How to restore a query or debug the one I screwed up

I messed with somebody else's query in development by accident. I will tell you what I did but first, is there any way to copy it back from production (I think it's called a transport) without telling anybody about my mistake?
What I did: Added a free characteristic from the time variable called fiscal year period (all this was createed by somebody else)... then I accidentally saved it...and while saving I ended task on everything to see if it wouldn't save. but when I run this query I get a runtime error 13 "type mismatch"...i can bring up a debuger but i don't know how to use it. if i click end the report seems to hang up...it shows but without the bex toolbar and the numbers look wrong ...

The option of copying just the query from Production into Development is not that easy, especially if you dont want anyone else to know abt it.
Since we are ruling that option out...that leaves you with using the production query as a template to adjust the development query. Unfortunately we do not have the RESTORE functionality which will magically restore the query to its original state. Fix the development query so that it matches exactly with that of Production and inform the actual developer / owner of the query abt the mishap. Its always good to have him check the query before he moves it across.
Mistakes do happen and a little honesty abt these simple mistakes always pays off than trying to cover it up!

Also when I tried to update my MYSQL connector / J driver to version 5.1.5 from 5.0.5 (NB 5.5.1) and 5.0.7 (NB 6.1), I could not get it work (looooong time to search some JDBC classes and with no response in the end) on both of my Netbean 5.5.1(on PC) and Netbean 6.1(on laptop) IDEs.
Could anybody look into this issue.

It will restore to factory ALL data anda apps
At some point it will offer restoration from itunes, but you will only see backups made on your computer.
If you wish to restore from icloud you forget itunes on your computer, go to the ipad and follow the instructions. At some point you will be asked to choose from icolud or confgiure it as a new ipad.

Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'
If that doesn't work then try closing the Mail app completely : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
Also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. OK, you are getting closer. Now, use your result, and place a Layer above that. Use the Pen Tool to create the "pen strokes" basically tracing over your background image. Then, when you have created each Path (or Sub-Path), choose Stroke Path, with probably the Pencil Tool and a Brush size that is small enough.
Not sure which versions of PS these are good for, but here are some plug-ins, that might be helpful.

I am looking at a SQL query without use of connect by to get the required output.
To recreate the issue, you can use this query in HR schema of Oracle and use Employees table.

How to delete a clip and expand the one beside it?

I'm thinking this is probably very straightforward but I don't know how. I have a section synched to the beat of the music soundtrack. There are several short clips I want to remove and have the clip beside the one to be deleted expand to replace it while maintaining the timing so everything stays in synch (ie delete clip #11 and have clip #12 expand to use the time formerly taken by #11 and #12). I've been doing this by rolling the edit point over the one I want to remove but then there's always one frame remaining which I then have to delete and then expand the remaining clip to compensate. Somewhere I'm sure I read how to do this in a less convoluted way. Can anyone tell me how?

The best solution when you are synching to a music sound track would be to put the music in the primary storyline, so think of doing that in the future.
For the present situation...
It *should* work with the trim tool by rolling the first part of the clip over the second; the problem, as you pointed out, is that the second clip will not be trimmed to zero length: it will leave a single frame.
One way around this involves lifting from the primary storyline:
1) Select the clip you want to extend. Hit Cmd-Option-Up arrow to lift from the primary.
2) Extend the now lifted clip; use the snapping to make it end exactly where it should.

How to write select query for all the user tables in database

Can any one tell me how to select the columns from all the user tables in a database
Here I had 3columns as input...
1.phone no
2.memberid
3.sub no.
I have to select call time,record,agn from all the tables in a database...all database tables have the same column names but some may have additional columns..
Eg: select call time, record,agn from ah_t_table where phone no= 6186759765,memberid=j34563298
Query has to execute not only for this table but for all user tables in the database..all tables will start with ah_t
I am trying for this query since 30days...
Help me please....any kind of help is appreciated.....

so that i form a temporary view for this script as a table(or store the result in a temp table) and my problem will be solved..Sorry, I don't understand. What is a "temporary view"?

How to restore time machine disk to the original one?

I am new to the mac osx world, my macbook pro has 500GB and I used 350 GB for my MAC OSX system, another 150 GB for windows system. I partition it but made a mistake when under the OSX system, I erased the windows disk( 150 GB). When I tried to partition the disk again, it said: "The startup disk must be formatted as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume or already partitioned by Boot Camp Assistant for installing Windows."
Now I just wanna back the 150 GB to my original 350 GB disk so my macbook can have 500 GB disk. How can I do under the disk utility? I do not know the "erase" "RAID" " restore" mean. Thanks for help!

Try using the "Boot Camp Assistant" (in the Utilities folder) to delete the Windows partition.

How to restore my iPad with no the last version

After upgrade to IOS 7 My iPad become to origin settings. I tried to restore my last saved but after some problems with my computer, when I restarted it and I connect again my iPad , a new back up was done and now iTunes just let me restore this last back up empty of data. I need to restore the other saving I done some minutes ago. Is it possible? How can I do it? I can't find the option by using iTunes .
