I can not get NFL Game Pass or Siri to work???

Well you can plug it into itunes and under summary tab hit RESTORE. This should fix any software issues that you may be experiencing. About gamepass, I dont know, I dont have it. Siri is not on the IPAD2. Only on the 3rd generation Ipad, so you wont have it(going by ipad2 under your name).

    Even if there was a convenient way, the software will not run on the pad.  Ios is a unique language, and only programs written for ios will run on the pad.   All of the programs are in the app store.  You might look there and see if the company that makes your sfotware also has an ios version, which would be in the store.

    I think I figured out Firefox, I went under Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox.
    I only have one account on my computer. Honestly I don't even really know how multiple accounts work. I've never played around with it. I already allowed Java - should I disable it?

    I've noticed this too...when I'm in Safari, scrolling is a bit jerky and sometimes it stops even though I'm still scrolling...my fingers go right off the trackpad.  I just downloaded the new updates onto my brand new macbook air- had to do it manually as "power nap" doesn't work, even after the SMC reset.  Lamesauce.

    I prefer to view in All contacts on a double page spread with details on the right page.  Searching doesn't seem to work correctly in this view.
    It's always the second search that is problematic.
    I've tried typing over and all it seems to do is confine the search to the the entries that have come up for the previous search.
    I've tried to use the x to clear the previous entry and then type the next search, same problem.  The only way seems to be to move from "All Contacts" to "Groups".  Then the searched name appears and I can return to All Contacts to see full details.
    Surely three key press' are not the way it's supposed to work?

    Go to Options>Applications>click on, in your case, Adobe Acrobat entries and select "Use Adobe Acrobat(in Firefox)" or as you wish.

  • Lightroom 4 resizing on export feature - using the "long edge" resize option - doesn't seem to work

    In previous versions of Lightroom (prior to 4), when I used the resize feature while exporting, I often used the "long edge" value to resize.
    Previously, when I selected 2500 as the "long edge" value, I would receive exported JPGs in a size of something like 2500x1650 or so for landscape shots and 1650x2500 for portrait shots.
    With LR 4 (not sure if this started with the RCs or 4.0), using the same settings, I'm getting landscape shots that are 3700x2500 and portrait shots that are 1650x2500. This is acting more like I said I wanted a dimensional resize of _____ X 2500 instead of long edge of 2500.
    I tried playing around with some of these settings, but nothing seems to give me the old behavior of 2500 on the long edge, even though that's what I've set it for.
    Anyone else seen this type of issue?
    I'm currently running LR 4 RC2, but also noticed this on RC1, but not sure of 4.0.  I'm a Mac user, running the current version of Lion (10.7.3) on a 2010 Mac Pro.

    With RC2 on Windows 7 (64 Bit) I get 2500x1667 for landscape and 1667x2500 for portrait, as expected. Seems to be an issue in the Mac version only.
    A workaround might be to use "dimensions" instead and leave one of the fields empty (LR inserts "0" there, but one cannot enter "0" manually). I think this is equivalent to "long edge", but I am not 100% sure (edit: ok, I think I am nearly sure that it is).

    You can't delete the update and your problem probably is not in the Update.
    Check to see if Location Services is turned ON. (Settings > Privacy > Location Services)
    What model iPad Mini do you have? WiFi or WiFi + Cellular
    Have you recently changed WiFi routers?

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
    Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
    Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
    Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.

    I'm glad iTunes is working now!  If you want to locate iTunes plug-ins on your computer, you can find them in the following locations (you may not have the iTunes Plug-ins folder if you do not have plug-ins):
    Mac:
    /Users/username/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
    /Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins/
    One thing I also wanted to mention is that the "Users/username/Library" is hidden in Lion and Mountain Lion.  You can access it using these steps:
    OS X Mountain Lion: What is the Library folder?
    The Library folder contains files used by OS X and your apps, including your personal fonts and preferences. The Library folder is hidden. If you need to open it, make sure you are in the Finder, hold down the Option key, and then choose Go > Library.
