I just wanted to ask,Im getting rid of my ipod shuffle and hoping to sell it.How do i wipe off any personal details the the name of my ipod?(it said make a name and i wrote coolios ipod)how do i get rid of that and ready to sell?

For the past 2 hours I have been trying to reset my ipod without a password. my computer does not accept my ipod because it does not have the new update. So when i tried to update my computer it won't accept my password to start the download. So when I tried to see wat was wrong with my password cause I knew it was right I found nothing. So I tried to restart my ipod anyway but it didn't work either. Is there a way to restart it without the computer or icloud or anything else. I'm extremly fustrated. When I restarted my nook tablet a couple months ago it wasn't nearly as difficult and it took me 5 minutes. Please help! I'm about readying to return it and get a new one cause I still got 6 months warranty on it. But I want to avoid that so please help.
