I like the thin and light magnesium form factor of the laptop, and swobbly screen does not bother me, except the design is just much too fragile, the glass surface of the LCD is not protected as it must be. Since I don't want to pay the $500 repair fee, and since I guess Toshiba never replaces a cracked screen under warranty?
