How to set a select option's item as invisible (using a method code)

Hi there,
I need to hide parameters and select option fields, but Iu2019m using the select_option component to add all items to the layout using just one View Container Element.
I could use to hide the View Container Element setting the property visible, but I need to hide fields with certain conditions. I also could add one View Container Element for each select option, but I have many... I wish I could make in other way.
Iu2019ve checked the Definitions of the Interface IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS and the Ulli Hoffmannu2019s book and I have found no help at all.

Thank you, this helps but will solve just part of my problem. I'm using many views and to pass the values from those select options and parameters I just declare them in the first view... The other answer helps me more that shows how to remove one element. I was looking for a hide feature and not remove, but seems that I have to remove.

U can add select-options in ur module pool by using SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN <scrn> AS SUBSCREEN command.

Can any one help me on how to set auto delete option for mails older than 15 days from my Z10.

There is no such option in BB 10.
However, you can achieve a similar result by setting your email sync timeframe to 14 days (the closest option).
If you are using an ActiveSync account (such as Hotmail, Outlook.com), go to Settings > Accounts > select the account. Tap advanced at the bottom of the screen. Scroll to the very bottom, tap Sync Timeframe and set to 14 days.
If you are using an IMAP account (such as Gmail or GMX), you will have to delete, then re-add your account. The Sync Time frame is only avaialble during setup for these accounts. When adding, tap advanced at the bottom of the screen and set the Sync Timeframe.

The system should automatically filter the lower level drop downs based on the selection of a higher level.
For e.g. :
If a user selects a Country then the States drop down should only display the State's belongs to the Country. Similarly when a State is selected, the District drop down should display only those District's belongs to the State.

To hide select options you should use interface method REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM of IF_WD_SELECT_OPTIONS.
Sample code :
Write the below code in the Event handler of Radio Button.
DATA lv_r_helper_class TYPE REF TO if_wd_select_options.
lv_r_helper_class = lo_interfacecontroller->init_selection_screen(
lv_r_helper_Class->REMOVE_SELECTION_SCREEN_ITEM(exporting i_id = 'Select_option1_id1').
This will hide first select option of your screen.Similarly pass select_option_id2 to hide it and so on.

No it won't help.
You can't set a value into an <input type="file"> control at all. The user has to put values in themselves.
The reason behind this is security. If the programmer could put any value they liked in there, you could upload any file at all from a users computer without their intervention. eg C:\windows\system32\passwords.txt
Bottom line: you can't put a default value into the input type="file" control.
And a good thing too ;-)

Try RANGES.

Steps to get SELECT-OPTIONS in module pool programs.
1.Start one dialog program with SAPMZ_001.
Place the below code in the TOP include of the dialog program.
TABLES marc.
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 3200 AS SUBSCREEN.
SELECT-OPTIONS: werks FOR marc-werks.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 3200.
2 .Create one screen 3000.
Go to Layout of the screen and Define subscreen area on the screen and Name it as l_subscreen.
Place the below code in the Flow logic of the screen.
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen INCLUDING 'SAPMZ_001' '3200'.
PROCESS AFTER INPUT.
CALL SUBSCREEN l_subscreen.
Activate all.
Create Transaction code for the dialog program .
Execute the transaction code. You will see the select-option for werks how we see on Selection-screen.

Thanks for reply. but the problem is that I am getting data from database and based on some flag I need to select checkbox while page is loading first time.
at that time the table is null as till now it not rendered. and when its rendered it means page is displayed now.
just before display I need to set checkbox as selected.
I don't want to do like this (when user is pressing any command button then only is should update checkbox selection).

Hi subhajit nag,
I think the best approach would what I say is if you can make use of a Global variable or using a Singleton class having a variable which can be accessed globally through out the application.
Below is the sample what I am talking to:
So in below example you can access the variables textInputWidth and textInputHeight globally throghout the application since you have decalred them in main mxml file.
You can access these variabled in another mxml file as Application.application.textInputWidth and Application.application.textInputHeight. So if at all you are required to modify these values you are only required to modify at a single place in main mxml file..thats it.
If you are use any Singleton classes like ModelLocator you can place these variables in this class and refer from that class.
Hope this resoved your problem..
