Yeah - I tried that, several times; each time I get "iTunes is restoring the software on this iPhone" and after about 30 minutes the screen on the phone lights up again with the same screen I had before. After that ... nothing.

Calendar sync issue on iPhone 4 with iOS 8.1.2

Just updated my iPhone 4 with iOS 8.1.2, some of my calendar entries like birthday entries which I marked as an all day event for so many years are not getting updated on my iPhone 4 where my iPad mini with iOS 8.1.2 is showing the missing data. Can anyone help on this issue?

I see that you may be having an issue with the birthday calendars on your iPhone. First, make sure that your birthday calendar is activated on all of the devices that you wish to see it on:

View the Birthdays calendar. Tap Calendars, then tap Birthdays to include birthdays from Contacts with your events. If you’ve set up a Facebook account, you can also include your Facebook friends’ birthdays.

Battery life issues on iphone 5 with ios 6.1.4

I had upgraded the OS on my iphone 5 to iOS 6.1.4 and now I am facing extraordinary battery drain. I left my phone at 35% battery life while going to sleep and when i wake up, after 8 hours, it has gone down to 8% and less. This was not the case before with the earlier version of iOS or my iphone 3gs. I have tried some tips and suggestions but I dont think those are really helping. Could someone please help me out as to what should be done in this case.
Hope Apple is listening and intend to do something. My phone is brand new and not even a month old.

No i do not have LTE network access at home.
My cellular reception is quite good at home as well as work.
Yes i am using an exchange account, gmail.

turning off SIRI, auto adjust brightness, push messages, notifications, blah blah blah...
Seeems like deleting and adding the mail account once again helped, as i am experiencing a better battery life today. I had read about this somewhere but weired that this could be a solution to a battery drain issue.
But still I am planning to take the phone to a store to get its battery checked.

I have an Iphone 5 with the most up to date software ios 7.1. I have the tty symbol on the top right corner of my iphone, it looks like a phone with white dots. I do not have the option of going to Settings > General > turn off TTY. The iphone 5 is not set up this way with the new software. Anyone have any ideas on who to get rid of this symbol?

If you turned off the setting and the symbol still remains try to do a hard reset RESET DEVICE
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears (ignore the ON/OFF slider) then let both buttons go and wait for device to restart (no data will be lost).

Same for me with Iphone 5 and IOS 7 on mac pro. Install ITunes 11.1 and after reboot nothing work. Work only with Mac Pro in safe mode.

Try closing all open applications in multitasking and power cycling the device. Once this is done test the results. If the issue persists, I have included a couple troubleshooting articles that I would recommend going through.

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.

I have given box / borders for cells in the table in smartforms. in main window.
Now when i print with HPlaser the output comes fine.
But when i use Epson - The borders almost print 5 to 6 times bigger & looks to ugly and even the data is not shown. Meaning the data is overshadowed by the borders of the Cells.
Tried to reduce the <b>width</b> in the BOX option of TABLE in smartforms. By default it is 15.00 TW. did not work.
EPSON is what they want to use.
Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Ask them to provide the Diamension of what paper type they
are using for EPSON, becoz U might have kept paper size
as A4 and there they might be using INCH12 or some other size
of paper( not Sure ).So if u can have the Exact paper format that
they are going to use , u can design ur form in that paper format
and then check.

Someone approached me last week in asking me how to resolve an issue in ST05. Basically I used the transaction to filter "inclusive VBPA".
The error is ....
Internal error - trace record pair error block 8 link no. 0
Message no. 0S 026
Diagnosis
    Each SQL statement is described by two SQL trace records that have the
    same link number. In this case, there are at least three records with the
    same link number.
    The system outputs the number of the block in which the third SQL trace
    record was found, as well as the link number of the records.
System response
    Program processing continues after the message is displayed. The system
    processes all of the trace records. You should assume, however, that the
    SQL trace in this case is not displayed correctly.
Procedure
You cannot correct this error yourself. If you can reproduce the error,
contact the SAP Hotline.
SQL trace list editing terminated after 6 errors
While using the trace I am executing the program that selects VBPA once and, I am assuming, as it goes through the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE used to unblock a delivery block. I am guessing the problem or source is from the BAPI but do you guys have other insights in what is causing this issue?

This is a typical response from the manufacturer. Did you try the fix that Lawrence mentioned. When Apple or any other phone manufacturer update phone software, they have the latest Bluetooth installed. It is usually the problem with the radio manufacturer that they devices are using the older Bluetooth protocols. You can try this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3581 and see if anything there helps, but generally it requires the radio manufacturer to update their firmware.
