How to run a Oracle 6i report in SunSolaris

I have developed a Oracle 6i report in NT,
but i am unable to run it in SunSolaris , under report6i server , any suggestions regarding this topic are welcome..

The error that i am getting while running RWRUN60 on solaris is as follows:
Initially when i type RWRUN60 at ias/6iserver/bin i am getting the following error.
ld.so.1: ./rwrun60: fatal: libjava.so: open failed: No such file or directory
KilledTo resolve this problem i have set the ORACLE_HOME path and then this problem was solved,But i am getting a new error after setting the path.
The Error is
Error: cannot initialize oracle Toolkit
Any Suggestions to overcome this problem will be of great help.

You did not mention exactly which Forms version you are using so it will be difficult to offer specific help. However, you did mention Forms 9i. ALL "9i" releases were desupported long ago, so find software or documentation are becoming more difficult.

You can use utl_smtp package in the after report trigger to send mail after the report run is completed.

How to run a oracle report from alert

I need to run a report (rdf + rtf ), input for this report are coming from an alert but it generating output in XML format only.
If i run report seperately then it is giving me proper PDF output.
Things that i have done till now ::
1. Created a alert.
2. In "Action" of that alert created a new action
and in action details
i. Action Type :: Concurrent Program
ii. Application :: Custom ont
iii. Argument :: input parameter name
3. This thing giving me output in XML format.
Second approach ::

I have downloaded, unzipped this report as per R12 Oracle E-Business Suite Pre-install Patches Report [Video] (Doc ID 1448102.1)
What then? The instructions say
Unzip the file, extracting the entire contents, which creates the "EBS_12.1_Preinstall" folder. (The unzipped folder will use <1 MB of storage space.)
Navigate to the EBS_12.1_Preinstall folder
Open the file 'index.html' in a browser
Do not rename any of the the files in the EBS_12.1_Preinstall folder. Such an action will break the report.
But the "Index" is supposed to show what? At the moment all I see is a number of sections that have nothing in them (the other html pages, like AP etec, do provide information)

How to run a Oracle 9i .JSP report from outside 9i Reports Builder

Hi,
I have successfully created a .JSP report from within 9i Reports Builder. It runs fine and generates desired output using Run -> Web Layout from the Reports Buider menu. The output is a .htm one.
Now, my requirement is to run this .JSP from my application without using Reports Builder. In other words, I want to integrate this .JSP with my existing application which will fetch data dynamically for the user. There is no hint to this solution in the 9i Reports Tutorial available at OTN.
A sample code would be highly helpful.

partha,
you deploy a reports-jsp to your oracle9i application server like any other JSP. copy it to a directory in the application servers document tree.
when you execute the reports-jsp it will need a reports server (in process or stand alone) to execute since the actual data-management is done by the reports-server.

How to run the oracle form in linux system

Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)
Oracle Database 11g Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
I can easily run my on Windows and Linux platform untill i am not use java bean in my form. After using the getMacaddress JAVA BEAN. I am not able to run my form on linux platform. If i remove the java bean from my form than form will run on linux.
I am not familiar with linux so i am not able to trace the problem basicaly i don't know which version of jre is used by linux system and i don't know how to find it.
Please guide me.

How to run two or more reports in parallel?

Scenario:
I have created three report programs. After the first report is processed, I prepare a selection parameter based on the result and call the other two programs simultaneously by using the SUBMIT command.
Issue:
As the other two programs are completely independent, I want the these to run in parallel and return the result set.
Can anybody suggest how do I achieve this?

table I pass to the other two programs as shown:
Program 2:
SUBMIT <program_name> AND RETURN
          USER sy-uname
          WITH SELECTION-TABLE lt_params_1.
Program 3:
SUBMIT <program_name> AND RETURN
          USER sy-uname
          WITH SELECTION-TABLE lt_params_2.
As suggested by you, I have checked for the job options. I found that i need to call the function modules in the order as
1. JOB_OPEN
2. JOB_SUBMIT
3. JOB_CLOSE
The question is how do i pass the selection parameter table in the FM JOB_SUBMIT? I can see there is a report parameter but how do I pass the table to it
Can you please suggest.

I always get error when startup database when starting up the second database.
It seem it can work with 2 datbase on the same time.

If you have already created the second database. Then you can be able to start it. You should be able to run many databases on your Redhat 9 box.
Set the ORACLE_SID for each database you want to start.
To start db1
From command prompt
$ export ORACLE_SID=db1
$sqlplus /nolog
SQL>connect /as sysdba
SQL>startup
To start db2
From command prompt
$ export ORACLE_SID=db2
$sqlplus /nolog
SQL>connect /as sysdba
SQL>startup
If they are in different oracle home. First set the ORACLE_HOME before each
e.g
$export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/ora10g
or
$export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/em_1

I have sorted out the email side of the job, but need to know if/how I can run BPC reports from SSIS.
Has anyone done anything similar, or have any tips/pointers?

I have never done this, but I doubt this is something possible in a standard way, or if it's feasable, could be very difficult to set up.
In fact, BPC works over Webservices, and it should probably be possible to use an ActiveX task inside our SSIS package and code something in VB there, referencing some API...
In any case, why don't you use the Offline Distribution Wizard for that? It's doing exactly what you're expecting.

I try to run addm report. I run code as @?/rdbms/admin/addmrpt.sql in sqlplus.
where can I find this report?
I am new person for this. I need to use this report for performance checking.
We use oracle 10GR4 in window 2003.

The report will be created in the directory from where you launched the sqlplus.
e.g If you current working directory is $ORALCE_HOME/BIN then the awr report will be created in same directory
$ORALCE_HOME/BIN if you don't explicitly mention some other path when the oracle prompt for" Enter value for report_name".
File name defaults to addmrpt_instanceid_startsnap_endsnap.txt
