How to roll up costs in BOM

Folks
Can anyone please tell how to go down in Bill of Materials and calculate the components qty.
I could figure out all the component materials for a finished good, but I cannot calculate each components qty to make the final finished good.
I want the solution in either PL/SQL or SQL.

BOM is an Oracle Discrete Manufacturing Product. In Oracle Process Manufacturing, the Module is known as "Formulas".
There is standard functionality in OPM for performing cost rollups that are described in the OPM Cost Management Users guide. Please contact me directly if you need further assistance.

I create a BOM with several items. I now want to know what the cost of all the items of the BOM, the cost of the product is. All items used are in stock and have an item cost (average) in master data.

Hi Franz,
If you are using Standard Cost as default inventory valuation method, your itemcost price list will be grayed out because it is based on system calculation. Item Cost will become a variable so that you may find BOM could be affected by all different kinds of inventory transactions. If you need a clear picture of the cost for BOM, you may need to define all component items' default price list not to be itemcost.

Cost From BOM, WorkCentre, Routing

Hai Techies,
Could you please help me with some inputs for my query related to capturing cost from BOM, Workcentre, routing. To capture the cost should it always require to have an production order?
My doubt is mainly with respect to new product where they are creating a new product and during the new product implementation. So for the new product there wont be any production orders(correct me if im wrong). In that case how to compute the cost of the product.
Is there any possibilities.

Hi,
In SAP you need to have either production order ( Discrete ) or planned order ( REM) in place to capture the cost.
cost are captured when you book confirmation in Co11n or MFBF.
From PP side you need to maintined OPL8 custmizing for planned and actual costing variant. These costing varaints are created in CO.
In BOM you need to mainating stock items and in staus / langauage text view maintin indicator , item relevent for costing.
In Routing operations you need to maintin contorl key which allows costing as well as in detailed operation view maintain indicator, costing allowed for operations.
Work center has cost center attched to it. It also has different costing formulas which helps you to claculate activity costs of individual operations to which work center is attached.

If you are looking for the details regarding Product Cost collector means,check out this
1.For Creating cost collector you have 3 different controlling Levels like
Production Version (BOM + Routing combination or BOM+Rate Routing combination)
BOM & Routing
Production/planning plant.(where no preliminary cost estimate cannot be made in this case)
2.Once after creating product Cost collectors,the production booking cost will get accumulated in the
respective product cost collector and the variances can be settled at the period end.
3.Generally PCC - Product Cost collector's are used in REM - Repetitive manufacturing scenario.
4.Why do u want to create a PCC against come back date?As far as i know few use to try to the production
confirmations for back dates.

If you have a tool, try removing the battery cover and chech out. Some times the camera pin may have been misplaced. If so, you can fix it yourself.

How to find the cost center group from cycle/ segment in CO module?

I need to fetch the list of cost centers in the cost center group against the cycle.
Is there any table which will store the list of cost centers against the cycle?
or else, what I was thinking is use of BAPI BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_GETDETAIL, which will give me the list of cost centers,
but we need to pass the controlling area + cost center grp to fetch the cost centers from BAPI, I have controlling area with me but not the cost center grp name, only I have Cycle info lke cycle name, segment name, seq number. so how to find the cost center grp name from the cycle name?

This is an international community. Prices vary from country, state, city, etc.
You should call the repair shop of your choice and ask for an estimate. Make sure the estimate includes taxes, labor costs, etc.
Remember, no one can give you an exact figure until the repair techs physically examine & run diagnostics on your computer to confirm what is wrong w/it.

How to delete the cost center line item data of particular cost center and only one cost center is exisiting for that company code.

I recently accidentally dropped my 13" Macbook Pro and got two small dents/scratches on the aluminum front of the computer. It's really bothering me and I would like to get it fixed but I'm not sure how much it would cost bringing it to the Apple store. I've read some answers and it says that the price range is between $626 - 1,200. I have AppleCare BUT I'm not sure that AppleCare will cover cosmetic blemishes. It's a bit worrisome and I don't wish to spend so much money.
I would prefer not to exchange the computer because I know you can do that but I highly doubt Apple would allow me to get a new computer (considering the scratches are rather really small). The scratches are really just bothersome.

I just bought my first Mac computer ever and I'm loving it -- and the battery life is phenomenal. I'm just worried that in a year it'll be half of what it is now which would not be unlike any other non-Mac laptop, but I really like the battery life this Mac gives.
So I'm wondering, at that point, how much would it cost to have the battery replaced? Does AppleCare include a battery replacement? I know that it's not exactly something I want to replace myself, so how much would it cost to have the Apple Store replace it, if not?

I've got myself a Macbook Pro 13" (Mid-2009) that has got a fair few scratches in one corner and some noticeable dents on the lid. The top and bottom casing are all new after getting it repaired under AppleCare.
I was wondering how much the lid would cost to replace (so my whole casing is in tip-top condition) and whether that includes the LCD as well. I know its going to be expensive and have already explored ifixit.com and other vendors for fixing it on the Internet and I'm not fond of just buying a case like a hardshell just to cover it up.
So if anyone has had it done by Apple or knows roughly how much it would cost to replace then that would be great!
