How to resolve EXP-00056: ORACLE error 19206 encountered during an export.

I am facing the problem while exporting the user in ORACLE 9i. It is showing the following error message's
EXP-00056: ORACLE error 19206 encountered
ORA-19206: Invalid value for query or REF CURSOR parameter

I have tried in the below way to solve the above issue.
I have logged in to sql+ sheet : sys/sys@esmr as sysdba [username/password@net service name as sysdba] and executed the query " $ora92/rdbms/admin/catmeta.sql "
But still I am unable to export the database user.Still it is showing me the same error. Please help me out.

What is your export command ?
Is it the same export command ?
Is it the same OS user and then same environment variables ?
What is your OS and oracle version ?
What are NLS_* variables values and database ?

this is a production database runing in windows platform and there is no backup
what should iWell first of all you should stop using EXP for backups, it's quite unsuitable, and start using RMAN instead. Find out more.
If you have a Metalink account you shoudl read Note:298968.1. But teh headline is there is a bug in 10gR1 which is fixed in 10gR2. This may not help you much. The workaround is to try running the export again later, which may not be any more helpful.

If Gives the compilation Error then user following Solution.
The solution is running catnoqm.sql (remove XDB schema) and then running catqm.sql (installing XDB schema).

Export fails with EXP-00056: ORACLE error 2149 encountered

Hi,
Export backup fails everyday with the below error.
when I export manuall during the day time. there are no errors.
I assume that the partition which it is trying to export exists at the time of the export job start HOwever, it could not find the paritition when it tries to exprot that specific table.

This database is very new to me. any help to investigate the problem is much appritiated.

Check your triggers and object names - there is a conflict .

尝试了几台服务器都遇到这个问题，暂时没有找到问题的原因

问题已解决：
ORACLE error 904 问题是因为回收了public 的dbms_java执行权限，重新授予解决。
trace=y需要的权限问题: 应该需要grant dba to xxx; 单exp_full_database好像不行，下面是测试的情况
when the Data Pump TRACE parameter is used in Oracle10g Release 2 or higher, then the user who connects to the database and runs the export DataPump job needs to have the DBA role or the EXP_FULL_DATABASE role (the same applies to Import DataPump with TRACE parameter: DBA or IMP_FULL_DATABASE role required), e.g.:
GRANT exp_full_database TO scott;
-- or:
GRANT dba TO expdp_role;

Yes, I do agree.But when i compared with the other database where i am able to export it doesn't have the 'EXPORT_FULL_DATABASE' privs.

Hi,
I'm doing an export full of my database and I received those errors
. exporting post-schema procedural objects and actions

I´m Connected to: Oracle9i Enterprise Edition Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP and Oracle Data Mining options
JServer Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production
Export done in WE8ISO8859P1 character set and AL16UTF16 NCHAR character set
Can I do the import without problems? What I must do to solve those errors?

Keep in mind the following points about using CONSISTENT=y:
1.CONSISTENT=y is unsupported for exports that are performed when you are connected as user SYS or you are using AS SYSDBA, or both.
2.Export of certain metadata may require the use of the SYS schema within recursive SQL. In such situations, the use of CONSISTENT=y will be ignored. Oracle Corporation recommends that you avoid making metadata changes during an export process in which CONSISTENT=y is selected.
To minimize the time and space required for such exports, you should export tables that need to remain consistent separately from those that do not.
For example, export the emp and dept tables together in a consistent export, and then export the remainder of the database in a second pass.
3.A "snapshot too old" error occurs when rollback space is used up, and space taken up by committed transactions is reused for new transactions. Reusing space in the rollback segment allows database integrity to be preserved with minimum space requirements, but it imposes a limit on the amount of time that a read-consistent image can be preserved.
If a committed transaction has been overwritten and the information is needed for a read-consistent view of the database, a "snapshot too old" error results.
To avoid this error, you should minimize the time taken by a read-consistent export. (Do this by restricting the number of objects exported and, if possible, by reducing the database transaction rate.) Also, make the rollback segment as large as possible.

I am getting these below errors during export.. Can you please anybody point out what went wrong??
. exporting refresh groups and children
. exporting dimensions
. exporting post-schema procedural objects and actions

Sorry froo delay in replying.. here is script..
i:\oracle\product\10.2.0\db_1\bin\exp full=y userid=system/manager@ccportal file='i:\backup\backupn.dmp' consistent=y log='i:\backup\backupn.log
But unfortunately today's log i cud not find any errors. Export completed successfully without warnings..

EXP-00008: Oracle error 904 encountered

Hello everybody!
Does anybody help me with this error which occures when I try to export database schema (DBO for an example).
exp system/<password>@<server> file=test.dmp owner=dbo
and at last another error occured:
ORACLE 6550 encountered
component IS_TRIGGER_FIRE_ONCE_INTERNAL must be declared!!!!
I use Oracle 8.1.6 with Linux Red Hat 6.2!
I tried to run package CATALOG.sql - it did not help me

Your problem is with your versions of exp and oracle. Your running Oracle 8.1.6 on Linux, but my guess is your using the 8.1.7 NT client. Oracle did not introduce IS_TRIGGER_FIRE_ONCE_INTERNAL into dbmsutil.sql until version 8.1.7 of Oracle. Version 8.1.7 of exp uses IS_TRIGGER_FIRE_ONCE_INTERNAL plus other functions/packages introduced in Version 8.1.7. Basically what I'm saying is version 8.1.7 of exp is incompatable with an 8.1.6 database. I'd suggest installing the 8.1.6 client and using the exp from that.
Also, keep in mind with Oracle it's almost always a good idea to make sure your tool's version matches the version of oracle you're using. Also, keep in mind you can have multiple versions of the Oracle client installed and then use the Home Selector to toggle between each version (in case you need to be able to access different version of the oracle database).
