How to set column headers in Mail on MacBook Pro?

In Mail on my MacBook Pro I have a number of columns set as a default view in Mail - To, Subject, Date etc
I want to add Mailbox (as I have more than one mail account) as a default header.
When I right click on the header bar and add it, it works but next time I log on it's gone again.
How do I add Mailbox as a column permanently?

Can anybody help me with this?
I anticipated it would be quite a straight forward issue.
I presume I've posted it on the right forum but please advise if not.

Some time ago, I connected my macbook pro to them via bluetooth, and now whenever I restart my macbook or move it away from the apartment and then move it back, it automatically finds the soundsticks, connects to it via bluetooth, and sets it as the default sound output device.
I would like the soundsticks to remain connected whenever they're within range, but I want my macbook's internal speakers to be the default sound output even if the soundsticks are connected. I can't seem to set output device preferences in the sound preferences panel.

Setting Up Optonline E-mail on MacBook Pro using Outlook 2011

I had lots of trouble setting this up. I even went to a one to one session at the Apple Store and they couldn't figure it out either.
We copied the setting from my outlook off my old PC but no luck.
Then I had an online chat with an optonline representative and let him take control of my screen.
He did two simple things under the account settings:
(1) Check the box that says override default port, while making sure the Use SSL to connect box is NOT checked
(2) Change the outgoing server port to 587
The incoming mail servers still stays at port 110, with none of the boxes checked.

As you're probably aware, Outlook is the new preferred name so maybe that's been an issue. They've added IMAP support too now.
I tried that with mine but have to add an "other" account, enter the incorrect email (.co.uk instead of .com) which triggered the manual section. Filled it in using the deals here: ( http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/w...ceive-from-app) and then corrected the .co.uk issue in preferences afterwards.
Pain, but it's working.....so far!

You can add rules to apply to incoming messages - for example, I throw everything from senders that are not in my address book into the Junk mailbox. From there, I can easily scan the senders and subject lines to see if the message might be something I do want to look at, and the rest I toss - junk mail can be erased without looking at it.

How to set shortcuts for external keyboard for MacBook Pro?

I attached a wired external keyboard (Apple aluminum) to my MacBook Pro. Several of the function keys are preprogrammed, and several are open. I want to program one of the open function keys to emulate the F11 key on the internal keyboard, the one that moves all open windows out of the way to show the desktop. The keyboard shortcuts tab in System Preferences only controls the internal keyboard.
Does anyone know a way to do this?

How to set columns for Zip Codes?

I am new to iMac and in my first week using trial version of Numbers. I work in sales and we do lots of mailings using merging of data and addresses for post cards, labels, etc.
I cannot see how to set columns to a zip code setting. All zips entered beginning with a 0 drop the front 0. I tried calling the column as Text, but it did not help. I can type a ' in from of the 0 and it works, but this takes an insane amount of time and will not work for us.
How do you deal with Zip Codes? Are there labeling options for mailing built into Numbers? I really want to dump all MS products but will have to drop mac and return buy Office if this is not correctable.

Setting the column format to text do the trick on my french version too.
With AppleWorks, I was accustomed to use a zeroSlashed so it remained in my zip codes when I moved codes here and there.

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

How to set expanded conversations on Mail ?

Hi there,
I need to know how to set expanded conversations on Mail inbox.
Every time I turn off/on the iMac and open again the Mail, the visualization of mail conversations are unttached again, I mean, I have to manually set to expand all conversations again and again.
How to fix that ?
mail > sort by converstation > expand all conversations
mail > preferences > visualization > ... include related conversations
I did it all, but they conversations stay expanded only when Mail app is open. If I close it, I'll have to all all over again.

If the MS Exchange ActiveSync port had been changed, how to set up the iPad Mail account?

Hi all,
The default MS Exchange ActiveSync port is 443 but due to security reason it had been changed.
Under this situation how to set up the iPad Mail account?
I could not find out the port modification area in iPad account settings.
Or any other apps are suitable for multiple accounts within 1 domain?
That means i can use this app for more than 1 email accounts within 1 exchange server.
I had tried eMailGanizer. It could allow you to modify the port number but if you need to send email you still need to set up the account in Apple mail first.
I tried Outlook Mail but could not allow multiple accounts within 1 domain.
I tried Mail Access 2010 but it could not display the emails in the server.
Please help!

using Outlook.com I just deleted an email
    by clicking the Trash icon that appears
      when hovering near an email subject
        in the list of emails.
Then I clicked the Send/Receive button
in Apple Mail.
The email disappeared from the Inbox listing
in Apple Mail.
The email is listed in the Deleted Folder
within Apple Mail.
The email also appears in Outlook.com
within the Deleted Folder
I'm not seeing an equivalent operation in Outlook.com
to perform the Erase Deleted items
    such as Apple Mail provides..
There was momentarily a "Sweep to Delete"
animation that appeared and is now gone..
Pomme is correct.. by selecting "Erase Deleted Items"
within Apple Mail does not clear the Deleted Folder
    when the email was first deleted using Outlook.com
Now I'm seeing further synch problems in that deleting in Outlook.com
The emails disappear from Apple Mail Inbox,
    but do not appear within the Apple Mail Deleted Folder..
      (as it did with the first message I deleted using Outlook.com)
Yes.. there is some synchronizing problems..
I just exited Apple Mail, and restarted it, synched
and now all messages deleted from Outlook.com
    appear within Apple Mail Deleted Folder..
For Outlook.com the equivalent operation to Erase Deleted Items
Is to click the Trash icon next to the emails
    within the Deleted Folder..
Moral of the story is for Apple Mail
periodically select Erase Deleted Items
and for Outlook.com
    periodically look in the Deleted Folder
      and delete those emails (that you already deleted)
        a second time..

It's not completely obvious. What you have to do in Spaces is to position your cursor to the upper right of the screen, after which faint + (plus) sign appears in that area. Click that, upon which another Desktop will appear.
The + may be difficult or impossible to see with some desktop backgrounds (black, for instance):
